25 Returned Memories
(Jered's POV)
My parents and I were at Jacob's house for pack stuff when Jacob came running and told us to follow him, that Athena needed us. I thought it was a little weird but we followed him to the dungeon. We all entered the room and I asked Athena what was wrong.
Hearing Athena say that they found Diamond, I was nearly in tears. "Where is she?" I asked and she pointed to the girl in the chair. I looked at the girl in the chair and I ran up to the girl. She had cuts on her skin that were slowly healing and she was unconscious.
I lifted up her face and looked at her. She had changed so much but I knew it was her. I lifted her up bridal style and carried her out of the room. My parents followed me as I brought her to our car. We all got in the car and my dad drove while my mom and I were holding onto to Diamond.
We arrived at our house and I quickly got out of the car with her and went into the house. I went up into her old room and placed her on the bed. I sat down in a chair at the side of her bed and just grew sad staring at her unconscious face. 'This all my fault. I'm the reason she went missing all those years ago'

*Flashback*
(10 years ago)
"Jered... JerED.... JERED!" I heard someone yell my name. I shot my head up from my desk and noticed nobody was in the class except for me and my professor. I had fallen asleep in the middle of one of my college classes. My professor was the one who was yelling my name.
I gathered my stuff and stood from my seat. I was about to walk out of the classroom, when my professor told me to come to him. I looked at my watch to check the time. I had to pick up Diamond from school in like ten minutes. I didn't want her to wait and be by herself, but it looks like it didn't have a choice.
I sighed and walked over to him. We were discussing about how I have been sleeping in class lately. I quickly explained my situation about doing pack work at night while still trying to finish my assignments for school and about how I haven't been able to catch up on my sleep. He understood and explained to me that I needed to catch up on my sleep or I will fall behind in class and get kicked out of class.
I quickly nodded and ran out o
f the room and went to my car. I drove out of the college's parking lot and was on the road, on my way to pick up Diamond.
I drove as fast as I could and I arrived at a her school ten minutes late. I got out of the car and ran inside to find Diamond. The thing was that I couldn't find her. I went into the principal office and asked where Diamond was. He informed me that she had left with her father.
I grew confused. I walked out of his office and called my dad. I asked him if her came and picked up Diamond and he told me no.
As soon as I heard his answer, I grew really scared. I told my dad to call a search party immediately, that Diamond was taken. I ran out the building and looked around frantically. I jumped into my car and drove around for what seemed like hours, searching for her.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find her and neither could the search party. We searched everywhere for days... months... years, but we couldn't find her. I never stopped searching for her even if everybody else did.

*Present*
I was too busy having all those thoughts in my head, that I didn't notice tears flowing down my cheeks. I covered my face with the palms of my hand.
I felt a pair of arms wrap around my, shoulders and I knew it was my mate, Adriana. I took a deep breath and she kneeled in front of me and pulled my hands away from my face. She took a tissue from the bedside table and wiped my tears from my face.
"It's going to be okay. She is back now. Someone blocked her memories with a wall, but I'm slowly helping her regain all her memories. Yes it will be painful but she will remember her past with you.Don't worry." she said as she stroked my cheek. I nodded and placed my hand on top of hers that was on my cheek and gave it a small kiss.
"I hope she wakes up soon." I said and she nodded. "Just don't expect everything to go back to how it was before she went missing. She has been through a lot so don't push her." she said and I said "Ok". She gave me a small kiss and left the room, leaving me with Diamond. I sighed and just watched her. 'I finally found you. Welcome home Diamond.'
