As I closed my eyes, I felt darkness around me. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years passed by in this darkness. As there was nothing but darkness, it gave me time. Time to think about my life and the choices I made. As soon as 3 years old, I was influenced by tennis. Rather, it was the anime and manga Prince of Tennis that influenced me on the path to become a pro tennis player. I would watch and read for hours and hours without getting tired at all. It fascinated me with the flashy techniques and the story revolving around the protagonist, Ryoma Echizen, my namesake. I wished my life would be like his but my talent for tennis was regretful. At an early age, I was told I didn't have talent by my teachers. The world fell apart that day. I despaired but I didn't give up my tennis dreams. Through that day, my will was strengthened and I decided even if I don't have talent, i'll make up for it in hard work. I struggled and struggled to enhance my skills but each increase in skills took months. In the end, due to me only having eyes for tennis neglected my family when they were the only ones who supported me when I had no talent for tennis. Through their constant sacrifices, they allowed me to play tennis and increase my skills. At the time of my death, I have already reached the limit of what my hard work can do to my skill levels. I gave up at that point. Even though I gave up, I convinced myself to play one last game for my career. Looking back, there are all sorts of what ifs and regrets. But it is too late as death is already upon me. Sigh. What have I played for. Was it for myself or was it because of my name. Deep down I believe it was for my name. Rather my namesake. I believed that I had to live up to it and my choice of playing tennis led me down a hard path. If there is one thing I do not regret, it is playing tennis. Even while my namesake did influence me, it was fun. Scoring a point, winning my first game, losing, all of these were a memory I am fond of.

As you can see you are a novice meaning that you are at the bottom of this world or in better terms a commoner. The levels of authority are: novice, apprentice, practitioner, expert, professional, duke, prince, king, emperor, and god. Each increase in level allows you to utilize more authority on this world. In the system, each increase allows you to use higher levels of skills based off of the work, The Prince of Tennis. The title is just what it is, a title that is engraved into your soul and is recognized by the laws of this world. Each title have their own effects. Your title of reincarnator has the effect of allowing you to keep your memories of your past life and allowing you to have a boost in proficiency when you are learning a new skill or practicing a skill. Hp is directly correlated with stamina as 1 point in stamina is 10 points in Hp and Ep is directly correlated with intelligence as 1 point in intelligence in 10 points in Ep. Your stats are what it says. Strength and stamina are low because right now you are a baby. Also, as a baby your dexterity is higher than strength and stamina as a baby is naturally dexterous. Intelligence and wisdom are high as you are reborn with your memories, meaning you are an adult in a baby's body. For charm, babies are cute. The stat levels correlate with your authority level and age. Babies and children generally have between 1 to 10 stat points in each stat while adults are from 11 1000 to stat points in each stat. Novices have 1 to 20 stat points in each stat, apprentices have 21 to 50 stats in each, practitioners have 51 to 150, experts have 151 to 300, professionals have 301 to 500, dukes have 501 to 700, princes have 701 to 800, kings have 801 to 900, emperors have 901 to 990, and gods have 991 to 1000. Each increase in stats for the people of this world after apprentices is slow as it takes talent and skill to raise the level higher than practitioners. In this world the general population are practitioners and only truly talented individuals can get past the expert level. There are only three emperor level individuals in this world and god level individuals have not been seen for tens of thousands of years. Your skills are split into two; passive and active. Passive skills are skills that don't need to be activated to be used and is always on while active skills are skills that needs to be activated. You have one skill which is the skill all individuals in this world have; the basic tennis skill. It is the skill that allows you to play and be proficient in tennis. As the skill levels up and rises in rank, you will have a broader selection of skills to use; from low class skills to high class skills. As for the items section, it is an inventory. -Basic tennis: This skill allows you to be able to play tennis on a basic level. Also, it allows you to use only low class skills excluding passive skills. As you increase the rank through proficiency, it will allow you to play higher levels of tennis and higher class skills.

-Never give up!: This skill allows you to have a 10% increase in stats when your Hp is lower than 80%.

-Nitoryu: This skill allows you to be ambidextrous, using any hand for tennis. Also, during matches you can switch hands.

Active:

-Twist serve: The first skill shown in the work, TPT. It allows you to serve a shot with a powerful twist which bounces up after the shot hits the ground. 10 Ep.

-One footed split step: This skill allows you to have quicker reaction as you hop and land on one foot. It is a continuous skill so Ep is needed every second this skill is activated. 5 Ep per second.
