17 The Presidential Suite

Gordon and Charlotte were alone now. Charlotte was still wandering the room.

Gordon had ordered room service earlier since they hadn't had dinner yet. The waiters brought everything in, set up for them, and left quickly.

Gordon pulled Charlotte over and helped her sit down beside him on the sofa.

"Here, Charlotte. Let's eat." Gordon said.

She blinked at him several times.

"Gordon, am I drunk?" She asked in an innocent voice.

"Yes Sweetheart." He said gently.

"Did I do anything to embarrass you?"

"No. Everything is fine." He assured her.

Gordon placed a plate of food in front of her.

"Here, eat this." Gordon commanded.

She again blinked at him as though half asleep.

"I just want to eat you." She said, suddenly throwing herself in his arms.

"Charlotte—" Gordon began but was cut off by Charlotte's passionate, if not a bit sloppy, kiss. She crawled into his lap and ran her fingers threw his hair and continued to kiss him. Gordon was absolutely stunned.

She had never initiated such a kiss before and it was about to blow his mind. She had ignited a fire in him that only she could quench. He carried her to the bed and pressed down on top of her. He grabbed her hands and pulled them above her head and leaned down to kiss her.

"No, want to touch you." She mumbled. He let go of her hands and she pulled at his shirt. He tossed his shirt aside, understanding her intent. She ran her hands across his chest then in circles across his defined muscles.

"Like what you see?" He asked dryly.

"Mmmhmmm." She smiled and pulled him down to kiss him again. He happily obliged her, his hands moving up and down her body while her hands ran through his black hair.

Gordon was on fire. He kissed her deeply, pushing his tongue in her mouth, then moving his lips to her ears and neck.

"Oh Gordon!" She moaned, her fingernails digging into his back.

He was about to lose control and go all the way but in the back of his head he could hear her voice from the other day when she had stopped him, saying she wanted to be married first.

It took every once of willpower and then some to restrain himself. He pulled away and looked down at her smiling face. She's going to be the death of me, he couldn't help but think.

Charlotte was trying to pull him back down but he stopped her.

"Charlotte, we have to stop." He told her.

"Why? I don't want to stop!" Charlotte cried.

"You'll feel differently about it in the morning." He insisted.

"No, please don't stop. I just want to be with you." She insisted.

He knew it was the alcohol talking, taking her inhibition. He loved her too much to allow her first time to be under the influence of wine. When they had sex for the first time he wanted her wide awake and willing. As hard as it was for him to stop he knew he had to for her sake.

"Come on, Sweetheart. Let's finish dinner and go to bed." He got up.

She looked up at him from the bed.

"Did I do it wrong? You didn't like it." She sounded so sad.

He sat down beside her and pulled her close.

"Sweetheart, you didn't do it wrong. You can seduce me very well. But I promised you we'd wait until we were married before we have sex. In the morning you'll be glad we didn't do this." Gordon explained, even while his body wanted to take her right then.

She looked into his eyes, trying to focus.

"You're so good to me, Gordon. I love you so." She said in a soft voice, burying herself against his chest.

"I'm so tired, Gordon. Will you hold me while I fall asleep?" She asked.

"Of course." He whispered. He pulled back the thick quilt and placed her underneath. He crawled up beside her. She curled into his arms, squirming around. She was torturing him!

"Don't move." He commanded. She settled down and soon fell asleep. He hugged her tightly.

He thought back over the night and still felt anger about seeing Wendell Chung trying to take Charlotte away. It wasn't enough that he had been beaten. Gordon decided right then that he would buy all the shares of Wendell's business and remove him as the CEO. Let that be a lesson to any man who dared make a move on his woman!

His woman. He also decided right then that Charlotte was not allowed to drink alcohol unless he was with her. He wouldn't risk her being in this situation again.

Charlotte moved in her sleep and he looked down at her and smiled. He loved having her in his arms while he fell asleep. She looked so innocent and pure as a lotus blossom. He swore no one could move him as she could.
