PROLOGUE

My life story as a young princess of Amoria Kingdom sadly came to an end on the day of the rebellion in my kingdom. A tragic event that happens after generations of strong ties between the kingdom royal and its subject, yet, nothing was given back from the subjects, not compassion nor mercy.

"...."

"N-no, it can't be happening" I'm witnessing the horrendous sight through my tear-filled eyes.

I want to scream but not even a single noise comes out from my mouth. A sheer terror overwhelming my senses. While I cried in pain watching the dead bodies of my whole family member and the torturous that I feel when I'm watching all of the people that I loved in a deafening silence.

In my mind, I have an absurd hope that they'd all will get up, that they'd tell me if all of this is just a crude joke, a horrid prank but then, the only sound that I could hear is my own sobs. I'm pulling myself up and run around the whole place looking in every single room if by chance someone that I know might still alive. I'm trying to look for everything that I could see in every single dead body. A little light sparkling in my heart that almost turn empty. I knew that I'm not the only one who survive the massacre as my twin brother's body was nowhere to be found.

Desperately I'm searching for him, hoping that I will find him alive. Instead of running away to save my own life, I keep looking for him. Too naive, too ignorant, until I lost the power in both of my legs.

"KYAAHHHH!!!"

"u-ugh. Gil.. where are you?" I held out a hope that he had escaped the massacre somehow, he would find me and we will be together to face this darkness. But then, he standing in front of me with a defeating silence and an overwhelming light running through all of my body when I held up my head to have a glance at his face.

"Gil, Gilbert. it's really you?"

"Gil, I'm looking around for you. What is happening, Gil? father, mother, brother, and our sister. I found them in the hall. Ugh, dead" I'm crying and keep crying holding his hand but he keeps being silent not even a single hug to calm my tears, painful heart, and my trembling body. My eyes then stuck and start to lost its sight once I'm seeing blood on his hand. Suddenly my inner voice asked me to "RUN"

"Oh my dear sister pirinka, I finally find you"

"Party has already begun, where have you been?"

"?!!" Gilbert's eyes are full of darkness. My body did not even want to listen to me anymore at that moment.

"Gil, don't tell me. Were you the one, the one who killed o-our family?!!" Anger, sadness, a madness that I'm feeling so much. I throw a lot of punch and slap at him. He grabs both of my hands and gives me the scariest smile ever.

"WHY, WHY?!!!"

"P- please.. Please do- don't kill me.." Hearing my trembling voice with a word that he never expected, He laugh out loud.

"I can't believe it. I thought you will keep being annoying by asking me the reason behind all of this"

"But you starting to begging instead"

"Piri, as a royal we are forbidden to beg. Just think that this is a gift from me to you"

"No!! NO!, Gil I will do anything, anything. But let me alive!"

"Have mercy, please!"

"I don't want to die yet"

"We- we are twin right, you will let me alive right, brother? Please?" I'm really turning into a person who even people called as "trash", "disgusting" just because I want to be alive. But of course, he will ignore me. Gill dragging me to the side of a pound in my palace. tied me and torturing me with every painful stuff that he hide in his pocket. knife, needle, a glass string. I keep screaming, begging until all of the things that I see are full of darkness.

"someone, please help me" When I closed my eyes. I thought that my life is ended. Then a voice reaches out my sense.

"You are really an annoying soul, but this is such a long time since the last time I could hear a human voice that was desperate to live"

"You must be a special case, human"

"Just thought of yourself is lucky since I could respond to you"

"So, tell me. Why do you want to live so much?"

"Betray a tied that you have with your family"

"You begging to someone that killed them without any mercy"

"I know, I know that its better for me to leave this world together with them"

"But, I can't"

"Even I will be cursed by them, I will accept it. But I can't die yet"

"Who will stop my brother if I die? I'm the only one from my family who is still alive"

"For my family, for a promise that I have to keep, i want an answer from my brother"

"But I will never get all of that if I died!"

"I can't accept all of this!!"

"Fine, be grateful, human. Since I feel that I can't refuse your wishes"

"But just so you know, that I'm still dissatisfied with your answer. But I will look forward to our fate"

"You will carry a very heavy burden on your life, the rest is God's own choice"

"..." looking around the room that looks strange for me. I'm still thinking that I'm still dreaming.

Then, my heart racing once again, the hope crumbling again when a trembling voice from a maid that I don't know, a loud noise that coming from a metal plate that she was dropped starting to breaking my mind.

"So, everything is real??" I'm feeling so doom, my heart is in pain and tears flowing down my cheeks. I ignored the presence of the maid at the moment.

"Yo- your highness.." That maid seems shocked when seeing me, she is running out of the room and then starts screaming a name that is familiar.

"PRINCE- PRINCE- THE CROWN PRINCE, PRINCE ROEN HAS FINALLY AWAKE!!!!"

"Hu-huh?" After hearing the name, my sense is back.

I hope I will never regret the choice that I made. Although something that I never expected to happen.

"Let the king and the queen know that our crown prince is finally awake!!"

"Who are they talking about?" I'm questioning myself with a confused mind. Then I realize something in me I change.

"Eh, w-what is wrong with my voice? Why does it's sound deep and clean?"

"Like a man voice?"

"OH, NO! WHAT IS THIS THING INSIDE MY PANTS?!"

"SINCE WHEN AM I WEARING A PANTS??!!!"
