28 THE PROCESS

Jeremiah 18:1-4

The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,

Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

We are placed into the potter's hand to shape and form into his likeness. Just like how gold goes through the process from a rough-looking object to a beautiful gem, so, we as children of God through the process.

Each step of the process that we go through is ordered by God. He knows exactly what He wants us to look like.

God takes us through the process so that we can get rid of our pride that is so dangerous to our spiritual health.

He takes us through the process so that we can depend on God and his words where he purges us and cleanse us from all impurity, from all carnal nature, from our self well.

I could not understand the process that I was going through, I would cry day and night for God to take me out, But He reminds me that the process is what allows me to testify to somebody of God's goodness and grace. The process is my lesson; it is my stepping stone to go in-depth in God.

Every Child of God has to go through some processes to become all that God intends. God offers to make the process rewarding and fulfilling for us. He has a purpose for the process: and He declared it in Jeremiah 29:11-For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

When we are going through the process the fire might get hot at times, sometimes we think it is unbearable. But the fire is what strengthens us vessels of God.

1 Peter 1:7 tells us that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it is tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

We all find ourselves in the process one way or the other, we are be strengthen as we go through it and our spirit is being renewed. Just rest assured that God, the potter is doing His work in us and He will complete the process.

Rest assured that as we go through the process God is right there with us and He gave us His promises.
