Rescuing The Love of My Life

(Storm's POV)

"What happened?" Jacob asked me as he was driving with everybody following behind us. "Athena tried to mind link with me but the signal was cutting off and I couldn't hear her." I replied. Jacob let out a sigh and started to drive faster.

We got the location they were at by one of the scout teams. I was very aware of this location because I was tortured here several times when I was young. We were all suited up with battle gear and were now on our way there. I seriously can't wait to kill that son of a bitch once and for all.

After about an hour of driving, we arrived at the warehouse. We parked our cars a little far so we wouldn't be noticed. Jered handed me the building plans of the warehouse. I lay it out on the hood of the car and start giving instructions. "Okay Jacob and I will take the front. Jered, you take the back. Julian, take the roof and Nathan, there is an underground tunnel right here on the outskirts of the harbor. You will make sure no one escapes through there. While you guys handle everybody else, Jacob and I will split in the middle and look for Luna, Athena, and Blade. Are we all clear?" I asked. "They gave me assuring nods. "Then let's move." I said out loud.

We grabbed our groups and we started to walk towards the warehouse and split up. 'I don't care how we do it, but no matter what I will rescue the love of my life.' I said to myself. Once we were close to the warehouse, we separated into our groups. Jacob and my groups headed towards the front of the warehouse. We stopped when we saw two guards around the corner making their rounds around the warehouse.

I turned to our groups and placed my finger on my lips indicating them to not make a sound. They nodded and I quietly teleported behind the guards and took out Athena's karambit blades. Using my vampire speed, I ran in front of them and before they could react, I had already slit their throats. Blood pooled from their throats and I gave them a sinister smile as they looked at me in shock and slowly fell to the ground and bled out.

Jacob and our groups came out and looked at the guards on the grounds. Jacob gave me a slight smile and we kept on walking. We encountered more people and we fought them off. Then all of a sudden, an alarm started to go off. Followed soon by a explosion and the ground to shake. We all tried to keep our balance as the ground shook. When it was over, Jacob and I looked at each other with questioning looks.

We shrugged and kept going forward for a little while until finally we arrived at the middle of the building. Jacob and I gave each other a nod and we seperated from there. My group and I walked down a hallway and when we turned a corner, we found about fifteen men on the ground. I squatted down and felt one of the men's pulse. He was dead. They were all dead. Looking at them closer, I noticed a bunch of burn marks. 'Did Athena do this?' I asked myself.

I smiled inwardly a little bit, but I went nervous. I looked around and didn't notice Athena around. 'Where did she go?' I got up from my squat and we kept on walking forward. That was until I noticed something on the ground. I went closer to the object and I immediately went pale. It was the necklace I had given Athena after our first date. I picked it up and clenched my fist around. I took a couple of deep breaths and then stuffed the necklace in my pocket.

My group and I continued to walk down the hall when out of nowhere a group of more guys came out. I am seriously not in the mood for this. I have to find Athena. I yelled at my group to go after the guards while I keep going. They happily obeyed and fights to break out. I passed through with ease and kept on moving forward. I walked down the hallway until I hit the very last door.

I opened the door of the last room and went inside. The room was somewhat lit so it wasn't that hard to see Athena sitting in a chair tied up in the middle of the room. I quickly ran over to her not knowing their was actually someone in the corner of the room watching. My only focus was on Athena. When I got to her, she looked like she wawas still unconscious. "Baby please wake up. We came to rescue you." I said as I untied her.

After I untied her, a laugh started to come from the corner of the room. It was the laugh of the person I wanted to kill everyday of my life. Blade came out from the corner and said "So you actually came for the girl. Very impressive". I grew very angry and started to walk towards him. " I wouldn't do that if I were you." he then said while shaking his head. I halted in my tracks and went confused and said "Why the hell not?"

He gave me a sinister smile and said out loud "You wouldn't let him touch me would you, Athena?". 'What in th--' before I could finish my thought I was thrown against the wall hard. Damn who the fuck threw me. I looked up to see a familiar face and I immediately went pale. 'Athena?' I said to myself. "Yes Alpha. I won't let him touch you." she said as she gave me a evil smirk.
