2 Celestial Eclipse Dantain

Everlasting compiled all the memories of Wei Jin and browsed through it.

Wei Family is one of 3 Great families of Meteor Dragon City.

Wei Jin the only son of Wei Fan. And Wei Fan is the third elder of the Wei Familly. His mother died from childbirth complications.

Although Wei Jin had the status of being a young master of the Wei Family, both his social and family status was very low, due to him being unable to cultivate.

As one of the 3 Great families of the Metro Dragon City, the Wei family had a large collection of cultivation methods with all five attributes (Fire, Wood, Earth, Water, Metal). But sadly Wei Jin was unable to cultivate any of the 5 attribute methods.

Wei Fan invited many doctors to inspect Wei Jin's body but no one could find out why he couldn't cultivate. Normally if a person could not cultivate this meant that his meridians or dantian where either damaged or crippled. But Wei Jin's meridians and dantain where perfectly healthy.

Some doctors suggested that Wei Jin had an affinity towards attribute other than the five elements like Wind or Lightning. But other doctors argued against that as such an affinity would be shown in his dantain as Wind Qi or Lightning Qi.

Eventually, most doctors gave up on him and Wei Jin's status plummeted.

Those who he considered friends turned on him and ridiculed him.

Even the servants showed little respect for him.

Eventually, even his father started to ignore him. He was asked to move out of the mansion of the third elder to a small rundown courtyard. Everyday 3 meals would be placed at his doorstep.

Wei Jin experienced despair, several times he entertained the idea of suicide.

Other than eating and sleeping the only thing did was try to cultivate.

Due to him cultivating carelessly he suffered Qi rebound and died. A few seconds after his death Everlasting took over his body.

Everlasting examined his new body to find out why Wei Jin could not cultivate.

When he found out what was wrong he did not know whether to laugh or cry.

'A Celestial Eclipse Dantain, to think the body that I got will have one of the rarest mutated dantain.'

The reason why Wei Jin could not cultivate is that his attribute is Eclipse type.

Some call this dantain a cursed dantain some call it a blessed dantain.

Its called a blessed dantain because the Eclipse Qi it produces is one of the strongest Qi to be ever recorded. Those who possess this type of dantain have combat ability 10 times that of a person with an ordinary dantain, with the same cultivation level.

But because Eclipse Qi is so strong, a massive amount of natural Qi is needed to create even a single strand of it. This naturally makes cultivation harder. Even at the beginning stages of cultivation, a person who has Celestial Eclipse Dantain needs at least 20 times the qi needed by a person an ordinary dantain. And the amount Qi needed will increase exponentially as the person's cultivation increases.

Everlasting browsed through his memory to see if he had ever studied any Eclipse Qi Merit law. He had researched a few.

His old body was that of a Lotus. It was a treasure of heaven and earth.

Some treasure of heaven and earth are highly suitable for cultivation. But some are not. Everlasting fell in the latter category. His body was extremely unsuitable for cultivation.

So he researched a wide variety of Merit Law to create one suitable for himself. Eventually researching Merit Law became his hobby.

None of the Eclipse Qi Merit Law that he remembered satisfied him. Some of them sacrificed combat power for cultivation speed, while others did the opposite.

'Do I have to create a Merit Law again.'

'Eclipse, Eclipse, there has to be a good Eclipse Qi Merit Law, maybe I can combine some of these techniques and...'

It was at that moment that he remembered a beast core that he took/stole from his older brother Solar.

This was the core of a very rare beast called Eclipsing Hydra.

He vividly remembered the engravings on the beast core. As he got older and did more research on it he found out that this was, in fact, the Merit Law of the Eclipsing Hydra. Everlasting named this Merit law Eclipsing Hydronic Chart.

Although the effects of this Merit Law are great only the Eclipsing Hydra can cultivate it.

The part of the reason why the Eclipsing Hydra is called Eclipsing is that it cultivates Eclipse Qi. Another reason is that it eats celestial bodies, such as stars and planets causing the illusion of an eclipse.

'Since I have a Celestial Eclipse Dantain theoretically I should be able to cultivate. But there is a chance for me to die for cultivation rebound. So before I try to cultivate it I should first improve the toughness of my body.'

While he was thinking of ways to improve the toughness of his body a lightbulb went off in his head.
