6 Chapter 5
“Wow,” she could not avoid being surprise when they finally entered the academy.
She was so amazed to see the towering three storied building in front of her. There is an Immensus Officio Administrationem posted at the top of the building. It has black satin glass windows from its first floor up to its last floor.
She almost choked from her own saliva because of what she is seeing. Immensus Academy is one of those elite schools, its structure is so nice and standard.
On the first floor on the left side is the registrar’s area, on the right side is the office facultate gaudet and on the central side of this building is the wide entrance into the campus.
“I think you need to head to the registrar area first for your schedules, ID and dorm number Ms. Samonte,” Kiss said who is right behind her. Watching her being amazed on what she was seeing since earlier.
It was because she was walking straight to the entrance of the campus so Kiss reminded her. She immediately realized what she had done so she just shook her head and ran to the registrar area.
Kiss just smiled at it following her by his gaze.
A smiling woman of little stature came out of the glass window and invited her to come inside. The woman asks her to sit on the chair in front of her table.
The woman turned around at her table. She approached the large locker that was just on the side of her table and began to rummage.
“You’re?” The woman asked Kia.
“Kianna Samonte Ma’am.” She answered with a little smile in her lips.
The woman nodded at her while its attention is still on the documents she was looking for.
“New Student?” She asked again. The woman paused for a moment then went back to what she was doing.
“Yes maam, a Scholar.”
“Oh?”
The woman was surprised that it stop again. This time it was standing upright in front of her and raised an eyebrow.
“What rank?”
Kianna frowned. What rank does she ask?
“Ra-rank?”
It nodded at her. She felt nervous because she had no idea in the rank it was asking her. Her father only instructed her to say she was a scholar, there’s no other information regarding how and why she became a scholar, her father told her nothing, something she regrets now why she didn’t ask.
“Geez. That old man,” She was annoyed with the fact that her father had sent her here to torture her even more. He should have told her everything.
“Rank 1 maam Chavez,” said of a baritone voice.
At the same time, the two turned to the man who suddenly interrupted them. Kianna's eyebrows met even more as the man is unfamiliar with her.
“She’s Kianna Samonte, A fresher who got the rank 1 in the entrance examination and got rank 1 in the IA Scholar spot, isn’t she’s amazing?” the man said in amazement.
Kianna just shook her head, she didn’t expect that her father would listed her as a rank 1. This would make everyone’s attention to focus on her.
‘Damn that old man’
Miss Chavez's face was shocked because of what she heard. She was a bit rude earlier and she even raised an eyebrow at her knowing that she was just a scholar but who would have thought that she was a genius? A genius that is a priority of the Academy. She was silenced of what she realized. She composed herself and gave the man a sweet smile.
“Thank you for the information Sir Galvez.” She Gently said.
“My pleasure maam Chavez,” the man smiled flirtatiously and even winked at Kia before finally leaving.
“So Ms. Samonte, you will be in Exitium building, Code 2F room, Dorm X2,” said Chavez as she typed on her computer.
Kia was just surprised by the quick action of the woman in front of her.
"Why didn't you tell me that you are the one who is famous in the office facultate gaudet?" The woman was still amazed at her so she can’t stop herself from asking Kia.
“Maam?” She asked confusingly.
“Nevermind. Anyway here’s are your schedules, room Code and Dorm key. Please be guided that after the orientation, you will be required to go to XXF Studio for your ID picture, here’s what you need to fill up,” she handed over the schedules one by one, key of her dorm and the small form it needs to fill out for her ID.
“You will have to wait for 30 minutes before you get your ID so while waiting, you can also do your measurement for your uniform. Same room, the office for measurements was just across the door.”
Kia just nodded at her.
“Anyway Im Marizze Chavez, Registrar Zero F of IA, welcome to the academy miss Samonte.” The woman said with a sweet smile.
After the meeting earlier with the registrar, Kiss quickly took her to the IA Gymnasium for the Orientation, they also took her belongings and the key to her dorm for them to take her things to her room.
She were a few minutes late due to a long incident inside the registrar earlier but fortunately it was still in the speaker's introduction.
“Again Welcome Freshmen’s and transferees. Also for those old student, welcome back to school young folks. So today’s orientation, I would like to call Mr. Foires as to discussed the rules, policy and regulations of our school.”
Everyone clapped except for her who had just arrived and was still busy looking for a seat.
“Hey miss.”
Someone’s trying to call Kia’s attention. It was a chubby young girl wearing a pink bunny hairband. When Kia didn't noticed, she just stood up in her chair and no rumor pulled Kia onto the empty seat beside her.
“What the,” Shocked, Kia almost smack the girl who had just pulled her.
“Shhh. Dean is speaking.” A chubby girl stopped Kia from making a noise.
Seeing what it means Kia just calmed down and focused her eyes on the front of the stage.
“Thank you sir. Good morning everyone.” Mr. Foires said.
“Good morning sir/dean” everyone said at the same time.
“You guys are full of energy. Everyone is excited I guess?”
Everyone shouted. Who wouldn't be excited if you had such a good school?
“I’m glad to know, don’t worry our Academy is not into traditional orientation so you won’t be here long.” The old students laughed hearing this.
“Well because there’s only 2 rules blaaa blaaaa.” said the chubby girl next to her
“What are you saying?” Kia turned her gaze to her.
The fat woman in front just pouted. She noticed the woman wearing a uniform, so she’s an old student.
“What year are you in?”
The fat woman turned its attention to her. Its forehead furrowed but when she realized that she was wearing a uniform, she scratched her head so hard and just smiled.
“Grade 11,” the chubby girl answered.
Kia nodded and looked back at the stage.
“The academy has only 2 rules. No one is allowed to interfere with internal affairs. What you see and what you hear, don’t interfere. As for the other rules, No one is allowed to go out on their rooms when 8 pm strike. The punishment will be severe once you abide these two rules, are we clear?” he said with emphasis on each words.
No one answered.
While all the new students felt strange but except for the old students, Kia was not surprised. She already knows it since that was included in the documents handed by the father to her regarding the academy.
“So everyone dismissed.”
Everyone left as if nothing had happened but the fat woman next to her just remained seated while eating.
‘Wait when did she start eating?’
She was about to ignore her and decided to leave when the woman spoke.
“Aren’t you interested with the punishment miss?” The chubby asked her eyes are lock on her chocolate she was eating.
“What is it?”
She grinned at her.
“S+. You will be a student of Special Section.” She said leaving Kia confused.
