Miserable and Pathetic

In the car,

"You better behave yourself! One wrong move, you know what will happen.", the man warned the woman sitting beside him.

Huang Ru Shi didn't talk but her body shook silently. She hated herself for being so weak. She hated herself for not having enough power to fight back. She hated herself for dragging everyone else down with her. She wished she could turn back the time where she was truly happy, but it's too late. She regretted not listening to her family. She regretted chasing her dream.

Flashback,

"I don't care! I want this!"

"No! If you're really going to choose that path, then, you're not our daughter!"

"Be it that way! From the start, I never see you as my parent!"

"You!" the man was so angry to the point that he was speechless.

"Ru Shi, my child, please think twice before making a decision..,", said the woman as she stared at her daughter painfully.

"I'm an adult. You both were never here since I was a child. And with this, you're not qualified to make a decision for me! I, Huang Ru Shi, from now on, is not your daughter!"

The young woman glared at her parent hatefully. She hated her family trying to stop her from chasing her dream. She hated them for not understanding her passion and love.

Huang Ru Shi turned around to leave.

"Huang Ru Shi!", shouted the man.

But she never turned to look back.

End of flashback.

She closes her eyes as tears fell. If this was the path becoming an idol, then, she was foolish and naive. She was foolish to believe does flattering words in the past before she signs the contract. Oh, how she wishes she could turn back the time.

The car suddenly stopped, "Get out. You better don't mess it up."

Huang Ru Shi opened her eyes as she took a deep breath and wipes her tears. She wore her sunglasses as she opened the car's door.

Camera lights flashed everywhere in front of her,

"Ms. Huang, I have a few ques-", before the reporter could finish his words, he was shoved by the bodyguard.

"Move!", yelled the bodyguard that protected her from the uninvited reporters as she was trying to walk through the reporters towards the venue for her second press conference.

"Justice for Huang Ru Shi!"

"Give her the justice that she deserves!"

Beside reporters there are hundreds of fans outside waiting for her, supporting her, but when she heard those fans words, she felt empty. What justice? It's would never come through the woman in despair.

As soon as she walked inside the venue, she could saw hundreds of reporters in front of her. Again, camera light flashed everywhere. The bodyguards lead her towards the stage.

When she was at the stage, she saw a young woman guide her towards her sit, thus she followed her and sat on her seat, while her manager sits on her left and the lawyer sits on the right.

"Good evening and welcome to Ms. Huang Ru Shi press conference, without further do, we will start the event.", the host said as she passed the microphone to her manager.

"Good evening and hello, I'm Guang Yi, manager of Huang Ru Shi. First, as a representative of Glory World Company, we want to apologize for making Ms. Huang Ru Shi apologize instead when she was the victim of the assaulted. We realize the way we handle the case was unprofessional and unfair for Ms.Huang. And thus, making the citizen including the whole world in chaos. With that, we deeply feel sorry and regretful with our action."

The people on the stage stood up as they bowed 90 degrees, sincerely and then stood straight.

"Second, to Ms. Liu Ying Yue, we are very thankful for your great support for our artist but unfortunately, Ms. Huang Ru Shi declines your help as she now has the support from her company and her own lawyer."

With this, Huang Ru Shi bowed 90 degrees again. She was thankful to Liu Ying Yue. Nobody knows how happy she was when she saw Liu Ying Yue was willing to help her, but life doesn't go on with what she wanted. Before she could even react, she already reached the dead end.

She stood straight again as she looked at the cameras in front of her. She felt sick and suffocated. Huang Ru Shi was the type that loved attention and popularity, but now, she only wishes that she could die.

"And lastly, we want to introduce you to our lawyer, Mr. Yang Chen."

"Mr.Yang.", said the manager as he passed the mic to Yang Chen.

"Good evening and hello to everyone. My name is Yang Chen, a lawyer of Ms.Huang Ru Shi. With this, I promise to Ms. Huang Ru Shi to help her and give her the justice that she deserves.", said the man seriously with a promising look.

Huang Ru Shi sneered inside, justice that I deserve? The only justice that I believe someone could give is, Liu Ying Yue. She clenched her fists tightly as she looked down and stared at her shoes.

She remembered her glory and luxurious life. She then compared herself in the past with the current her. She bites her lips silently. Tears threatened to fall, but she was able to hold it back. She was thankful that she still wore her sunglasses.

She chuckled inside, she was truly miserable and pathetic.
