What A Weird Day
One day the kid would wake up get ready for school and go. Having a normal day of school until… A fire drill and everyone left out but Bakkuk stayed by Kayla's side while she gathered her belongings but then just as they were about to leave it was a school lockdown and they were forced to stay in the library together while these men with guns entered the school but everyone outside were safe because they all got on buses and got to a safe place while the two students were stuck.
Man #1:Hey check and see if there's there's anyone in the gym
One man would proceed to go into the gym while the others divided and went into different sections of the school. There were 6 men in total and they all were strapped up with guns and were ready to shoot anyone in sight.
Man #2:man i hated this school… they got me sent to jail for 10 years and my family doesn't even wanna look at me so here's some pay back!
The man would start shooting the walls and doors down the hallway.
Habakkuk and Kayla were hiding under some comfy seats and then they were startled
Kayla:Oh my god was that gun shots!!!
Habakkuk:Yes! We gotta stay quiet or next it'll be us
Kayla: Okay…
Habakkuk would try to hide the fact that he was scared to death but it was made painfully obvious by his face and constant sweating that he was terrified.
Kayla:Are you okay?
Habakkuk:Yeah i'm fine…
The shooting would start back up
Habakkuk:Mommy!!! I mean oh my god…
Kayla would had been in Bakkuk's arms as they got closer together but something had fallen off a shelf nearby
Man#3:I think I heard something in the library!
Habakkuk: We are going to die!!
Kayla:please stay positive! We are gonna be just fine I hope...
Habakkuk:Yeah! Your right because we got me to save us!!
Habakkuk's thoughts:really right now? Playing at a time like this? I'm such an idiot i swear...
Man#4:Come out, come out wherever you are!
Man#2:Come on out or we'll shoot
Habakkuk:Damn what are we gonna do? Think think come on come on
Kayla would look Bakkuk in the eyes and they both felt the same energy or perhaps aura coming from each other
Kayla:What are we gonna do? Have any ideas?
Habakkuk:Usually i come up with master plans but this time I'm beat. I've never been in a situation like this before
Kayla:Damn it i don't want to die i'm scared you know?
Habakkuk:Yeah feelings mutual.... But you do look very cute when you're scared
Kayla would look at Bakkuk
Habakkuk's thoughts:Damn it I made things awkward, especially at a time like this! Am I stupid or am I stupid?!
Habakkuk:Hey. We'll find a way out of this i promise okay?
Kayla:Okay…
Man#1:I think i heard something! Sounds like whispering
Kayla:shit…
Habakkuk:Damn me and my big mouth! Now what am I going to say?
Man#1:Now again come on out or we'll shoot it?
Habakkuk and Kayla: …..
Man#1:Start shooting
The men started the shooting in the library which would cause the two frightened teens to jump with fear and the men would stop shooting as they figured out where the teens were located. They would then confront the two and tell them to get from under the table or they'll shoot them on the spot and they would both come from their hiding places and would be facing the men.
Habakkuk:You're not gonna shoot us are you?
Man#6:Shut up boy!!!
Habakkuk:Just don't hurt her okay
Man#2:Oh really?
Kayla would hold Habakkuk's arm tight
Habakkuk:Sir please I beg of you!!!
Man#2 would get a flashback of him begging and asking for mercy and it makes him really angry
Man#2:It's this school it's crazy! The people here are evil i'm telling you and you're apart of this school so I have to put you out of your misery!
Kayla's thoughts:This guy is nuts
Habakkuk:Well I don't know about that but you don't have to do this just please don't!!!
Man#2:Just watch me!
The man aimed his gun towards Kayla
Habakkuk:NOOOOO!!!!
IN AN INSTANT AN EXPLOSIVE RAGE WOULD BURST OUT OF HABAKKUK AND HE WOULD CHARGE AT THE MAN AIMING THE GUN AND PUNCH HIM MULTIPLE TIMES FORCING HIM TO DROP THE GUN AND FALL AND HABAKKUK WOULD BE ON TOP OF HIM PUNCHING INTO THE MAN WITH FULL FORCE
Until…
Man#4 would hit habakkuk across the cheek with his rifle and Habakkuk would fall to the ground and is now scared of what's to come
Man#4:Lights out kid!
Then a purple explosion would come from Kayla as her eyes would turn purple and she had purple aura and then would attack the men in sonic speeds and would form tiny tornadoes to take them out of the school
Habakkuk would be shocked and speechless and they would both hug, well she would be hugging him because he's just standing there due to shock and when he gets on the bus he's silent and still has the same expression on his face and when he gets home he's in the room for the whole day still shocked and even has dreams about it that night.
THE NEXT DAY!
Habakkuk would be walking in the school's hallway thinking about that horrific day over and over again.
Kayla would walk past him and his heart would skip beats
Kayla:hey what's wrong?
Habakkuk:Nothing! It's nothing...
Kayla:Uh huh… Come with me somewhere
Habakkuk:You want me to come with you?
Kayla:Jeez man... You're more shooken up than a rattle.
Habakkuk Thinking:Yeah you think!?
They would teleport to some secret room she has under her basement little does Habakkuk know.
Habakkuk:Where are we?
Kayla:My HQ
Habakkuk:Ummm ok…
Kayla:Why are you acting like this? Aren't you ok with someone with powers? Don't you want them yourself?
Habakkuk:Yeah but… This is all too new for me to process!
Kayla:How about I show and explain everything to you. Are you okay with that?
Habakkuk:Yes! I need to know your secret
Kayla:Now you sound desperate hehehehehehehe!
Habakkuk:Yeah Ha Ha Ha Ha…
Suddenly a huge explosion went off in a city nearby
Kayla:Someone's attacking the city! Lets GO!
Habakkuk:Now I gotta play sidekick with no powers?
Kayla:Really?
Habakkuk:What?
Kayla:Too soon
Habakkuk mumbles: Too soon my ass… Just don't let me die!
