I woke up during the middle and of the night, I must've fell asleep. I look outside my window to see nothing but homes. I decided to sneak to the kitchen for a snack. I slowly and quietly walk down the stairs. It's hard since the stairs take so long if you're walking, it is castle. I reach the kitchen and go to the fridge. I see something on the counter. It's like a phone. I open the phone it has Prince Ryland's Face as his wallpaper.

I try to unlock it but it won't. What would his password be? His birthday is too simple...his mother's birthday! I enter it in and it unlocks. He has many notifications for his messages. I guess I can still look at it, right? I mean he left it here. I click on the app and the first thing I see is the name Danaya. Danaya is a princess of the wind. Why would he have her in his messages? I check their text messages. I was in complete shock the minute I saw the words.

Why? Why! I kept asking myself, why would Ryland blackmail Danaya? Danaya is my best friend really. His text keep saying "If you don't do it, I'll tell my parents you tried to break the alliance." I keep trying to load the other messages to see the thing she keeps getting blackmailed for. It just won't show. I hear footsteps down the stairs. I put the phone back down. I stand still to see who it is.

Ella! What is she doing here? Ella is my little sister, she is only 6. "I wanted a midnight snack, Evie." She said rubbing her eye. "Ella, mom and dad can't know we are getting midnight snacks." I said. I grab something from the fridge. I hand her strawberries. Her hands are behind her back. She munches them quickly. Then she goes up. I go back to where I left off. Before I grab the phone I need to think. How could I marry a blackmailer? And how could I love a ordinary non-royalty person?

I put my hand on the phone, but there is no phone. I look all over the counter. Where is it? Ella took it, no wonder she had her hands behind her back! Ella! How dare you, I need it! I ran up stairs and enter her room. She's fast asleep. Where would she put it? I search her room. I see a little light coming from her drawer. I open it. The phone! It's also ringing?
