1 Encounter with Lily

In the dark world, a black shadow jumped out vigorously. It was the black knight. The sharp blade in his hand danced as he chopped down another evil ghost. "It's settled," he whispered. It was an oath, an authority that no one could challenge.

Lily, a pure and innocent girl, ran quickly towards the evil ghost, stretching out her hands gently, and white light burst out of her palms. It was the light of purification and a declaration of war against evil. She panted, her eyes firm despite her fatigue.

"Lily, the pollution of your body is getting heavier and heavier. I'm very scared..." Guardian Alessio's voice was filled with endless worry but was suddenly interrupted by Adelina.

"This is Lily's own choice... May God bless her..." Adelina clasped her hands together and prayed devoutly.

Guardian Knight Commander Alessio looked at Lily, his eyes full of worry. He came over and patted Lily on the back as if to comfort her. Chiara and Adelina, two of Lily's guards, stood silently aside, their eyes full of determination and protection.

Lily stood up and sat on the wood next to her. Her eyes were looking into the distance as if she was contemplating something. She knew her fate and the possible outcome. But she didn't flinch; she endured silently.

At this moment, Guardian Knight Commander Alessio suddenly noticed me walking from the forest. "Who?!" His voice was full of vigilance. The originally quiet team instantly entered a fighting state, with all protection surrounding Lily.

"How can there be any living people here? Are they evil spirits?" Alessio pointed his spear at me, his eyes full of hostility.

However, Lily walked towards me, her voice small but firm: "Please wait a moment..." She walked through the crowd and came to me, looking directly into my eyes with her clear gaze. "I can't feel any evil spirit on your body... It seems that you have not been contaminated by the rain of death..."

I looked at her, filled with confusion and surprise. This girl remained pure and kind in such a world, her eyes full of hope and determination. I looked at her outstretched hand, a pure invitation.

"Hi~"

"My name is Aika Kaname!" I answered loudly.

"Miss Kaname, what are you doing here?" The tone sounded alert but soft.

"I'm just here for a trip, and I accidentally got lost!"

"Is that so? Sorry, after all, this area has not been peaceful recently..." (But on second thought, I and my group are not locals either) "You can follow us... we will protect you from this place!" Lily looked at me, with a trace of doubt in her eyes.

"It doesn't matter, it's just a piece of cake!" (Lily turned around and waved to everyone) "Let's go, everyone! We are going to continue setting off!" Everyone followed Lily closely.

After walking for a while, we arrived at the entrance of the village. "Miss Kaname, the village entrance is just ahead. Did you say you were here for a trip?" Lily asked softly.

"Yes, I was travelling, but I didn't expect that I would get lost along the way." I replied.

"Miss Kaname, do you like this village?" Lily continued to ask.

"This village doesn't seem to be well developed yet, but it seems that there are many hot springs here where you can take a bath," I replied with a wry smile.

"Miss Kaname, we are very poor here... we don't have the energy to develop tourism here." Lily looked at me with a hint of helplessness in her eyes.

"But we will work hard to protect everyone!" she said firmly.

"This country should be developed more. Even the rain of death must be solved." I looked at Lily, my eyes full of hope.

"Miss Kaname... will you join us?" Lily asked suddenly.

"Well, I agree to join you. After all, you saved my life and are very kind." I replied.

"Really! Thank you very much!" Lily showed a surprised expression.
