Project Vanguard was created by a diverse group of rouge Celestials who had enough of running and hiding in the shadows and instead decided to unite and fight together, dedicated to maintaining equilibrium and combating the misuse of Celestial powers. Amidst all the chaos, a mysterious entity lurked in the background, seeking to exploit the unknown power of Celestials for their own nefarious purposes. Pulling all the strings from afar and managing all the workings from the shadows, this entity sought to eliminate Project Vanguard from the face of the planet; the only thing that stood between them and complete global domination.
