11 TRANSFORMATION: JOY FOR THE JOURNEY CONNECTING TO GOD

Philippians 1:6

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Change is the process not a destination, change is letting go of things that held you captive. Sometimes we fail to change because we are so stubborn and want to do things by our own way. We do not move when God tells us to. We let our pass, situation and circumstance trapped us in a corner

We are afraid to change because we are comfortable and fine with the position that we are in and are afraid of what people may say about us. Change do hurts

But we have to accept the change that God have for us because transformation is from God's power. When we are transform we look out for our brothers and sisters in Christ and then we have an inner joy for the journey ahead.

Sometimes the journey get rocky and rough but we got to take joy in knowing that God have our back. Take joy in knowing that God holds our hands and He hold our future in his hands.

When we are transform and take joy we now can be connected to God. James tells us to draw nigh to God, he means that we need to get close to him he wants us to move close to God and never stop and when we do HE promise to draw nigh to us.

The song writer state: draw me close to you never let me go I lay it all down again to here you I'm your friend you are my desire no one else will do, nothing else can take your place to feel the warm of your embrace.

When we are connected to God our worship is different, the way we walk, talk and act is different.

Get close to him today and your relationship With God will be stable
