1 Detective Handbook

Page 1 line 1: P.D.'s are allowed to join any investigations as long as they are allowed to do whatever they want.

Page 1 line 2:If ever a P.D. joined an investigation, always do your best to hide them to the public. According to the vice president "the existence of prodigal detective must remain hidden and revealing it to someone without being authorized will result to imprisonment or death."

"P.D... prodigal detective huh."

I look around the place but it doesn't match what the note said, the note said that it is state of the art but here I am standing in front of an abandoned school on a quiet island.

As I wander around the place a man with eyeglasses probably in his 60's approach me and greet me with nice words.

'Thank you so much for the money'

Its not the time to think about the obvious bribery right now I have to know what the hell is this prodigal detective thing.

"Is this where the P.D. recruitment camp is being held?"

Damn, I totally ignored his greetings.

"Seems like the data about you are wrong, you're actually a pretty straightforward person."

"Yes, this is the place" He did a big sigh after saying his words, is he disappointed or something?

"Thank you for your help sir, I just find the description in the letter a little bit different."

I ignored him and head to the front door to hopefully find the 'state of the art' part of this place.

I walk the wooden path in front of me and the interior seems to be cleaner than what I thought a while ago.

I slid my finger through the wall to check if there is dust and yeah there is but only a few.

Weird...

In most buildings, there is always a path in the middle of the building but this place somewhat have a perpendicular interior.

I chose the path to the left and there I saw to what its look like Is a forensic team.

"Is this where the recruitment is being held?" I ask the guy wearing green gloves

"Yea its on the second floor." The guy said on a trembling voice

"Your voice is somewhat shaking sir, is everything alright?"

"Supposedly, but someone hit this guy with a stone."

I slowly shifted my left foot and try to look at the details.

The stone does have blood plus there is a trail of blood connecting it straight to the body's elbow to the stone, well that's weird. Its like someone spilled their blood or somebody moved the body. Ok let me explain this one.

The stone is half a meter away from the victims elbow, and never in a criminals history somebody just dropped the murder weapon beside the victim but actually it is possible that someone did drop the murder weapon but there are no traces of stone being dropped plus the wooden floor didn't even got a scratch.

"I think its not the stone that hit your friend." Well I mean if you're the rock then you may have killed this guy with just a fist sized stone with pointy edges.

"The hell do you mean?" Jeez his irritated yet curious

"There are no traces of the stone being dropped and in bonus if a human got hit by a stone, they are still capable of walking till their blood is gone."

"But you can also believe that your friend just stood there and wait for all his blood to come out."

And that's how the other guy interrupted us and convinced this guy to let me see the body.

I first checked the body's leg position, the right leg seemed to be crush meaning the culprit may have accidentally stepped on it or did it on purpose due to the stomach having inside meat coming out

Next is the head, While checking the mouth the damaged area caught my attention, the skin may have been pushed inside using the stone but the bruises are still visible it and it isn't shaped like a stone instead it is 5 centimeters away from where suppose to be the bleeding area. That just means that the stone isn't the real murder weapon.

"I've reached the conclusions of the stone isn't the murder weapon it is something long and most probably not stone made."

"How can you say that??" the guy that interrupted ask

"I can see the brain from where I checked him plus the bruises traces to 5 centimeters farther than the area from which the blood came out, I know that the blood pattern proved that the stone may have done it but the stone is used after using the long object."

I left the two guys speechless and respectfully told them that I'm leaving.

While walking on the stairs the eight stepped I noticed a drip of blood which made me think of me finally doing something useful after 15 years being alive.

I reached the room where the recruitment is held and I admit I don't know whether I should open this door or just wait for assistance.

I opened the door being greeted by 9 more teenagers, a doctor looking lady, a man wearing a suit and a soldier.

"Sorry I'm late."

"its okay Mr. Morton come in."

I sat in front a guy at the back left corner of the room near the window.

"Try setting an alarm clock sometimes." the guy muttered

I don't want to cause trouble so I just ignored it.

The soldier started talking about nonsense about us being secret detectives and rules about how we join a criminal case.

I pretend to listen but observing people other than me is more interesting.

2 girls acting friends and one of them looks like a cry baby.

One rich boy and one rich girl probably from rival families.

A delinquent behind me.

A guy who looks like he came from an ancient civilization.

Another girl who looks nice but judging by her looks she is somewhat a person who only care about fashion.

The guy on the side of the room is somewhat a social recluse like me but decided to sleep rather observe.

"There are other Prodigal detectives like you all over the world but still the numbers are still behind 200."

Lastly, the guy beside me is the culprit of the killing downstairs.

A bath with red dots and curved red lines plus his socks looking wet.

'Interesting'
