1 Chapter 1- Booted

Head Professor and Archeologist aka Orbit and his assistant Deli are in the lab going through old files. Deli is mostly bored since the work they are doing is nothing new and exciting.

DELI- "Professor! When are we gonna have something new to do. We are archaeologist, not lab rats!"

DELI- "I joined the lab to go on a grand excavation"

PROFESSOR- "Deli indeed we are archaeologist. Our work is important. What's more important is our virtues. Such as Patience."

DELI- "Virtues Smirtues professor."

PROFESSOR- "A grand excavation." *laughs*

PROFESSOR- "How grand would that be."

THE DIGITAL SCREEN IN THE LAB TURNS ON. A MYSTERIOUS MAN IN SHADOWS APPEARS ON SCREEN.

MYSTERYMAN- "The famed Professor Orbit... with a lacky. Of all the stories I hear to now seeing of what looks washed up."

MYSTERYMAN- "I hear you are out of work these days. Bent up in a lab with no recent discoveries to call your own."

DELI- "You have some nerve addressing the professor that way! Saying that behind a screen makes you seem like nothing but a coward!"

MYSTERYMAN- "Professor I must admit your lacky has a bunch of spunk."

PROFESSOR- "Spunk indeed. Brains and patience, another story."

DELI- "Why you--!"

PROFESSOR- "A private line. You must be here of some importance."

MYSTERYMAN- "Indeed professor. I am here to enlighten you."

PROFESSOR- "Enlighten me?"

DELI- "How about to you enlighten us with who you are."

MYSTERYMAN- "My name is not important as the next piece of information I have for you is."

MYSTERYMAN- "I'll cut to it, Archaeologist. A unique power source began to show on my radar. SEFA Ruins. For now it is unexplained."

MYSTERYMAN- "As you two are out of work archaeologist, you should be jumping for joy."

DELI- "SEFA Ruins. Ancient Ruins. Still has been untouched to this day."

MYSTERYMAN- "Yes girl you are smarter than you look. Fate has shown me as matchmaker. Archeologist and a Ruin site. How romantic indeed."

DELI- "Professor please accept! This could be my first step on my way to become a famous archaeologist. We even could find this mystery source."

MYSTERYMAN- "I will leave you with coordinates and the tracking software. All is left to do Professor, is go get the prize. Will you accept?"

PROFESSOR- "Needing us to do your work seems fishy enough. But as an archaeologist the curiosity is calling."

MYSTERYMAN- "Good professor. Maybe this will put a spark back into your research."

MYSTERYMAN- "I will leave you both with luck and good regards. In SEFA Ruins, you will need it."

IN SEFA RUINS

They embark on their journey full of equipment and excitement. Professor Orbit and Deli land in a helicopter at the base of the ruin and begin to walk the trail to go deeper in the mountains.

DELI- "Adventure. Adventure."

DELI- "Professor, don't you love the nature smell and the sound of the birds singing?"

PROFESSOR- "Of course"

PROFESSOR *in exhaustion*- "Would love it more if this radar pointed us in the right direction."

DELI- "SEFA Ruins is vast professor. We can't expect it to be so easy."

DELI- "Professor, your biggest expedition. You've never told me what it was."

DELI- "I've always wanted to find a special treasure. One that I'll remember for the remainder of my days. Something to be close to my heart."

PROFESSOR- "Every expedition is always a new adventure Deli. Expectations can be your best or your worst enemy."

THE RADAR BEEPS LOUD

PROFESSOR- "There! We got a hit on the energy source."

THE RADAR LOCKS IN

PROFESSOR- "3 more kilometers! Deli we may as well break ourselves down and make stew. Continue our exploration after we fill our bellies."

DELI- "Ill fire the grill sir."

PROFESSOR- "Aye!"

The professor begins to gather wood while deli gathers vegetables and meat. They finish setting the meal and begin to eat.

DELI- "Say professor, these ruins. Have you heard stories of here before?"

PROFESSOR- "The ruins. SEFA Ruins. Named after SEFA. Synthetic Electronics For All. A company that has risen to be the lead electronics company in the world. Even backed by all big government. If these ruins were discovered by them.. Then they are sure to hold a big surprise"

DELI- "SEFA Ruins I have read about before. But to public knowledge it has been determined a complete mystery."

PROFESSOR- "Indeed Deli. I'm all finished up here.."

PROFESSOR- "Shall we rest?"

After the professor and Deli eat, the professor rest up against a tree and begins to nap.

DELI *in thought*- "Professor is asleep. I'll go for a walk."

Deli begins to walk deeper in the ruins. she gets to a river & trails along side it on her stroll.

DELI- *in thought* "Since i was a child, I've been a treasure hunter. The quest. The dig. The hunt is what its always been about. I'll never forget when i found my first locket. Treasure hunting is where my heart is."

DELI- "Hmph, ill make sure to find this treasure!"

While walking, a small rabbit walks up to Deli. It stares for a second and starts to sniff in the air.

DELI- "Ah! Hey!"

DELI- "I have some leftover veggies in my backpack for you little one."

She reaches into her bag and grabs a celery stick. The rabbit walks up a bit closer. Deli reaches her hand out with food. The rabbit gets closer. As he goes to bite the celery from Deli's hand, Deli notices the rabbit retreating.

DELI- "Hey. I have celery, why are you running away?"

The rabbit turns around and books as fast as it can. While Deli is talking and complaining about the rabbit running away, a large figure shadows behind her.

"DELI- I go through the trouble of going in my bag to get you celery and you high tail it on me! 😤"

The figures chest bumps into the back of Deli. Deli turns around and stares at a fur filled chest. she rises her head and looks up. The face of a leopard reveals and roars loudly and attempts a swipe at a ducking Deli. She turns, sparks a flare and drops it on the ground in front of the leopard. The leopard jumps back and she takes her chance to run. Back at where the Professor and Deli setup camp, the professor is putting his backpack and gear on.

PROFESSOR- "Deli is still gone. May as well go out to find her."

The Professor looks down the path Deli walked. He begins to see a cloud of dust kicking up at a fast pace. He squints at the path for a second look.

DELI- "Professor!!!!! You better get a move on!"

Deli is sprinting full speed ahead at the professor. The leopard is right behind her giving chase.

PROFESSOR- "What did you do! 😱"

She passes up the professor and he follows behind swiftly.

THE RADAR BEEPS LOUD

DELI- "Professor, the radar is picking up distinct energy about 50 steps ahead. We must be close to something big."

PROFESSOR- "Yes Deli I have also noticed. We shall approach!"

PROFESSOR- "Let's not get eaten!"

DELI- "I laugh in the face of danger professor." *begins sinister laugh*

DELI- "We're outta here!"

PROFESSOR- "Deli wait for an old man!"

Professor tails right after her as the leopard gives chase right behind them along with his pack.

DELI- "Professor! I think there's more!"

PROFESSOR- "Don't look back Deli! Get a move on!"

Up ahead Deli and the Professor run into a temple den which turns out to be a dead end. They turn and face the leopards.

DELI- "Well Professor, we have run out of space to run. My first excavation as an archaeologist ends in death! 😭"

Deli & the Professor both turn around. 3 leopards approaching them slow. They are cornered. They hug each other tight

DELI- "Age 17, never had a boyfriend, never even been on a date and now I will become leopard chow! 😭"

DELI *IN THOUGHT*- "I'll never be able find the greatest treasure 😭"

As they both inch back, Deli trips a switch that was sticking out of the ground

RADAR BEEPS LOUD

PROFESSOR- "The power source is churning. The source is right beneath our feet. That switch Deli. You found it!"

In between the archaeologist and the leopards, a capsule rises from the ground. a chamber latch unlocks releasing a lot of smoke only showing shadows of a dark figure.

DELI- "Professor what could it be?"

The Professor looks on as the figures eyes shine bright red.

MECHANI- "Mechani"

Mechani dashes out the chamber and lands a kick on the head leopard. Two other leopards pounce above him. From holding down the head leopard, Mechani turns and throws the head leopard into another on of the leopards. As the 3rd leopard closes in, Mechani lands a right handed blow. The Leopards let out whines and retreat at once. Deli & The Professor feast their eyes on Mechani.

DELI- "Did he say Mechani?"

The figure who is "Mechani" falls out as if he were unconscious. Deli and Professor Orbit stand over his body.

PROFESSOR- "Deli! We've done it! Our discovery! Our Treasure! He is our prize!"
