1 Prologue

In a secluded part of the Eastern forest, a faint orange color is seen from afar tainting the night sky as the Kingdom of Lune gets burned to the ground. Cries and screams for mercy echo throughout the whole kingdom. A man clad in fur and leather walks amidst the fiery place making his way towards the center of it all. The king and his people await him as they kneel on the cold stone afraid and fearful of what may come to them.

"How could you do this Bavol?" the king said once the man comes into view, that familiar look he has known all these years and yet today that same look is a total stranger to him.

"What do you mean "How could I"? Why wouldn't I?" Bavol slowly made his way towards the kneeling crowd wearing an arrogant smile. "Aren't you elated after so many years of waiting, another one was born. An omega was born in a kingdom populated by alphas and betas. A special kind of omega with a special kind of blood." He continued as he paced the town square, arrogantly making his point occasionally looking at the people kneeling before him.

The king shakes his head to what Bavol was saying, he thought he understood him, but he was wrong. Years of friendship and hardship does not mean one can fully understand another's heart and Bavol proved that right. The king looked at him head on "Elated? An omega being born in this kingdom, not only causes grief but also brings disaster. An omega being born as a silver tipped wolf is in itself an omen that can be either good or bad."

Bavol snickered "You are only saying that because you know full well how important that omega is" he moved closer to the old ruler, crouching down to his height grasping harshly the sides of his face "and you cannot accept the fact that omega is your beloved granddaughter." Bavol stood up shoving the king ordering his men to lock them up. The crowd started to panic. Some struggled at the hold of the soldiers, others cried and begged for mercy knowing something unimaginable will happen to them.

"Why can't your kin be sacrificed but mine can?" Bavol muttered under his breath as somehow those words of his took him back to the good old days that is now gone.

The king widened his eyes in bewilderment faintly hearing what the other said, he struggled at the hold of the soldiers wanting to know what he was talking about, "What are you saying? Sacrificed?! Who was sacrificed?! Bavol be clear! Who were you talking about? Bavol!" the last words of the king was heard faintly as he got taken away.

Meanwhile outside the kingdom,

"Look carefully! Make sure to not hurt them once found! Lord Bavol wants them alive especially the little princess!" Grant, a Lieutenant of the royal army, ordered his men as they looked for the Princess and her daughter.

The men answered in unison until someone shouted, "There!" one soldier pointed at a distant shadow behind a tree not far from them. They all looked where the soldier pointed at before anyone could react, a figure moved from behind one of the trees. "Seize the Princess! Make sure she is not harmed!" Grant immediately ordered making his men move quickly towards the shadowy figure.

Not far from where the lieutenant is, another figure pants nervously behind a tree. The soft moonlight revealed a delicate looking woman carefully hiding as she overheard the lieutenant and his men. The woman gulped hoping she will not be found as she occasionally looks at the quiet baby bundled with a blanket in her arms.

After hearing what the lieutenant and his men were talking about, the woman could not help but looked at the direction where the shadowy figure was spotted. She noticed a faint outline of a person behind a tree. In that instant, her heart skipped a beat in excitement and fear. Excitement, knowing that figure was none other than her beloved and fear, realizing what he will do next will for sure endanger his life just for the sake of her and their little one. The figure, her beloved, smiled as he looked at their direction briefly, nodding before showing himself completely as he ran towards the opposite direction, silently saying goodbye to his princesses in his heart. Tears ran down on the princess' cheeks as she cried silently for his beloved still praying for him to be safe and well, "Let's meet again in another lifetime."

The princess waited until she can no longer hear any sound around him except for the soft gushing of the wind and of small insects. She carefully and quietly emerged from her hiding place making sure no soldier insight. She ran fast in another direction not daring to look back.

"Huff, Huff!"

"Don't worry little one I will protect you no matter what" the princess promised the baby in her arms as she continued to run.

Suddenly remembering her beloved and of what might have become of him, she abruptly stopped as tears once again rolled down on her cheeks. Incoherent sounds snapped the princess out of her thoughts, while the little one starts to play the hem of her blanket babbling lively. The princess smiled at the little one, praying that this child will live happily even when both of her parents are not there to see her growth.

"Lieutenant! This part got disturbed!" one soldier showed Grant a patch of soil, the area where the princess was not long ago. Grant crouched down examining it before standing up and scanning the nearby bushes and land seeking for some more disturbed area.

"Follow me!" He ordered his men as he figured out where the princess might have gone.

The princess froze in her place as she heard voices getting louder by the minute as the group of soldiers lead by the lieutenant got closer. She quickly thought of a way to dodge them, making her decision as she continued to run.

After some time of running, the princess came upon a rabbit hole big enough for the little one to fit in. She quickly moved crouching down as she checks the rabbit hole for any unwanted animal that might harm the little princess. She then gathered some nearby leaves and branches before placing down the little princess inside the hole, covering her with the leaves and branches enough for her to breathe comfortably and for no one to notice her.

"Little one I know I've promised you that I will protect you no matter what but I'm afraid I won't be able to fulfill that promise," she leaned in as she kissed the little princess's forehead as her tears fell uncontrollably.

The little princess frowned and cried as she felt the sadness of her mother. "shh, shh~ Who's my brave little princess?" she wiped the little one's tears showing her a necklace with a shining silver crystal as a pendant. "There, there my little princess. I give you this necklace" she said as she put the necklace on the little princess letting her play with it.

She caressed her soft chubby cheeks as more tears fell down "Even if we are not beside you, this necklace will remind you of our love and hope, so do not forget that we will always be there looking out for you. This will also be the proof of your identity so don't lose it or show it to anyone."

The princess giggled a bit thinking that the little princess is still too young to remember, but still she hoped that in the future when hardships beset upon the little princess, the necklace she is wearing will give her hope and confidence to face them remembering their love for her by heart.

The princess kissed the little princess's forehead one last time before standing up covering her more leaves and branches.

"My dear little one, you must live your life however you want it to be even if you won't be able to escape your destiny as the only living omega in the silver tipped wolf clan. You must not forget that you are Princess Nanna, the only heir and granddaughter of the Kingdom of Lune, the one who holds the Moon Blood." She said as she made her way to the opposite direction. She gave one last look at the rabbit hole before completely disappearing in the night.

"Goodbye my little one. Be strong. Until we meet again"
