13 The Attack

Prompto had come back. The sparring matches went by and left her with six. She was happy to see that two of the girls were pretty strong. The other two were left in the first group to be trained. Bella had set them into two groups of six and one group of eight. The strongest were in the group of eight and they were going to be the fast to train hopefully. If not they would be the hardest because they thought they knew better.

"It doesn't matter your group by how Prompto and I will be training you. Everyone will be starting with the basics and the only difference is speed. The first group will begin training bright and early once I send extra royal guards over. The second group will be training tomorrow afternoon around two o'clock."

"Group one is the eight and group two is the second strongest. Group three will begin training at six in the evening with the royal guards, my lady and myself, " Prompto stepped in and smiled. The city guards kinda groaned at the schedule. "If you guys complain I will make sure someone watches as you run laps here the whole day."

That quieted all of them. Prompto was going to be strict and would have all the ones helping report to him. "Cameron we will discuss your position later."

"Yes sir," he stepped back and into the shadows. That's were he typically stayed and watched for anyone to attack. He was observant but Prompto still didn't know his fighting skills.

"I want you to help with training sometimes Cameron. Maybe even train, " Prompto said and looked at the rest of the guards. "Get your rest because tomorrow is a long day. Good job today."

Prompto and Bella walked away. The others had long left the city and returned to pub and they met them there. "Gladio could you help with training the city guards?" Bella smiled because she knew he would.

"Of course. Why are you having us train the guards instead of training with the assassins?" Gladio was actually liking the training.

"Well you guys will be. That's why I need your help. You and Prompto will rotate and work on a schedule to do so, " Bella yawns and looks around. Hardly anyone was out but it wasn't that late. "Where is everyone? "

"It was like this when we returned, " Notics stopped smiling. None of them had realized the lack of people there.

"Jackson?! " Bella went to the counter and when Jackson didn't respond she went behind and saw what had happened. She screamed and collapsed. The guys came running and Prompto automatically picked Bella up and carried her out of the room. When she finally calmed down she ran and checked all of the rooms. Prompto was right behind her. Jackson was killed but what about everyone else?

So they checked and checked. They didn't find anyone else. "Where are they all? It is my job to protect them!" Bella was furious and so upset. Jackson was such an amazing guy and he was killed in his own kitchen with his own knife.

"We will find them Bella," Prompto took her into a hug. "Let the others keep checking. I will stay here with you. We need to go back to Leo's house and maybe even the city. It is too dangerous here."

"I know, I know but I can't leave Jackson like that. All alone and there's no one here to make sure he is properly buried, " Bella went to her room and packed her things. She also took out her communication crystal. "Jake, something horrible happened at the pub. Jackson was killed and I don't know where anyone else is."

"Bella, I am so sorry. I believe you can find them and if not you will revenge them. Please don't do it alone. Stay at Prompto's side and if he says run you do, " Jake had a tear fall down his face. Jackson and him were great friends when Jake had lived there. Always joking around but when Jake was sent back, it made Jackson a little depressed.

"I am not running Jake. You must know this by now. I am going to kill everyone single one of the darks and take down that tyrants whole empire with him, " Bella got herself together and put her things into her world. Prompto walked in and gathered his things too.

"Hey Jake. I will make sure she returns to you if that is what you are about to say, " Prompto gave a sad smile. "So will the others. They want to swear the oath Bella. Even Notics and I know what that means."

"No Notics isn't getting anywhere near this problem. I don't want you near it. I don't want anyone apart of this, " Bella looks at Jake in the communication crystal. "I can't let anyone else get killed."

"Bella I know but you can't do this alone. You need more than just you to take down an empire. You need an army, " Jake was whispering because someone was walking around outside the door. "I have to go. I will call again soon." Then the crystal went dark and Bella sighed.

"I guess you need my brothers world now, " Bella made a little orb float. It was just a little circle, no bigger than a golf ball. "Here, this will allow you to open it. It isn't the entire world because I can still open it."

"Bella thank you, I will give it back once we get you home," Prompto pulled her into a hug and kept her like that. "Let the others pledge. Everyone already thinks you are gone so you don't need a survivor heir right now."

"I need someone to tell my parents that I am truly gone."

"No one is doing that. When Jake calls back talk to your mom and dad, " Prompto lets go and takes the magic from her. He closes it in his palm and it disappears, now apart of him too. They got all packed up and went to the guys room and got their things packed and into the small worlds.

"All ready to go. I will see if Leo can contact some people to start a search for the royals but I am not getting my hopes up. I am assuming the darks have taken them and they are in the other kingdom, " Bella walks to the doors of the pub and opens them one last time. She would never be returning there and it made her sad. She wasn't going home like the plan was but going into hiding basically. What a coward was all she could think of herself.
