WATER

Cuifen's POV

I woke up due to sun rays fell on me and when I opened my eyes I saw a cute letter with biscuits and tea on the side table saying 'you woke up cookie this breakfast for you, I'll be coming back till lunch.'

It was 10am which means he'll be coming back till 12pm I should hurry and make lunch I did my morning routine had breakfast that Deming made for me and went to kitchen. I was greeted by maids there one of them asked me for lunch I got annoyed still asked sweetly because it's not their mistake "didn't sir told you that I will make lunch?" She smiled and replied "he did ma'am, but he asked us to make lunch and let you know about the kitchen before dinner, so you can cook dinner for both of you" I was relieved still asked her another question "what do you mean by 'you both' where will you all eat?" She replied, "Ma'am, we usually go to our places by 8pm and eat with our families." "If that's the case it's ok, and from now whenever you need some help tell me" She smiled and thanked me.

Deming's POV

It was 4am I woke up and started doing my daily routine, suddenly I got a call from laboratory I picked up the call it was security "sir can you please come as soon as possible?" I got tensed and asked, "is everything ok?" He replied tensed "sir I don't know just come fast" I hung up the call and left as soon as possible after asking my maids to do certain tasks and left with in 10 mins.

I reached laboratory and met with bad news that the 1st patient died on whom we tested our syringe illegally, government didn't give us right on human testing, but we did on this old man without telling anyone and now his body is nowhere to be found only some ashes on bed I asked security "where did the patient go?" he replied "since yesterday he didn't wake up, and today I found this" I nodded and asked him to leave.

After he left I collected and took them to lab after few tests I found some different kind of virus different from the one in my body and syringe, I immediately understood everything if this virus will enter any healthy person's body they will be protected from all kinds of problems but at the same time if it gets into body of an unhealthy person even if the person have cold he/she can die. It is obviously more good than a bad news we can give this vaccine to a newborn baby, I was happy and suddenly while keeping back the vaccine I dropped few drops into drinking water I was worried what if someone with cold will drink it the person might get effected, so I decided to drown that water in sink, but my phone rang, I saw my chilli potato calling I left the glass there and immediately left the lab because I was late.

Cuifen's POV

I am calling him since 15 mins, and he isn't picking up, let him come back home I'll teach him a lesson. Meanwhile, I saw main gate opening, and it was Deming I didn't even take a fine minute and asked him "where have you been?"

"Nowhere" he replied, I can read all the tension on his face, but I knew he won't tell me because I am an overthinker, so I decided to let it be and do lunch.

I went to dinning room for food, I saw Deming with his food waiting for me to come I took my plate and sat next to him, we both started eating and didn't utter even a single word.

After having lunch I went to bedroom and was thinking how to make him smile again but after 5 mins he came I didn't think what to do or say I just went to him and said "I love you" and he hugged me and said "I know you do, and I love you more but babe this is something I can't share with other teammates." I nodded and gave a small smile, he then went towards bed and said, "I'll have a nap till 5pm." I nodded and went to do other household chores.
