2 Rough Start

"How come you knew we were here? We just arrived, " Gladio demanded to know. He was a good head guard and could help keep the guards better organized.

"Gladio, it's my job to know when a prince has been sent to this timeline. A lot of princes and princesses have been too. We can't figure out why this time though, " Bella was willing to talk now since they reached the ally. Gladio pulled his sword when his name was mentioned and so did Prompto and Ignis. They put Notics behind them, who seemed rather offended. "I suggest you put your swords away. I would hate to take them from you."

"Then tell us how you know us? Our faces aren't recognized by many since we are stuck at the castle, " Gladio was still demanding answers. Not unusual but it was rather annoying.

"Stop demanding things. You may be a head guard but you really don't have the power to question me, " Bella was smug about it. She enjoyed being a mystery to people, made it easier to deal with people. Of course they don't realize who they are messing with. "Look I'm not here to kill you if you need to know. I would have already if I was." She snapped her fingers and two swords appeared in the air. She could control three swords like that at a time. Typically it's only one but all royals can do it. That's when they put their swords away and she pulls her away too. "Figured out who I am? "

"Princess Bella.. how come you didn't tell us it was you? " Notics bows as he talks and the others follow.

"And have no fun? Oh you must have heard the rumors. That I never reveal my identity. I guess I kinda did with the swords but once swords are taken out I stop, " Bella smiles and shift a hand for them to stand and they do. "Look I just wanna see how you would react. You have good guards but they ask too many questions."

"Well Princess Bella, don't you ask questions before you attack?" Gladio was pushing now but he could see the little annoyance in her face. She was hard to read.

"No because you guys shouldn't be questioning a dark. It could be what gets you killed, " She turns around and starts walking. The four start to follow her right away. "Anyways we are heading to the magic pub like I said. This location isn't to be shared to anyone unless it's by me. I know all royals and their personal guards."

"Of course Princess. We know how to keep a secret. How many princesses and princes are there?" Prompto was the one to speak this time which she was surprised. She didn't need to look back to know who was talking, she just knew.

"Well Prompto there's at least 50 princesses and princes and tons of guards. I'd say around 100. The darks started trapping princesses and princes from all times, even the past. It's gotten very bad and I am going to fight to send everyone home, " Bella was a strong women no doubt but such a task for barely seventeen was hard. "I must as they have made me Queen for them. I am the ruler of those who come from all different times and I do not keep a guard. The darks are waiting to kill me. They want me to watch every last princess and prince die first."

"Oh, that's horrible. We are here to help and while I'm in this timezone I will serve as a guard for you and the other princesses. We all will, " Notics walked to be just behind her. That was the rule after all, no one was to walk beside them or ahead of them that was their company.

"Look I don't need guards. Jake is at home so that means I don't have one in this timezone but I truly don't need one. Jake is more for show and he knows it, " Bella shrugged and looked at Noctis. "Also please don't treat me like a Queen. I am just standing as a leader. You can walk beside me. "

Then they were at the pub. It was quite shabby looking. They didn't think it would be but it was in an alley, who would expect better. "So this is where we are staying? It doesn't look all that pleasant Princess, " Notics had a hint of disgust in his voice at the broken and old building.

"Oh that's just for show and so is the front part. Come on now, it's actually lovely and I'm pleased with how it turned out. I was one of the firsts that arrived here, " Bella pushed open the doors and walked quickly through the shabby pub to the back and opened another set of doors.

"Oh wow. This is luxurious actually. It was smart to make it blend in, " Prompto was kinda spinning around a little to take in every detail of the place. He eventually got dizzy and Bella laughed. "I guess I got a little overwhelmed. I wasn't expecting the top rating hotel back here honestly. "

"Well it's time for you boys to change. You all look too Royal and it won't do. There is a donation room full of ordinary clothes until we can go shopping. You are under my guidance of the city, " Bella smiled and showed them the donation room. It was a big room and full of very plain looking clothes. She wasn't wearing anything plain though. Her dress has a floral pattern and she wore tights with black boots. She has a whole closet full of pretty dress but they weren't the fancy Royal ones she loved wearing. It was the best she could do in her situation. Fancy clothes like what she wears in her castle would have been as much as she spent on all her outfits, just for one.

The boys came out dressed and looked rather good for somewhat plain and commoners clothes. Rumors about their handsomeness wasn't wrong entirely. "Well this will do I guess, " Notics looked at his clothes still shaking his head. "When do we get nicer ones though?"

"Tomorrow. I will be with you to make sure you don't buy things that make you stand out too much, " Bella smiled and at Ignis who hasn't said anything yet. She looked him up and down, "How come you haven't said anything yet? With your clothes I didn't expect you to be the quiet type."

"I'm sorry Princess. I didn't have anything to say or add to what was going on," Ignis' voice was smooth and deep. He showed no emotion in his eyes or body language. He was definitely different to the other three who show emotion all the time.
