28 Expansion

'What to do now...' Ronan was bored, he didn't know what to do.

It had been 2 weeks since he went to court and the A.I was working on finishing the bugs for the expansion, he would release it within the next week and the number of bugs that needed to be fixed were in the hundreds, most small, but some were large.

The A.I. was also getting onto level 5. Ronan had assumed that something would happen at level 5 but it wasn't guaranteed as Ronan had no information about it apart from what it does.

Ronan had also received several calls from Steve, the ad agency was looking to settle with Ronan, only that the money Ronan would get was $100,000 as long as he lets the name go, but Steve recommended that they wait as he might be able to get as much as $1,000,000 as the deadline grows closer, that and it's was obvious to Steve that they wanted to protect someone important since they wouldn't give the name of the person stealing.

2 days later.

The A.I had finished levelling up, it had reached level 5.

'So what does it do now? When I look at the info I can't see anything, all it says is downloading, the system did you break my A.I. because if you did please fix it.' Ronan was annoyed his bug fixer was broken.

'No, it's just upgrading, let it download then you can view everything.' The system replied.

"Sure." Ronan said out loud.

'Having done that in a while.' Ronan hardly ever spoke out loud to his system any more, although it did happen from time to time, especially when he was choosing his suit and the system happened to do what it always does which is giving as much depression to Ronan as possible, that and anything negative.

'Well, don't do it, idiot...' The system finished with a sigh, making Ronan sad.

'I'm getting taunted by something that doesn't even exist...' Ronan was bored and he was looking for something to do, so he looked at ways to use his money to make more money.

'System, how do I make money.' Ronan was curious about the answer.

'Anything, invest, you did it before with less money, or at least give it to someone qualified to invest so you don't lose it all or go into retail, in smaller towns/cities because you sure as hell can't afford anything in the mid-large ones or sponsor some kind of event, it'll get you publicity but it'll only work in the long run, in fact you can save me time and just google it, simple.' The system gave up after talking for so long.

'Thanks.' Ronan thanked the system for once, although he took no action on anything the system said.

Ronan spent the next hour looking for ways to use his money to make money, at this point Ronan had roughly $35,000 he would have more than double that if it wasn't for all the costs he has to pay out each month.

'Well, investing some of it looks to be reliable, but unlike last time I'll invest some of it through a company leaving a small amount for personal use.' Ronan decided to invest $5k through an investment firm and $500 from an investment account for him to personally invest, it was a considerable gamble and he had to find the best company with the best reputation, one that wasn't likely to run away with the money once they get it.

It took Ronan 2 days to find a suitable investment firm, they were called L&P Investments, They didn't have the best success rates but they did have one of the best reputations which means that they are more reliable than most, Ronan didn't have to do much in order to invest with them, he just had to fill out some forms, mail them off and add the money into the account, everything else was up to the investment firm, Ronan also made an alert so he could see how much he gained or lost each month.

He also made a personal account with the same firm so he could trade whenever he wanted.

The next day, Ronan hadn't done anything with his personal account, but L&P had invested $1.5k of the money he put in with them.

The A.I finished downloading after Level 5, unlocking the learning and writing function, Ronan could now upload coding textbooks into the A.I and then the A.I can write small amounts of code to help Ronan instead of just fixing bugs, making it more useful compared to normally, although the amount of code it can write is limited to 10 lines every 3 hours.

But the most important part of the day was the expansion, it was to be released today, the A.I. said that they don't have any large bugs which are potentially game-breaking left, making it ideal to release.

Ronan prepared everything, he took the game down for 1 hour so that he could integrate the update, it was roughly 300 MB so it wouldn't take up much time to download.

The update was done, in the meantime, he had received numerous complaints about the servers being down in several languages, most of which Ronan couldn't understand, now it was time for Ronan to wait for feedback on the new release, hopefully it was good but no doubt there will be some problems to appear eventually, the game will need to be tweaked.
