7 Was he a dream...?

Next morning Minsuh woke up with a sore throat.

She looked around the room to find it empty. She assumed Lisa must be wandering somewhere in the hotel.

As she got up to get a glass of water from the side table.

Her mind travelled back to what happened yesterday..

...the more she wondered, the more she got frustrated as she didn't remember walking back to the hotel.

All she remembered was the vivid memory of her being locked in a dark room and fainting due to anxiety.

After that what happened? She placed the glass down and started pacing around the room.

She recalled someone opening the door and carrying her.

At that time she felt she was finally safe...even tho it could have been anyone with bad intention...luckily it wasn't!

She was placed down from her safe place and after that...? She didn't remember anything.

After refreshing up she went out to look for her classmates.

To be honest, she was never really close to any of them except Lisa but she had fun with them yesterday...So they aren't that bad...too bad it was her last year in college.

-

She entered the common hall which she felt like was now owned by her class as she always found them scatterred there.

They were all having breakfast.

Their chattering came to a halt when they saw Minsuh. They all gave glances to each other as she awkwardly walked towards the table she earlier spotted Lisa at.

She sat down with Lisa, Doo Sik and two other classmates.

"You're finally awake after your LONG nap" Lisa smiled at her.

"Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I didn't want to disturb you...you must have been tired my sleepy bear" Lisa smiled cheekily, ruffling Minsuh's hair.

"Eeesh go get me food...I'm still sleepy"

She put her head on the table and gestured Lisa to go.

"You slept for 12 hours" Lisa mumbled, strolling towards the food counter.

-

"Why is everyone starting at me?" She asked the girl sitting next to her but Doo Sik answered, "That's because you slept in the maze and we got late because of you!"

"I slept?"

"Yes when we went inside to look for you. You were peacefully sleeping on one of the benches"

So after all, everything about man the man was just a dream...

...or was it?

After about 5 minutes, Lisa came back.

But she wasn't alone. Taeyong was walking along her, with plates in his hands.

"Can I sit here?" He asked, smiling at Minsuh.

"Duh dude it's a public place. You don't need her permission to sit anywhere. She doesn't own the hotel" Doo Sik uttered before Minsuh could even open her mouth.

Taeyong smiled and sat down on the chair in front of her.

-

While eating, she couldn't help but notice how he was not moving his left arm at all and would wince from time to time.

"Can you pass me the glass?"

She requested him, pointing towards the glass on his left.

He looked at her helplessly for a second and then raised his left hand from his side to reach the glass

That's when she noticed a wound on Taeyong's hand. A long burn scar going up his sleeves.

"What happened to your hand?"

He quickly retreated his hand under the table as he heard her question.

Shit

"Looks like you got in a car accident."

"Huh? No, I fell in the bathroom."

"But that's not a wound you get when you slip in the bathroom!"

"Nevertheless, let me pay back and treat your hand"

"No, its fine"

She was about to argue back but her words got stuck in her throat as she her head was pushed to the side by Lisa, who was till now listening quietly.

"Look Jihyuk!" she whispered yelled in Minsuh's ear.

Minsuh squinted her eyes as she spotted two tall figures not too far away.

"The elevator guy." She mumbled.

"Yeah, he is Jihyuk" Lisa nodded her head.

Taeyong looked confusedly at the girls and followed their gaze to the entrance of the hall.

His eyes widened seeing them but he quickly took a hold of his emotions.

He abruptly got up and excused himself to go for an urgent call.

He stood up and went to the opposite direction while covering half of his face.

"Weird."

Minsuh stared at him leaving.

"Did I offend him by pointing out his injury?"

She was too engaged in watching Taeyong run away that she didn't noticed the two men were already standing beside her.

Jihyuk cleared his throat to grab her attention.

"Hello" he cutely waved at them both before taking out a seat for his hyung (used to address older brother/ to show respect )

and they each took a seat in front of her.

"Excuse me, someone's already sitting here" Minsuh asserted to the elevator guy 'jihyuk'.

He seemed unbothered as he took a piece of bread from her plate, completely ignoring her.

"Hey!"

Lisa fake laughed awkwardly to redeem the uncomfortable environment.

"I heard you met Jihyuk already, he's a very sweet guy and his ...uh friend also..."

She tried to find some good words for the man beside Jihyuk but all she could think of was "hot serial killer."

At this moment, she wondered what was wrong with her brain.

"Hah sweet? And....him?" Minsuh replied to Lisa through gritted teeth but all this time, her eyes were scowling at the man in front of her.

Lisa looked at Minsuh and the guy, both too busy in a glaring concert, shooting sharp and deadly glares to each other.

Minsuh's glaring was obviously fake and the guy.....well, it seemed that's just how he looked at people.

She then looked down, too scared of his deadly aura.
