13 Shockwaves Reverberate Across the World

"Hmmmmmm, so you've awakened…" Said a man with Golden eyes and a deep scar on his face.

He sat on top of a sturdy branch, staring at the deep blue sky above as the wind blew through his styled, black hair.

There was movement below, followed by grunting and mumbling. "When're you gonna get down here, My lord." Asked a deep, and rumbly voice.

The short man had a brown beard that covered half his torso and had very blocky chest and short limbs. He wore a helmet with two horns coming out of each side and had teeth that seemed like they hadn't been washed for a couple months. His arms were covered in scars and burns.

The golden eyed man looked down at the stubby man who had just walked out of the cave and smiled before looking back up towards the sky. "We'll meet soon..." He said as he leapt off the branch and walked into the cave with the stubby man.

"HmHmHmHmHmHmHm." Chuckled a large man sitting on top of a throne. His left hand formed a fist and supported his jaw as he kept his eyes closed and chuckled.

The room was large and spacious with twelve thrones, each made of different materials and of different designs formed a large 'U' facing the giant double doors ahead. The roof of the room was replaced by a vast and deep sky, changing with the time of the day and in the middle of the 'U' was a cold, dried and darkened fire pit that once seemed to give off a gentle glow.

"Porphyrion!" Another large man ran into the room, throwing the giant doors open with ease.

"HMHMHMHMHMHMHMHMHM!" The rapid chuckling grew louder as it began to shake Poryphyrion's whole body.

The man who had entered the room stopped and relaxed. "I guess you would be able to tell, being his bane..." The man smiled.

"MHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!!!" Poryphyrion shot out of his throne and threw his arms in the air.

"Another one Zeus!" He yelled at the sky. "No matter how many you send, I will kill them all!"

Porphyrion relaxed, as a bone-chilling smile grew on his face. "Or turn them into mine… like I did with him." He slumped back down in his chair and resumed his position, resting his jaw on his fist, this time with a smile on his face as he eagerly waited for the day.

"This way!" Shouted Leeds as he ran through the forest. "The lightning strike happened there!" He pointed forwards with his right arm to the bare trees up ahead.

After a few moments of running, he and his group of five entered the clearing where the lightning had struck. Upon entering the group covered their mouths and nose instinctively. Towards the left side was a large, charred body of what looked to be a giant. It still glowed red from the cracks as black smoke drifted into the air. Covering nearly half the clearing was darkened, destroyed ground and the other half had snake-like lightning patterns burned into the grass. Bare trees decorated the area immediately surrounding the clearing.

Near the body of the giant were two more bodies, with Kronos sitting next to them. Leeds slowly walked forwards, signalling to his group to scout the surrounding area for any other monsters. He stared at deep, train track-like lines buried into the ground from where the bodies were to an area where they appeared to start in the distance.

"Wha..." His faint voice broke, forcing him to swallow hard before trying to speak again. "What happened here?"

Kronos looked around the clearing before slowly getting up, only to fail once before trying and succeeding. He stretched his back as he looked back at Leeds who was waiting for an answer.

"I don't think you need me to tell you, use your context clues great demi-god." Kronos started walking past Leeds who grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Kronos!" He hissed.

Kronos took a deep breath and sighed, he shook off Leeds' grip and explained what had happened as well as what had happened with Sky.

"So he really did awaken..." Leeds said.

"We're taking him back and having Cronell look at Vena." Kronos told Leeds.

"Why are we looking after the women?" Leeds snapped back.

"I made a promise..." Kronos replied. He watched Leeds' face contorted with anger as the veins on his neck and forehead bulged.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" He yelled in the air at no one in particular before storming past Kronos.

"Glad to see we're in agreement..." Kronos watched a few of Leeds' group re-enter the broken clearing. He told them to bring Vena and Sky with them and followed Leeds letting out yet another deep sigh.

A dull pain echoed through Sky's body as he tried to move forcing him to tense up which led to even more pain. "Uuugh..." He groaned as he squeezed his eyelids.

He tried remembering what had happened before remembering the fight and jolting awake.

SLAM!!! The sound of metal humming echoed for a little bit followed by a few chuckles as Sky rubbed the top of his head, now up and sitting. "AAAGGHHH!!!" He yelled in pain as his entire body stung. He twisted and turned in different positions as the pain continued, each time letting out a shriek of pain.

Soon the entire room was full of laughs. "Mommy, that guy's funny!" Pointed a child very close to Sky.

Sky turned deep red as he realized that he was the center of attention, freezing on the spot.

"Hey, It's not polite to point!" Said a woman's voice. "Excuse me, are you alright?"

Sky slowly turned around, trying to endure the pain without making a noise. His face turned into a brighter shade of red when he saw the beautiful women in front of him. She had light, red hair that fell down to the middle of her back and deep green eyes. Her cheeks were round and her lips a nice shade of red. She appeared to be in her late twenties and had a beautiful body, covered in a white blouse with blue stripes and a large blue skirt with some out of place boots.

"U-U-Um… Y-y-y-y-yeah..." He managed to say.

Sky's eyes fell to the child in her lap. He had blonde hair with blue eyes and was wearing a beige shirt and brown pants with sandals. He looked to be no older than seven, eight at best and continued to laugh at Sky as his mother shushed him.

"W-W-W-W-W-Where… are we…?" Sky asked sheepishly.

"At the Hero's Stronghold." The lady replied.
