The Graduation Party

Mari's Pov:

"Good Morning to me," I said to myself after I woke up. 'Today is an important day for me because it is my Graduation Day' I thought to myself. "I can't believe I'm graduating today. I am so excited as well as nervous right now. What do I do?" I was walking around my room anxiously and then thought I can go to my sister Ruby and talk to her so I can calm down a little, and that is what I did.

Narrator's Pov:

So, Mari went to Ruby's room or you can say she literally barged into Ruby's room.

[ A Few Moments Before]

Ruby's Pov:

'Ah, such a nice morning, time to take a nice warm shower' I thought to myself before Mari literally barged into my room. "Urgh, can't a woman in this house have a nice warm shower?" Ruby thought out aloud.

[The Present Moment]

Mari's Pov:

"Good Morning, Sis. How are you this fine morning?" I asked politely unlike my rude behaviour to literally barge into her room. "To say honestly, I seriously am not fine right now. So, get out of my room right this instant Mari. I'll talk after I finish taking a nice warm shower" Ruby replied to me in an annoyed tone. "Well,but I came---" before I could finish my sentence, Ruby shouted, "Get Out, RIGHT NOW". I ran straight to my room to get ready for my graduation ceremony, not wanting to anger Ruby any further.

Narrator's Pov:

On the other hand, Ruby finally took a nice warm shower and changed for Mari's graduation as well and went down to see Mari already waiting, since she was later than usual. "I see you've finally ready," said Mari. "I see you're ready as well" replied Ruby. A while later, after their parents were ready they all went to Mari's school for her graduation ceremony.

After they arrived at her school Mari said her goodbyes to her parents and Ruby and went the backstage to wait along with her friends and the other students. Usually, in their school's graduation ceremony, they read the graduating student's names class-wise and Mari was the last in her class. After a while of honoring the chief guests and the welcoming of the parents, the calling of the names had begun. Finally, after waiting for nearly an eternity (not really) it was Mari's turn. "And the last student of class D is No:46, Mari Roger" the headmistress announced. Mari took a deep breath before entering the stage and went to get her 14 years of hard work. "We are also happy to announce that, she also won the scholarship to the famous college in Paris" the headmistress added after Mari entered the stage. All of the audience clapped and cheered for her."I am so happy and thankful to everyone who helped me achieve this success ,thank you everyone" Mari finished her short speech and came down.

[Among The Audience]

Ruby, Fredric (Dad), Hera(Mom), were seated on the third row and cheered for her. "I am so proud of my daughter Mari, aren't you proud of her Fredric?" Hera asked her husband. "I'm always proud of our daughter, you know it!" Fredric replied with pride in his tone. "Hey! I will make you guys proud as well. When I graduate with the same scholarship as Mari next year" Ruby said with full of confidence while joining the conversation. Fredric and Hera just rolled their eyes and continued their own conversation. "What do you think about a surprise dinner party for Mari, huh?" Hera asked Fredric. "That is a really great idea Hera. I agree with it completely, you have my full support" Fredric replied back positively. "Hey!!!!! Am I even a human in your eyes or am I a ghost, don't just ignore me alright" Ruby whined. Both Fredric and Hera rolled their eyes again at Ruby's childish attitude and continued their conversation. After a while the graduation ceremony came to an end.

[After The Graduation Ceremony At The School Entrance]

Mari went out after the ceremony ended to meet her family at the entrance of the school waiting for her. "I'm so proud of you, my dear Mari. I'm so happy today" said Hera as soon as she saw her. "Hey, just wait for me to graduate next year, I'll make y'all proud too. Not to mention I'll be going to the same college as Mari" Ruby boasted about herself. "Don't mind her dear, you know how she is right?" Hera told Mari to which she just giggled and after their small chat all of them went home. After reaching the living room, Ruby called Mari and said "Now go and get ready quickly". "Huh?...for what?" Mari asked confused. "If you don't go and get ready right now, I don't mind pushing you and locking you in your room" Ruby replied pushing Mari. "Geez, alright! alright! I'll go, just don't push me" Mari replied and went to her room to get changed. There on her door a note was stuck, it read "I kept two sets of dresses, wear any one of your choice. - By Ruby".

Mari took the note and went inside to find two sets of dresses as mentioned in the note. Mari wore one of the dresses and went down to find everyone waiting for her. "You sure took your time, huh?" Ruby said. " Well, I had a tough time choosing what dress set should I wear? It took me quite a while to decide on this one, so I'm sorry if I made you'll wait too much" Mari replied awkwardly. "Don't mind her Mari. You know her, she just says whatever comes in her mouth. Now, let's get going, shall we?" Hera said and everyone went to the car and Fredric started to drive. "So, when did you find time to choose the outfits for me? I mean you were with us all along and it's like you have magic or something" Mari asked to Ruby out of curiousity. "Well, remember I came down late today morning?" Ruby asked, to which Mari nodded and Ruby continued "I was late because I figured Mom and Dad would plan out a surprise for you. So, I decided to choose some outfits for you to wear. That's why I came down late" Ruby explained. After that they all chatted away untill they reached their destination. When they got out of the car Mari saw that they had bought her to a newly opened Grand Chinese Restaurant. They all went in and sat at their reserved table and ordered the food. "So, you guys bought me to a Chinese restaurant, huh!" Mari asked once they finished ordering. " Yep, do you like it?" Ruby replied exited. "Nope...I love it" Mari exclaimed. After a while their food had arrived and when they all finished eating, they went home happily chatting and laughing.

[Outside in the Garden]

"Fred I have something important to discuss with you. Do you have time?" Hera asked. " Of course honey, I always have time for my wife. Tell me what is it?" Fredric asked.
