Chapter Two: Orpheus

According to Emrys' prophecy, he was born as a legacy vampire. Like any other vampire, he lived a normal life before getting transformed with the help of black magic, a witch hex.

To fully transit into their vampiric form, a Legacy vampire must complete a ceremonial first kill when they come of age. After this initial kill, they will have fully embraced their vampiric nature and will be able to live as vampires for eternity.

The Legacy vampires have their own society, which is governed by a hierarchical structure and culture. While their origins may differ from those of other vampires, they share many of the same abilities. They have superhuman strength, heightened senses, and the ability to heal rapidly. All legacy vampires have the peculiar ability to make more vampires. This is how the vampire population continues to grow. However, not all vampires possess this ability; only the ones who come from the line of legacy vampires can pass on the curse of vampirism through their bite. Vampires with a legacy bloodline are believed to be incapable of transforming into hybrids or any other kind of creature. They are also restricted from mating with other supernatural creatures. However, Orpheus's parents defied all known conventions and decided to make him something that had never been recorded in history.

According to an ancient myth, at the dawn of time, there existed a beautiful garden where two sisters were born. As per the age-old legend, the serpent, commonly known as Leviathan, appeared before Lilith and Eva in the Garden, offering them a deal that seemed too good to be true. In exchange for a mere drop of their blood, the serpent promised them knowledge and power beyond their wildest imaginations. Eva was hesitant and fearful of the consequences, but Eva's sister Lilith was intrigued by the serpent's offer and dared to take the risk.

Lilith's decision to embrace Leviathan's offer led to her transformation into the first legacy vampire. She was endowed with incredible powers and knowledge beyond human comprehension.
