7 An Important Lesson

Anasthasia silently aimed at the dragon. Then watched the ground drenched with marshy waters, "It's been a while since I've hunted some dragons." She giggled and peered them with their eyebrows creased deeper than ever. "—You guys haven't done that?"

"Uh," Liam quipped, frantically glancing at the Prince. "We have done it in the past, but it was an infant dragon. It only rampaged through its raging emotions."

"That's true, and that's a full-grown dragon over there!" Levi adjusted his glasses. "That beasts lived long enough to experience thousands of battles!"

'Fair enough.' She nodded and crossed her arms.

"I'm confident though its strikes would be immense, deadly." Liam grunted. "Much unlike that of a fearful baby."

"So, what's the plan?" His grey eyes dawned sharply unto Anasthasia, who kept a smug on her face.

"Simple, you have to run as far as you can."

"What do you mean—?" Before Levi finished his line, he noticed how Anasthasia twisted her heel, snapped her fingers, and shot out a slow, yet tremendous fireball.

Liam shouted. "Run!" Three of them scurried away from the imminent danger in the fray.

It burned so brightly catching the dragon's attention resulting in a well-timed dodge. Beating its wings, the dragon broke the momentum of the spell as a growl shook the sky, which emerged from its being.

Amber eyes filled with rage as it glared menacingly at Anasthasia, which swooped at a rapid rate.

Anasthasia saw how the figure drawn bigger than ever with his mouth started to discharge dragon flames. Glanced beneath with twitched hands that gathered a large amount of water, she cast 'Geyser!' and aimed directly for its mouth. The initial blast of geyser collided with its fire approximately from the mouth of the dragon.

The dragon cried out of pain from the steam explosion forefront. With its stability compromised, she took her chances as her fingers danced. The giant ball of fire rattled, consumed into cluster bombs.

Despite the colossal figure, it twisted the body faster and blasted the incoming danger with a prominent dragon breath. A trade-off from the attack, which dragged him lower from the momentum.

Anasthasia pranced to the side; the arm swung to the side as she cast, 'Cataclysm!' The sudden protrusion of thorny pillars of rock welcomed the dragon's back. However, it reacted quite fast as he turned once more and blasted the spell with a powerful beat of its wings.

The gust of wind so strong that caused a sonic boom in the area— thrashed every debris to the side!

She smirked, cast 'Diamond Dust!' and a sudden formation of crystallized specks of dust fought against the debris's speed, thus creating a negation of opposite forces. The dignified woman twirled along with the intense blast of wind.

She landed with grace. Looked at the dragon flapping midair, eyes that craved with anguish and doom. She began to move with every stride that spewed thick mist.

'It is time for a surprise attack!'

Wings flapped once more to remove the mist but failed as it thickened every second. Nose flared with flames as it plunged with sharp claws towards the desired location. The impact caused an aftershock.

She jumped in midair, cast 'Ice Wall' to avoid the vibrations. She continued to prowl as she waited for the vigilant dragon.

Soon enough, its eyes noticed the peculiarity as it shifted, mouth ready to spew flames only to melt an ice scripture. Jerked turned its vision to see the boulders flurried in the distance. The dragon rendered with its claws, tail slammed the stones in smithereens. Consequently, a breath of fire fanned its way.

Remained hidden, She silently cast 'Frostbite!'

Nothing but conflagration in front of the dragon's eyes. Senses heightened, it noticed a small figure on its blindspot, which slashed the blob of gel with vicious claws. The gel splattered on its arm and howled as it seared with solidification.

Pillars of ice spawned from the ground and slowly ensnared its prominent figure. With quickness, the body slammed its way out and soared in midair once more. Frostbitten, it always hissed.

"Seemed like it's not worth the fight on the ground." Anasthasia shook his head, "Time for phase two!"

"Lady Anasthasia! Are you going to fly with that?!" Liam called out, competing against the strong gust of wind.

"We'll see about that." Anasthasia began to bend her knees. "But of course, I have bloomers. Don't worry!" Then she gusted onward, bravely approached the dragon's proximity. After she reached a certain height, she surveyed the destruction caused on the ground.

'Let's see how much energy you can give in this system as we drag this battle further!' Golden eyes glinted with enthusiasm, shivered as she ecstatically thought.

The dragon had gone mad, spewed a large amount of fire right in front of her. But not even the fierce flames can stop her as she cast 'Frozen Abyss!' The temperature plummeted, ultimately created liquid nitrogen and dry ice.

As expected, the mighty breath of flames turned frozen solid.

Anasthasia flailed her arm around, and sudden formation of snowflake platforms appeared throughout the area. She dropped herself on top of it and pranced to the next. The remainder turned out to be a barrage of ice shards launched their way towards its colossal figure.

Despite struggle in turbulence, the dragon slashed with claws, fluttered its enormous wings as a matter of evasion. But it barely managed to maneuver and leave unscathed among the thousands of ice shards that accurately aimed for his blindspots.

Crashed on the nearby platform, which imploded clouds of diamond dust that froze its forearms. Growled once more from the searing pain.

Enraged, it bashed its way towards her. She hopped to the next, avoided its head with ease. But it managed to slash its claws midair thus set forth an air burst which sent her flying. Fortunately, she stumbled across the next, albeit lower platform.

Things got too late when she bobbed up, saw the incoming stream of hot flames rained on her, she frantically fluttered as she looked back— nothing but water vapor!

'This is a tough one to crack as well!'

The fight went on as they traded blows, but the dragon fared worse. Every slash-cut deep on its flesh despite its hardened scales and the remaining parts also revealed cracks. Wings slightly tore but enough to survive a long flight.

Anasthasia glided amidst the hot chase, with every flames discharged and aimed her desired direction. As the dragon shortened the gap, she twitched her fingers and cast 'Fork Lightning!' with a fan of lightning branches scattered in the area. In turn, the tail slammed, which released an immense shockwave like a whip that snapped the heavens.

She twisted her body, ignited a boost of flame in her hands. This had tossed herself among the clouds. She gawked at the dragon that rose among the clouds in a graceful turn and opened its mouth.

She smirked and awaited the disaster. 'I know you'll use that once more.' A thick plate of ice coalesced right in front of her.

But she wasn't prepared when it coagulated a shade of blue on its mouth.

'I was tricked!'

This time around, the dragon set forth a stream of ice, fast enough to catch her legs. She winced in pain as she felt the frost burn. Most importantly, her movement was restricted by the clump of ice.

Anasthasia dove at a rapid rate; her ears assaulted by the buzzing winds. She saw how the dragon's figure continued to grow bigger, with its mouth wide open. Ready to devour her completely.

Not of these convulsed her with fear. Its stubborn nature deeply entertained her. She snapped her fingers as cold winds gathered near her.

Its large eyes rattled as it sensed the imminent danger from its presence.

'Tempest Howl!'

Vortex gradually formed a giant wall of the whirlwind. Her fingers waved, releasing a thick bolt of lightning. Zapped from the heavens forcefully penetrated the dragon, it let out a painful cry.

Though things were far from over.

'Blizzard!'

It continued to cry but slowly died out as chill winds assaulted its figure, rapidly cocooned into a block of thick ice. The poor dragon was trapped forever.

As Anasthasia drew closer to land, she released a gust of wind, causing her to somersault away from the area. Suspended in the air, she placed her hands on her hips.

She watched how the frozen dragon descended from the sky. It then caused a powerful impact, carving its way to the ground.

When Anasthasia noticed the disappearance of ice in her feet, she then landed safely. She flipped her hair as she looked towards the location of three men who hid carefully from a distance.

"You may come out now!" she sweetly called, "It's safe now!"

Liam shouted, "Lady Anasthasia, what the heck—"

"Listen, lesson 1!" Shove her hand in front of them to stop. "This is how you tame a dragon."
