He stared at the closed door for a long time before rolling back onto his stomach on the bed. That was a turn up. He was ridiculously pleased to discover that Hawkins wasn’t the kind of man to throw them out because of their relationship. Ridiculously pleased. He dropped his head onto his arms and smiled. It didn’t mean that Hawkins tastes were in line with his own, but it certainly suggested that they might be. He couldn’t imagine that he would have given them a home and safety were he not.
