The whole wedding dress saga had somehow leaked out reaching Ying Tie's ears and so he distanced himself from those two for the entire afternoon. Wu Yange on the other hand, had some package delivered so he left soon after lunch with a suspicious look on his face that got Rong Zian curious.

Rong Zian didn't immediately follow him to the study, giving the prince time to settle down before catching him by surprise. When he got to the study room, the door was locked from within as though trying to keep people out. Rong Zian peeped through the window but could only see Wu Yange with his back facing him. Curiosity got the best of him so he knocked in such an inaudible way that not even a fly could hear it.
