9 To the Core Thunder Region.
Two horses were eating grass under the morning sun.
A bit away from the two horses was a four-wheeled merchant wagon, with a luxurious and comfy interior.
Inside the wagon, five men were cuddling each other in their sleep.

The 3 bodyguards also jumped up and searched for their weapons.

Bodyguard No 3 covered his nose and mouth with a cloth and looked between Driver Hanying and Chang Zemin, he obviously noticed the disappointment on Driver Hanying's face while disgust on Chang Zemin's face, 'Did something happen between these two.'
After vomiting for a bit, Chang Zemin calmed down, it was at this moment he noticed that his storage ring looked different.
As he scans the interior of the ring he finds that it to be much smaller than what it used to be.

He had been hiking through the dense forest the past two days, he only rested in the evening on treetops, thanks to his vast experience he effortlessly avoided the low-level demonic beasts in the outer regions of the Meteor Forest.
In his storge ring, he had enough dried food to last for at least a year, and enough water to last half a year and plenty of clothing.
Thanks to his fit and young body along with his strong will, he was able to continuously hike for two days, but he knew that he would physically reach his limits soon.

Since his plan was to hide from, the Temple of Love & the Divine Sword Sect and both powers have lots of connection throughout the Southern Thunder Continent. So if he goes to any of the major cities he could get captured easily. Of course, he could always disguise himself, but walls have eyes and pillars have ears, if by chance he gets caught then it's all over for him.
So that's why he made his final destination a no man's land, a place no one in their right mind would dare go, a place where criminals are exiled to die, a place where the death rate is 100% till now.
The Core Thunder Region.
The reason why the Southern Thunder Continent is called Thunder Continent is because of the Core Thunder Region. In fact, before the Core Thunder Region was formed, nearly 7000 years ago, this continent used to be called Southern Profound Continent.
No one knows why but nearly 7000 years ago, near toward the center of the Southern Profound Continent rain clouds mysteriously began to gather, but no rain fell, instead what took its place was lightning and thunder.
A countless amount of lightning and thunder fell from the clouds just like rain does, killing millions, and what made people more scared is that unlike normal lightning, the lightning of the Core Thunder Region seemed to have a life of its own and attacked living things, own their own.
Only a few people near the outer edges of the Core Thunder Region managed to survive the catastrophe. Ever since then the Core Thunder Region had been a no man's land.
If anyone tries to enter it, they will be ferociously bombarded by lightning.
After the Core Thunder Region was formed, 8 Divine Pond experts one each from the 3 major sects and 5 ancient families tried to enter it, to discover what or who could cause such a phenomenon.
At first, things were doing well for them, with their teamwork they managed to resist the bombardments of the endless lightning.
But all that changed when they reached 2 kilometers into the Core Thunder Region. At this mark, the lightning underwent a quantitive change, and out of the eight, only one survived, due to having his affinity for lightning and training in a high-level Lightning merit law. But due to the heavy bombardments of lightning, his brain was literally fried and became a retard.
This phenomenon also caught the attention of the other 4 continents, 3 of the other 4 send envoys to the Southern Thunder Continent, all of them where Divine pond experts.
The only continent that did not send envoy was the Western Beast Continent, which was dominated by Demonic Beasts, and under the peace treaty between Beast Emperor and the Human Divine Sea experts, Western Beast Continent and other 4 continents will not interact with each other no matter what for a period of 10,000 years.
The envoys where all 70 ponds Divine Pond Expert, this meant that they could step into Divine Sea at any moment that wanted to.
The only reason why they waited is so they can create more Divine Ponds so as to have more power when they reach Divine Sea. From Divine Pond to Divine Sea, the more ponds you have the stronger you are in the Divine sea.
It is said that if an expert has 100 ponds when he reaches to Divine Sea he has an 80% chance to reach immortality and ascend to a higher domain. And those with 70 Ponds only have 0.0002% chance to reach immortality.
In the mortal domains, anyone who reaches Divine Pond is considered a genius and everyone craved immortality, so almost every Divine Pond expert tires to get at least 80 Ponds before raising their cultivation Divine Sea.
