Pain, unbearable pain. It's as if her whole body was set on fire.

She can feel her head throbbing with severe pain and her limbs felt weak to the point she can't even lift a finger.

She could vaguely hear voices around her and she tried to open her eyes to see what the fuss was about.

"Is it okay to leave him like that? It's been two days since he's unconscious and there's no sign of his fever reducing.."

"Shhh… Are you looking for trouble? It's Young Miss's order to not give him medicine or any treatment. We better follow the orders."

The voices turned soft as they were gone for some distance..

Mo Ling held her forehead and slowly opened her eyes.

She was caught off guard when she met with the familiar room she was in. Before this she was at her last breath and was dying in that hell of a prison cell.

'What’s happening now?.. Am I dreaming?'

Her mind is in a mess and she couldn't think straight for a moment. From the corner of her eye she caught sight of the calendar with the present date and stiffened as if time was frozen at that moment.

She got out of bed mechanically and step by step walked to the dressing table where the calendar is and stood there staring at the date.

Then realizing something she lifted her head only to see a young face with a head full of short light brown hair almost covering her thick eyebrows and green round eyes. With a small sharp nose, pale pink lips and has a mole on her left ear. she just looks like a delicate beauty if one ignores her sharp eyes and majestic aura around her.

The girl in the mirror is around seventeen years old. Donning a white shirt with loose -fitting blue jeans she looks youthful at first glance.

It gave her a great shock that she opened her eyes wide and stared at herself and slowly lifted her trembling palms to trace the outline of the youth before her.

The mirror felt cool to touch and she came back to her senses.

She blinked and closed her eyes to organize her messy thoughts. After four whole years of torture and finally tasting a bitter death she's back to square one to the time when she's almost eighteen.

"Haha.."

A low laugh escaped from her. It sounded hoarse and she felt slight pain from her dry throat. But she didn't mind and opened her eyes, which hide cruel ruthlessness..

If she isn't wrong, the day before yesterday the so-called 'Young Miss of Bi family' threw a party out of nowhere and humiliated her by calling her a leech sucking the Bi family's blood. And along with some other 'Justice Seekers', taught her a lesson by beating and finally throwing her in the pool to soak throughout the party.

After the party, finally some maids and Butler Wang carried her to her room and tried to call the family doctor to treat her. But their Young Miss passed the order that no-one is to treat her.

'So I was burning with high fever for two days and died.. and then I came back alive.. like rebirth? absurd, but I like it..'
