6 Deal

The next day, Lucy and Theodore walk through Taipei airport. Their eye scans their surroundings as they walked past by many guards, Theodore noticed the headlines of the news streamed on the flat screens, both of them were all over the news and wanted for their actions.

Police are hunting nationwide for them and they even put a huge bounty on their heads not knowing the danger he and Lucy could bring upon those curious people.

But no one noticed them, because they don't look the same anymore. Theodore shrank his height an inch lower, he now has wild brown hair instead of black, his eyes are oceanic blue. He wore a blue shirt and maroon jeans.

Lucy now has long black and straight hair, as of now she isn't capable of changing her eye color, so she dons black sunglasses, to hide her eyes. Her choice of clothing is a sexy short black dress, with a pair of matching black heels.

"Dragging the police isn't a good idea." Theodore told her as they strides through the terminal building.

"It's the most efficient and the fastest way to get to packets." Lucy told him and then fetched her phone from her purse, and dialed a number as they headed for customs.

While she was busy with that, he grabbed two passports and two first-class tickets from his back pocket, one was Lucy's and the other one is some random guy's he stole right under his nose, and by the way, the tickets are also fake.

He hands Lucy's passport first and her ticket first, the customs officer's eyes glazed over the second he grabbed the two contents.

As if possessed by a ghost the officer picks up the stamp and stamped Lucy's ticket, he robotically handed Theodore the passport and the ticket. Theodore handed the stolen passport and the ticket to the officer he was controlling, after the officer stamped his ticket, he released his hold off the officer and left the place with Lucy who followed closely as she talked with Del Rio aka Amr Waked, on the phone.

[On the plane]

Unlike the movie Theodore chooses to go with the first-class seats for several reasons, first, they will be getting their own compartment with a sliding door that means they will have privacy.

Secondly, in the movie, Lucy literally started to disintegrate and she caused a huge scene, but now she is protected from the prying eyes behind the sliding door.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE ARE NOW BEGINNING OUR DESCENT TO PARIS. ALL ELECTRONIC DEVICES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF.

A message crackles over the speakers. Theodore put the laptop aside and sank back into his seat and closed his eyes.

[What should I do now?] He questioned himself, he won't be following Lucy like a pet dog. He has no wish to tag along with her as it would bring a lot of unnecessary attention on him, unlike Lucy who is going to die in 24 hours and become an ethereal being, he will survive thanks to the rate at which his cells are adapting and evolving.

Humans are quick-witted, sharp-eyed, and perpetually dissatisfied. They craved power and wisdom for their own gratification.

If he selfishly chose to sacrifice himself[Let people experiment on him] for the betterment of human kind there is no doubt that his sacrifice would benefit billions, but will he do it? Hell Nah, mankind can go to hell for all he cares, he Guinea pig? Like that will ever happen, his life is his own, he will be the one to decide what he will do with it.

Following Lucy will no doubt put him in a difficult situation, unlike her who chose to sacrifice herself for the betterment of mankind he is going to use his knowledge for his own gratification, honestly once he exceeds 80% he will become pretty much like Dr. Manhattan, a literal God, or maybe more powerful he will be able to control all form of elements in the universe, atoms, matter, dark matter, magnetic force, gravitation force, time and space, antimatter, biomass, he will be able to control the very reality around him.

He will have so much power that soon all existence would Bow to him, but does he really wants to be seen as such an omnipotent figure?

Nope, Theodore's dissatisfied nature won't let him live a life like that, he sought a life of thrill and adventure, this new world has nothing that would provide those two, with powers like those he will be bored to death, just imagine playing Minecraft on creative mode, the first few hours or maybe days will be a blast but pretty soon you will get bored with it.

His line of thoughts came to a halt when he heard groans coming from Lucy's cabin. "Hey, you, okay?" He stood up and peered over his cabin door to check on her, he booked for adjacent seats so she sat right beside him.

"I now wish I didn't see that." He has many regrets in life but this is one is at a level of shit he can't describe with words, right before his eyes her body is literally falling to pieces! It was a scene that even horrors movies can't bring it to live on the big screen, the woman can barely control her body, each cell of her body seems to have a life of its own, her hands and hair are out of control, even her eyes start to wander across her face.

Theodore cringed inwardly before he pointed at her purse "Consume some C.P.H.4 it will halt the side effects for now." Some hope returned to her panic-stricken, she quickly took a handful of the powder & gulped it down with a mouthful of water.

Theodore sank back to his seat and exhaled a deep sigh. "That was some real cursed shit." He muttered underneath his breath.

While Lucy was recovering from her cursed state he grabbed a magazine and started to read it to cure his boredom or keep his mind at bay from recalling that scene.

An hour has passed, and in these 60 minutes he cooked up some ideas or more like future goals that he plans to accomplish. The first goal is to look for a way to travel dimension, dimensional travel is possible when his cerebral capacity reached 100% or maybe exceeds that, the second goal is to look for ways to strengthen his human body, he has read enough Marvel comics to know that power could be stripped away from its own wielder, so his first priority is to strengthen his body in case he loses them, the third goal is to look for anything or anyone that has supernatural powers he is going to basically rob those away from them or form an give an take relationship with them, lastly look for extraterrestrial life, mankind had discovered many impossible things but they have limited knowledge, an advanced civilization greater than humankind would no doubt provide him a treasure trove of new knowledge and deep understanding of the way a universe works.

"It stopped… Thank you." Lucy's voice snapped him out of his stupor. "Have you changed your mind?"

"No, I will not follow you. If I am going to die eventually, I will take my last breath in the arms of my loved ones." Theodore lied calmly.

"But you can benefit mankind, your contribution might be able to save billions." Lucy told him with a tone that her words make sense and she was right.

"No." He declined her offer.

"I think your idea of sharing knowledge with humankind is idiotic and could lead to great disaster in the future."

"I know what I am doing." Lucy snapped back.

"You have no idea about human mentality or their nature do you, sometimes we humans could be the kindest being in the world or the evilest and selfish beings. Mark my words you will regret your decision, and once you saw your flaw it will be too late to change the outcomes. At that time don't come running to me, I won't clean others people's shit."

"You don't care about others?"

"I only care for me and the things that intrigue me, the only thing that matters to me is my own survival." He replied without any emotions on his face.

"You are a cold-hearted man, Theodore Miller."

"I get that a lot."

"I will prove you wrong." Theodore laughed, it was filled with mockery and amusement. "Oh, we will see when the time comes."

"You can't punch me, girl, many tried and all of their efforts were futile. Some ended with broken bones and some comatose."

"You can read my surface thoughts?" Lucy asked when he mentioned her recent thoughts about punching him.

"You sound surprised? I can see and hear much more than your thoughts, Lucy. I can read your whole life like a book."

"I didn't give you permission to go through my memories." She told him with a cold threatening tone.

"You didn't, Lucy. I was curious." Theodore chuckled.

"Never do that again!"

"Do what?"

"Go through my mind."

"Relax, once this plane lands we will be on our separate ways. You won't ever see my face again." He picks up the wine bottle and poured a little amount in the glass, one of the benefits of booking a first-class seat is that beverages are already available at arm's length.

"Good Luck, on your escapade, Lucy." Theodore lips curved up just a little, he has a gut feeling that once Lucy store the knowledge of everything in that USB drive created by her, the whole world will go crazy for that knowledge, a war will break out soon and Lucy won't be able to do anything except watch the disaster brought upon the world by her.

In the movies it was shown that she was still alive after her body broke apart to dust, but Theodore knew better, both of their body is brimming with godly level of unknown energy, Lucy's body can not seem to handle the power, but his case is different, his cells are adapting to it at an incredible pace, and also it seems his regeneration is almost inhumane and out of the world, he scanned his body a few hours ago and noticed that the cells in his body are not entering it's usual programmed death system, & his body's healing capabilities has evolved beyond his understanding, it seems as long a single cell of his remains intact he would be able to regenerate his whole body from almost any anything, he has truly become an immortal being.

This is a rough guess though, even he isn't capable of unveiling the mysteries of his new powers and regeneration that could give wolverine run for his money.

But Lucy doesn't have these privileges, if her body that was containing that vast godly psychic energy breaks apart she won't retain all of her current powers because her whole being has transformed to this homogeneous matter, or a being made out of pure energy, each atom of her new form has a mind of its own, so it will be virtually impossible for her to control all of together, or interfere with the world physically.

If his hunch is right Lucy will only be able to manipulate electric and magnetic waves, she won't retain her telekinetic abilities or ability to alter and control matter at will, and on top of that she used up most of her power to create that USB drive, she won't be as strong as he will be if she ever managed to get a body to reside in.

‡What If he is right? What if my actions bring destruction to mankind?‡ He smirked when he read the surface thoughts of Lucy.

"Knowledge is the greatest weapon of mankind, it's a terrible burden, it may help your science buddy, but for others, it can become the terrible curse, we are selfish creatures, the world doesn't run on kindness and bullshit no Jutsu." Theodore thought to himself as he put on the sleep mask over his eyes and made himself comfortable in his seat, this is a six-hour-long flight so instead of wasting time arguing with Lucy and probably lose some of his brain cells on the way, the idea of getting some shut-eye sounds much more beneficial to him.

Once the plane landed in Paris, he fetched his Duffle bag filled with cash and left the airport without even saying a last goodbye to Lucy.

He has set his next destination; he is going to lay low in Cumbria a ceremonial & non-metropolitan county in North West England. The whole journey to the county, England by train, will take about 3 hours and thirty minutes.

He stayed in Paris for a week and in these seven days he made several preparations beforehand, first, he hacked into the government database and made a fresh identity for himself, next he opened several bank accounts anomalously with one made for official use and hoarded millions from various filthy rich people, finally, he got in touch with a broker and bought a nice two-story house with a large basement in the Lakeland district, the house lies in the southern part of the county, bordering the shallow Morecambe Bay of the Irish Sea to the south. The western part of the district, west of the River Winster and the northern Windermere (lake), is in the historic county of Lancashire. The eastern part of the district, including the Pennine uplands, Garsdale, Dentdale, and the area around Sedbergh, forms part of the Yorkshire Dales in the historic county of Yorkshire. The central part of the district, including Kendal, the administrative Centre, and largest town, is in the historic county of Westmorland.

When you enter the house through the front door, you will be greeted by a large foyer. The central area of the house is the airy and open living room adorned with beautiful eastern furniture and cushions that serve both as decorative and functional pieces.

One notable feature of this room's layout is the open concept. Nothing obstructs your view from the inside to the outdoor space giving a sense of limitless space. You can even enjoy your garden landscape anywhere inside the living room.

The room up the stairs is a spacious open space that can have multiple uses to meet the needs of the family. It emphasizes minimalism by featuring simple furniture and a basic color palette of light browns and whites giving the room some texture and an all-natural appeal.

And lastly, it has a basement, that is the best thing about the house. Once he moved into the house, he basically spend most of his time in his basement, remodeling it after his taste, the basement will be his lab, this is where he will tinker with different technologies and maybe create something jaw-dropping.

Five weeks passed like the wind and as he predicted the scientific world is going crazy over that USB drive filled with world-changing knowledge, secret agencies from all over the world have set their greedy little eyes on it.

Political Leaders of many powerful countries are at each other throats, they are acting like imbecile brats. The condition will only worsen if the United States doesn't share the knowledge with others, and there is a possibility that a full-blown Nuclear war would break out, that is the speculation of the United States current president, but Theodore knew better.

Nuclear war is going to happen for sure, Theodore has seen the bloody future, and humanity is going to suffer greatly. The aftermath of the nuclear war would cause firestorms, a nuclear winter, widespread radiation sickness from fallout, and permanent loss of much modern technology due to electromagnetic pulses, also 80% of life will be completely wiped out from the face of this world.

He has been keeping his eyes on the leaders of every country, and just as he predicted several countries threatened the U.S. with nuclear war, Russia and China are one such country. Lucy's actions have fucked the whole balance of the earth and its hierarchy.

He can stop the whole mess, he has unlocked 100% of his brain capabilities without the loss of his body and his emotions, yes his emotions are heavily suppressed but he is capable of showing emotions and even enjoy little things of life.

Right now he can manipulate the time of an object or he can move through certain stages of timelines, space, matter, anti-matter, atoms, gamma rays, all elements, he can absorb and manipulate any form of energy & discharge it with a thought, he can drain & absorb the life force of any living beings, he can shapeshift to anyone, he can manipulate strong gravitational force, and magnetic force at a much higher level than that of movie Magneto, he can wrap the reality around him by manipulating matter and the anti-matter, he can create almost anything, even creation of a living body is in his grasp, that drug made him a literal God, he could end the dog fight with a snap of his fingers but he doesn't feel the need to stop it.

Earth will be fucked in 190 years, a meteor, the size of earth's moon is hurtling across the galaxy and its target is Earth.

They are basically screwed from every angle, even if he stops the damn thing, which he is capable of. He noticed another problem and that is, the sun has almost run out of hydrogen, and 700 years from now the earth will get too hot to handle.

At 750 years, Earth's atmosphere will get stripped away. Oceans will evaporate. For a while, the earth will look something like Venus, locked in a choking, carbon dioxide atmosphere.

And then it gets worse.

At 800 years, in the final stages of hydrogen fusion, the sun will swell and swell, becoming distorted & bloated — and red. The red giant sun will consume Mercury and Venus for sure.

There is a 0.2% chance that the sun might or might not spare Earth, depending on exactly how large it gets. If the sun's distended atmosphere does reach the world, Earth will dissolve in less than a day.

But even if the sun's expansion stops short, it won't be pretty for Earth. The extreme energies emitted by the sun will be intense enough to vaporize rocks, leaving behind nothing more than the dense iron core of the planet.

Humans are meant to perish in this universe, it's an inevitable event, no one can stop it from happening, not even him.

He can transfer the hydrogen gases from the four giant gaseous planets in the solar system—Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune— which are also mainly formed out of hydrogen. But it's so little that it won't make a difference, sun's diameter is 109 times bigger than the diameter of the earth, the huge fiery star will burn the hydrogen fuel in a matter of several milliseconds.

And there's a possibility that these imbeciles will stop their idiotic banters and ally together to save humanity from the inevitable destruction in near future. Maybe Lucy will lend a hand, as for him.

He will remain as an observer, he will observe from the bystander.

What a messy situation he found himself in, Theodore thought to himself as he threw an exact replica of Starks arc reactor in a box filled with different trinkets that he made in this month, the amount of knowledge he had accumulated is enough to create wonderful things one such thing is the arc reactor, if he started to explain the workings behind the reactor then it would take quite the time to explain it, but it basically works when the fusion reaction occurs, when the fuel (two types, or isotopes, of hydrogen known as deuterium and tritium) combines to form a super-hot plasma which produces, alongside the helium, neutrons which have a huge amount of kinetic energy. 

This is how Tony was able to power his suit, the man is simply genius for coming up with something like this, well most of the work has been done by his father but Tony brought it to reality.

With the amount of power, he has in grasp things like this are child's play, his next course of action is to recreate Pym particles and super-soldier serum. Pym particles are much easier to create but the serum he has no idea.

"SCREECH!!!" "STATIC SOUNDS" Theodore visibly flinched when loud screeching sounds boomed from the speakers plugged into his computer, the screen started to glitch and an outline of a woman appeared on the screen.

"Theo… Theodore." The voice almost felt like it's alive, and that emotionless and inhumane tone, creeped him out.

"What do you want Lucy?" Alarmed by her sudden appearance he stood up from the floor and sat before his computer.

"We swore that we will not interfere with other's life, why are you here?"

"You have to help me."

"I told you, didn't I? I will not clean your shit, go find someone else."

"The professor is dead…" She informed him about the old man's death instead of giving him a proper explanation.

"Do I look like I care?" Theodore gave a neutral reply. "Don't you have any heart?" Theodore laughed at her comment.

"Heart? I only saw him once, so you are saying a single meeting would create some sympathy in my heart for a dead stranger? And by the way, my heart is still intact, unlike someone."

"You are a cold man!"

"And you are an insane woman, how many times have I warned you. Mankind is not ready for your shit, your foolishness had cursed this world towards utter destruction, go clean your shit by yourself and stay out of my life."

"I know what I did is a huge mistake, and I regret every moment of it. So please, I'm begging you to help me. It's taking a lot of energy just to contact you, I am completely helpless and in a dark place, Theo!" Her voice sounds desperate.

"Lucy, even if I help you clean the shit. The world is going to kick the bucket on 31-09-219*, at exactly 3:12 pm, the whole world will go kaboom."

"What are you talking about?"

"A meteor, the size of the moon is heading towards us." Theodore revealed the truth. "Humankind's extinction is inevitable, you can't stop it. They can either kill each other or get hit by a world-ending asteroid." He chuckled in amusement.

"You looked in the future?"

"I did, and also our sun is dying, you know what that means, insane woman?" He heard her groaning. "Don't call me that." Theodore ignored her.

"If you don't want to help, then can you create a vessel for me? A body that could handle my power?" Lucy requested.

"Well, you could have done it by itself, when your body was still intact, right?" Theodore pointed out. "I could have, but it wouldn't last long." She told him.

"Then what gave you the idea that I will be able to make you a body that could handle your powers?" He asked with just the hint of a smile.

"You are much more knowledgeable than I am, you who have the ability to peek in the future and the past, so you can get rid of any flaws while in the process of creating it, you can achieve it with ease and you seem completely fine to me."

"I appreciate the praise, dear Lucy. But the perfect vessel you are looking for is an impossible goal right at this moment, you need an immortal body to contain that much psi-energy and I am not stupid enough to use my own cells for that purpose, your craziness might exceed after I create the perfect body for you." Theodore rudely told her.

"I will do anything, please." She begged. "How about this? Find me something intriguing and I will create the perfect body for you. But you have to abide by a rule and that is you can never say no to my wishes."

"You want me to be your slave?"

"Ah, you don't have to worry about your being, I am a righteous man, I will not demand something vile, or outrageous." Theodore replied calmly.

"So do we have a deal?"

"You sound like the red-horned man in movies." Lucy told him. "If you want me to be the bad guy, I'll be the bad guy. If you want me to be the good guy, I'll be the good guy, but I have no problems being both. Sometimes it's better to be the bad guy, than the Messiah." Theodore glanced into the webcam with disinterest, he knows she can see him through it.

"We have a deal." The next second the screen stopped glitching and finally, peace has returned to the room.

"World doesn't run on kindness and righteousness. You just saw the trailer, the real movie will start in a few months." Theodore broke into a fit of laughter, he has seen the future, the end of mankind will not be the asteroid or the sun's destruction.

The humans will slaughter each other, they will become the doom that will end their own race.

He has seen many possibilities, in some, he would help mankind, in some, he dons on the role of the evil villain that will force all of humanity to come together and progress their technology to defeat him and the disasters that wait for them, they won't be able to beat his arse but the huge breakthrough in technology will lead them to discover new universe to settle in, in most possibilities he creates Lucy the perfect body and Lucy will try to help them but the greedy leaders would betray her, they will use Lucy's kindness for their very own survivability and use her weapons against her, that one mistake would drive her to become knock-off Thanos 2.0 and she would literally erase all life from the face of the world, and last but not least, after the nuclear war the radiation would cause destruction of the environment, and it would continue to worsen at ever-increasing speed to the point where the surface of the planet will be hopelessly polluted.

The sky will always be hidden behind a black smog. Thick, toxic fog frequently will cover the cities, so almost no one can go out without wearing a gas mask beforehand.

With nature almost completely destroyed, the practice of traditional farming, which depended on two things, rainwater and sunlight, declined, and all vegetables and grains will be cultivated in domes.

The price of food inevitably soared, to the point that raw fruits and vegetables became luxury goods that ordinary people couldn't get their hands on.

A gallon of freshwater would cost $100-$200 US dollars, 20L of oxygen tank will go for between $500 to $1K US dollars.

This bunch of greedy old men will doom the fate of their future generation for sure, he could stop all of this mess but as he said earlier he doesn't clean other's shit.

One thing Lucy was right about him, that is, after that drug entered his system, he has become a cold and apathetic man, he can end the whole ordeal with a snap of his fingers, but seeing grown-ass adults act like idiotic kids is amusing and entertaining.

Unlike most possibilities he chose a different approach this time, she will have to pay the price if she wanted to live. Theodore never had an interest in the dying planet that's why he never went on his own to look for anomalies, but now that he gave it some thought he was indeed a fool for ignoring something this important, what if the legends were true, what if things like Excalibur & other artifact are real, what if there are more secrets to this world than he never bothered to discover.

Lucy is going to be that person, since she is everywhere she will be collecting shit tons of information about the current world, she is just like an A.I but with awareness. She will be his information broker, and he will make great use of her ability.

As his powers grew, his awareness expanded. He could sense the bands of space, an ever-growing range of dimensions, each a glittering string to be plucked and played with. The strings spread like an endless web through the stars, wormholes linking all time and space. They could be accessed at his will, that's why he wasn't even bothered by the upcoming doom, he can just hop through dimension and settle into a whole new world of wonders.

"I wonder if the fictional worlds of DC and Marvel are real?" He wondered, if a movie like Lucy became a reality then anything is possible.
