5 THE BAR

Cuifen pov

We were between the meeting I knew meeting doesn't carry anything important for me, so I was in my own world again, suddenly my boss said Ms.Cuifen I got shocked and stood up straight, all started starring me; my boss asked "is it fine with you?" I blinked my eyes and asked, "what, sir?" He rolled his eyes and replied irritated "working in special team for our scientists?" without thinking I replied "yes sir" And sat down regretting my life because I remember last time people who went on special project like this were fired or caught the virus though it wasn't deadly but who knows what will happen this time.

I thought of paying some attention towards meeting after being in team without even thinking, the boy who was telling about project said "the project name is Jade because this syringe is by made from Mr. Deming's blood as you all know his speciality and the virus we are using this time could be deadly too, but we will take all the precautions and preventions to protect each one of you" Just after listening the word 'deadly' my world turned upside down I started counting my last days, at last he said "we can start the project tomorrow so let's meet at factory thank you for your time and attention." And meeting ended.

There were 12 people in this project including me, and we were called 12 spades, OMG why 12 spades, and who got this idea? Are we mere cards to play for winning or losing? Furthermore, I don't want to be known as queen of spades, but you know what; I am not god's favourite I was made the leader of my team and my members called me queen of spades curse this life.

After finishing my worst day at office I went to bar to have some drinks, yes I was frustrated and going nuts I was feeling like it's my last day on this planet as a normal human. I went straight to the bar and ordered 1 glass of whisky.

I have really low tolerance so if I'll drink a whole damn bottle I might end up in hospital, and you know what I would like to live there until this project gets over so without thinking anything I started drinking whisky I got it refilled again and again and after sometimes I lost my conscious and didn't remember what happened next.

Deming POV

I was sitting in bar all by myself, suddenly I saw a familiar face that flicker girl, and she was coming towards me, but she wasn't in her senses and I can smell some problem coming. She came towards me and hugged me tight and whispered in my ears "hey you flicker boy I can die tomorrow because of your bloody plan, can you please fulfil my last wish?" I wasn't thinking straight that time and I just said "yes" She kissed me; I was shocked it was my 1st kiss, and maybe I am her 1st too. I don't know what, but I kissed her back and after 2 minutes we parted she then demanded "ride me please" so I took her to my car and as soon as she sat in my car she slept. Not only that, but I didn't know her address so as a gentleman I took her to my home I carried her in bridal style to my home, and suddenly she woke up and vomited. I was cursing myself at that moment and wanted to cry hard she vomited on herself in my bedroom but thank god one of my maid was awake I asked her to clean my room and change her clothes I gave her some of my oversized t-shirts; after an hour or so maid came to me and said "sir I have changed her clothes, you can go to your room now." I nodded, and she left.

Likewise, I went to my room, she was sleeping peacefully moon rays were shinning all over her. She was looking like a fairy wearing moon rays as her clothes I went close to her, seeing her peacefully asleep I left her and went to other room to sleep.

Next morning as usual I woke up at 4 am and went to my bedroom. I was shirt less and straight went to my closet and opened to find a jacket, suddenly I heard a scream from behind I saw the girl was up. I wished her good morning and instead of a warm good morning I received a pillow on my face, she shouted "you jerk how dare you bring me to your place and then change my clothes and if that wasn't enough you slept with me don't you have any mother or sister"?
