I Don't Need Your Help

"Ms.Liu will come in a few minutes.", said Zhang Wei politely as he sits on the couch.

Not long after, they heard a sound of footsteps coming from the stairs. All of them looked at the young woman that walked towards the living room. Her beautiful long black hair was a little bit damp. Her bare face skin looks so smooth like a newborn baby. Her lips still look reddish with no lipstick on it. She's naturally gorgeous.

She wore a casual outfit, which was an oversized black t-shirt and light blue jean with a pair two black high-cut sneakers. She basically looked like a high school student in that outfit despite her age was 22 years old.

Liu Ying Yue sit beside Zhang Wei and leaned on the couch comfortably. She then looked at the main beside the couch and said, "Tea."

The maid nodded and bowed as she walked out from the leaving room.

The living room eerily silence. Liu Ying Yue was staring at somewhere around the house while she ignored the three men in the living room. Meanwhile, Zhang Wei leaned on the couch as he shut his eyes.

Li Jun, even though it's only plain water, he drank it like he was sipping a tea.

Li Rui couldn't stand with this atmosphere! He had enough of it! But he couldn't do anything. So what he did? He sulked.

Not long after the maid brought her tea over and put it on the table. Liu Ying Yue then looked at the maids and butlers around, with a knowing look. All of the maids and butlers bowed and walked away, leaving the living room.

Liu Ying Yue then stepped on Zhang Wei's foot, hard, as she looked at the two men in front of her with a poker face.

"Ouch! You ugly woman! How dare you disturbing this nobleman sleep-", Zhang Wei couldn't finish his words when he saw the cold look from Liu Ying Yue. He subconsciously gulped his saliva.

With an awkward smile as he looked at the young woman beside him as he said, "I mean 'You beautiful woman'."

Liu Ying Yue glared at him and stomped on his foot even more hard.

"Ouch! Okay! I'm sorry!", Zhang Wei pouted as he rubbed his foot on the sore spot, trying to ease the pain.

Liu Ying Yue ignored him again as she picked up the teacup and sips her tea.

"Since, Ms.Liu is already here. Let's get straight to the point. What's your intention?"

Li Jun looked at Zhang Wei coldly and said, "The case."

Zhang Wei was dumbfounded, he was confused.

"Which case?", asked Liu Ying Yue.

"Ms.Huang Ru Shi.", replied Li Rui.

"There's no case involving her right at the moment. As you can see, she still doesn't come to Ms.Liu yet.", said Zhang Wei.

"We know. But soon she will come and find you.", Li Rui said.

Zhang Wei and Liu Ying Yue were curious. Li Jun was not someone that involve himself with this type of things. Heck, he was a businessman for the god of sake! What's her relationship with Ms.Huang. Are they together, thus he's going to help her? But the Li's was a powerful clan. How come they need to use this unusual tactic?

"You're a famous prosecutor. It's only fair for me to use you instead. And our family are righteous.", suddenly Li Jun coldly said and snapped them out from their own thoughts. Both of them shiver. This man is not simple! It's like he knew what they were thinking.

For the first time, Liu Ying Yue felt like she needs to be extra careful whenever she confronts the man sitting opposite her. She got this feeling that this man was cold-blooded and heartless. She couldn't even read him.

Even so, she won't show any weakness in front of this man.

Suddenly a maid around her mid-30 came in as she walked straight to Liu Ying Yue and whispered something in her ear.

"Young Miss, Ms.Huang is here but she came with two bodyguards. The bodyguards look suspicious."

Liu Ying Yue nodded and said, "Bring her here."

The maid understood and walked away.

Zhang Wei glanced at the young woman beside him knowingly but he didn't say anything.

A few minutes later, a woman and two large men walked into the living room, with that Ms.Liu stood up and walked towards the woman.

"Ms.Huang, my name is Liu Ying Yue and I apologize for bringing you here instead of my office.", she said and offered a hand to shake.

The woman in front of her smile awkwardly as she shakes her hand and said, "It's not a problem. It's actually an honor for me to come here instead. I have an opportunity to see the famous prosecutor's home which was rarely seen in the newspaper or magazine. I'm surprised that it was this big."

Honestly, her house was not a secret. Everyone knows where she lives but not everyone dares to come here. The only reason why the Li's so surprised. It's because they don't pay attention enough towards her.

"I'm Zhang Wei, her assistant. Ms. Huang, please sit.", Zhang Wei said politely.

Ms. Huang then sits on the couch as she looked around uncomfortably. She then saw the two young men sit not far from her. She froze.

Liu Ying Yue and Zhang Wei sit back in their usual place. Liu Ying Yue looked at Ms.Huang that was frozen as she looked at two men and said, "Don't mind them."

"Prepare tea for the guest.", Zhang Wei ordered the maid.

The maid bowed and leave the leaving room.

The face on Huang Ru Shi turned panicked as she shouted,

"No need!"

The atmosphere turned quiet.

Huang Ru Shi knew she made a mistake and tried to explained, "Ms.Liu.., actually I came here to say that I don't need your help."

Liu Ying Yue stared at Huang Ru Shi blankly, she then observed the woman. She could still see that the woman face was covered with makeup as she was trying to hide her lifeless pale skin and dark circles around her eyes. She wore her usual glamorous clothes. From far, people looked at her as she was fine. But if you look closely, you could still see the flaws.

Liu Ying Yue eyes glint but soon disappeared. No one notices it except the black-haired man sitting opposite her.
