15 Reunion

"Even after all this time… you still can't talk to someone you just met properly," Said the man standing on the other side of the prison bars with a spear. "Can you, Sky?" He smiled.

The voice sounded familiar to Sky. He twisted his body around and laughed. "DON!!!!" He shouted gleefully.

The man took a couple steps backwards. "Shut up man, you're too loud!" He smiled as he twisted his pinky in his ear.

He had his shoulder length orange hair tied back. He had dangerous red eyes that glistened with mischief and trouble and a crooked smile that matched. In the past he had gotten beaten a lot for stealing and dirty pranks, all of which was revealed by his crooked nose. He stood a head taller than Sky and was wearing a blue t-shirt with its sleeves ripped off. Wrapped around his neck was his signature white scarf whose end fell down past his hip. He was wearing fitted beige pants and what looked like light shoes underneath. In his left hand was a strange looking spear that, on one end, appeared to have small needle-like spikes sticking out from the tip and a comfortable, soft looking red grip that had a somewhat long string attached to it at the other end.

Lucy turned to Sky with a puzzled look on her face. "Do…you know Don?" Lucy asked.

Sky turned around with a large grin on his face. "Of course, Ever since I was a kid we used to run around the marketplace in Riner!" Sky exclaimed, "But then three years ago he disappeared, didn't even say goodbye!"

"Well, let's just say things happened… Anyway Kronny wants to see you." He said as he opened the prison cell and pulled Sky out.

"Kronny?" Sky looked puzzled.

"You'll learn soon enough." Don sighed as he closed the door and guided Sky up the stairs at the end of the room.

Sky winced as he was suddenly hit with a bright light, once his eyes adjusted he slowly opened his eyes, absorbing the breathtaking sight that lay before him. They had come out of a triangular cave that sat at the top of a large hill overlooking the townlike area below him. There tons of houses scattered below, each one having a unique shape but all having walls of a beige stone-like material with dark brown wood planks covering the roofs and a chimney made of grey stones. To the left was a giant arena whose roof was covered in a black metal, creating what looked to be a giant bird cage with walls made of a similar dark material. To the right was a large open area with plants of different kinds as well as plowed fields and small lakes. Amongst the houses some were unusually large and made out of a different material, making them stick out. At the far end of the small town was a large building made in a similar manner to the houses but larger with more designs. Surrounding all this were giant stone walls, almost as large as the giant from earlier with four towers at each corner and a giant wooden entryway behind the extra large home.

Don slowly crept up next to Sky and took in the sight with him. "Beautiful isn't it." He smiled.

"It's what we work so hard to protect..." He said as he started walking down the hill.

Slowly, Sky followed, finding it difficult to pull his eyes away from the town. The two walked through the town as Sky turned his head to take a good look at each and every house and building that passed, sometimes even spinning around to take a look at an already passed building. After walking by the armory, shops, and food stands they stood at the entrance of the large building. Above the door was a strange looking shield with two, rusted and old swords crossing at its center.

Don smiled at Sky before slowly opening the two doors. "I brought him!" His voice echoed in the large building.

The room was large and spacious. At the far end was a wooden staircase leading to what may have been an office or a private room. In the center of the room was a large, rectangular table with papers scattered around. Some looked to be brand new while others old and yellow. There were six chairs lined up along the far wall on each side of the table, against the bookshelves that were missing several books. There was a fireplace on the left far near the end and around it were three comfortable looking seats made of leather and a small wooden table in the middle of them. On the right side, near the entrance was a small table, cluttered with random items ranging from gardening tools to jewelry and blades. On the opposite side of it were three mannequins dressed in three different kinds of armor. The first had on a standard knights outfit made of silver. The second, a bulky cloak with leather guards around the forearms, sides of the thigh and a metal breastplate underneath. The third had one a black set of armor with dragon-like horns coming out of the helm and glowing streaks falling across the rest of it. Out of the three, that one looked the most frightening, resembling a dragon.

"Bring him up!" Yelled a faint voice.

Don nodded and led Sky up the staircase, where they entered a mixture of a small office and a bedroom. Opposite the staircase was a large square window, overlooking the main street of the town. On the left side were more bookshelves with missing books, on top of each sat something different with the most eye-catching thing being a globe. On the right was an unmade bed and right in front of the window was a desk, once again cluttered with papers, but more kept then the ones downstairs. Something on it caught Sky's eye, it was a nice sized, red apple that sat at the front. Overall, it was a quant and comfortable room.

Leaning against the window was Kronos with his eyes closed. Standing next to the bookshelf was another man, someone who seemed familiar to Sky.

"AHHH!!!!" Sky shouted. "YOU!!!" He pointed to the man standing next to the bookshelf.

"Who the hell are you?" He asked.

"Shut up boy!" He growled.

"Don, you can leave now." Kronos said.

After Don had disappeared Kronos opened his eyes. "It's been seven years since the three of us have stood together." He smiled, opening his eyes

"Seven years… Ah!" Sky hit his fist against his palm, "Then you're Bleeds!"

"ITS LEEDS!" He snapped back.

"Still angry huh, what happened did you lose an arm or som-" Sky froze when he saw an empty sleeve hanging from Leeds' right side.

Leeds rubbed his shoulder with his left hand and snarled at Sky. "An arm was the least valuable thing I lost." He growled.

His appearance hadn't changed. He still had his surfer's hair with white strands and a black and white striped goatee. But now going down the right side of his face was a large and deep scar. He no longer wore a skintight suit, now only a loose red shirt with yellow flowers and cream colored shorts. He still kept his flip flops though.

Kronos clapped to get Sky's attention. "Now then, I'm sure you have a lot of questions, it's time I answered them all." He said as a heavy air settled in the room.
