8 First near-death experience.
A Merchant wagon with two horses pulling it was slowly moving through the road.
When suddenly a 16-year-old step in front of it suddenly, causing the wagon to come to a halt.
"Hay you, What were you thinking? We could have run over you if we were going faster," said the driver of the wagon.
Right then a voice from inside the wagon said, "Hanying, why are we stopping?"
"Brother Chang, a crazy bastard wanted to kill himself and jumped in front of our wagon," said the driver named Hanying.
"If it's a beggar then give him some copper and ask him to scram," said the voice.
Driver Hanying looked carefully studied the person standing in front of him.
Tall, muscular, black hair and well dressed. He is definitely not a beggar. But he looks like a........ Hanying shuddered at the thought.
"Brother Chang, I don't he is a beggar, he looks like a 'Special Guest'," Special Guest is a code word they created for bandits.
Form inside the wagon a man popped out his head through the curtains, the man was chubby and had a mole between his brows, it was a unique face that one would not forget.
His name was Chang Zemin.
"What do you want?" he asked directly to the person. He had bought along 3 bodyguards all in the Meridian Opening stage, so he was confident in taking on any 'Special Guests' in this undeveloped area of the continent. But he did not want to harm an innocent person, so he asked this question to determine whether if this person is a 'Special Guest' or not. Depending on the answer of this person gives he will pass the message to his bodyguards to attack.
The person raised his head and asked, "Where is your destination?"
Seeing the golden eye of the person, Chang Zemin was stunned for a second.
'Golden eyes, is he a member of the Wei Family. Wait all the Wei Family members have red hair, he could be wearing a wig.....' as his thoughts spun, driver Hanying opened his mouth.
"We are going to Meteor Dragon City, do you need a lift."
"Yes, I need a lift to Meteor Forest," said the person.
"Tough luck, we are going in the opposite direction," said Driver Hanying.
"Can't you do a fellow human a favor and drop me off there," said the person as he released an evil aura.
"We are sorry, we are in a hurry," Chang Zemin who was sensitive to aura suddenly intervened in the conversation between the diver and the person ending it abruptly.
"Are you sure about that," Everlasting said as his golden pupils turned into black vortexes.
Driver Hanying and Chang Zemin suddenly fell into a daze.
"Please take me to Meteor Forest," he asked once again with a smirk.
"As you..... wish my lord", both of them said simultaneously.
Suddenly 3 bodyguards jumped out of the wagon and aimed their weapons, at Everlasting.
A sword from the left, a saber from the right, and a spere form the center.
Everlasting stood there as if he was frozen with a smirk plastered on his face, the bodyguards thought that they were moving too fast for this person to even see.
But just as their weapons were about to hit its target, they felt an immense pressure on their soul. It was at that moment that they notice the eyes of the enemy.
Those black vortexes, that ancient evil aura. They felt that they were looking at something very sinister and that sinister thing was now looking back at them.
'Just what the fuck is that,' they though simultaneously as they fainted.
"Carry them inside," Everlasting commented as he entered the wagon.
"Yes my lord", both Driver Hanying and Chang Zemin said simultaneously.

The interior of the wagon was luxurious and comfy but that was the last of Everlasting's worries.
He was now bleeding from his eyes, nose, and ears.
He almost had a panic attack too but thanks to his will that had been tempered for over millions of years, he quickly calmed down.
'That was a close one,' he thought as he sighed, 'I don't have the same immortal body that I used to have, which is really inconvenient. I also don't have a second Samsara breaking reincarnation crystal, so if I die in this body I am dead for real,' Everlasting felt really frustrated now, he felt like had an itch but was unable to scratch it.
Danger was not something new to Everlasting, he had been on countless espionage missions before, but because of the immortal nature of his previous body, death was not an issue for him, the most that could have happened to him was his avatar getting hurt.
But things are different now he could really die now because this new body of his is mortal.

He eventually calmed down.
'I need to heal the damage done to my eyes,' his thought spun as the thought of healing arts to speed up the healing rate.

One way to measure its the amount of knowledge contained in a book is through the number words in it and the Encyclopedia of Medical Knowledge has exactly 9.823658746567 x 10^ (5674) words in it.
Thankfully all that information is stored in an information jade, and not an actual book made of paper.
According to Everlasting, the Encyclopedia of Medical Knowledge contains every possible disease, cure and medicine possible for the human body, it also has the possible path of evolution for the humans, till the end of a Major Domain Cycle (The period of time need for a Major domain to be born and be destroyed).

Right now Everlasting is inserting a long silver needle into the head of the 3 bodyguards.

And like that, they continued their journey to Meteor Forest.

By now Peng Fu is already dead now and Qiu Xiu went to Temple of Love and got was embarrassed by presenting a leaf as a marriage certificate. The Priest was so furious that he wanted to punished Qiu Xiu, but the Divine Sword Sect bribed/compensated the Priest so she escaped for the punishment.
Both the Temple of Love and the Divine Sword Sect send a small squad to the Wei family. The Temple of Love's squad was there to see if the Marriage certificate is damaged or not, while the Divine Sword Sect was there to demand an explanation.
Right now Wei Family had already declared a city-wide lockdown and is combing the entire city in search of Peng Fu.
None of the Wei Family members were even concerned about Wei Jin when suddenly the squads of the Temple of Love and the Divine Sword Sect arrived.

It contained clothes, toys, wine, and some exotic fruits, that is mostly stuff that can be traded, it is expected that a merchant will have such things with him.
