53 Chapter 53: Summoning Skill

The pieces of ground collided in the rock giant's body creating a loud sound. The rock giant didn't want to lose as it picked up a destroyed tree and threw it at the snake's direction

With the snake's defense, these trees should only make superficial wounds, but it hit the part where the snake doesn't have any scales. The rock giant is already more powerful than the snake, yet the latter have some injuries. It was easy to see what the outcome will be if nothing unexpected happened

The snake has a fierce temper though and although it was at a disadvantage, it still charged at its enemy. The rock giant threw a punch after the snake was close enough to it. This made its enemy a bit disoriented, but the snake still continued

It once again wrapped its body on the rock monster and mana covered its fang causing it to glow with a blue light. The snake bit on the hard rock and spit out pieces of rock that it destroyed

However, the rock giant is not a biological creature of flesh and blood. It didn't bleed and the bite attack of the snake only caused minimal damage

The snake tried constricting the giant's body again but how can it be easy to destroy such a hard body?

Thus, the snake was bullied by the rock giant that removed it from its body and slammed it on the ground. An arrow of blood flew out from the snake's mouth and the rock giant continuously threw punches all over its body

The snake has a large reserve of vitality too and it wasn't that easy to kill. It tried moving away from the rock giant but was not able to

The rock giant put its feet on the snake's body and exerted pressure on it to prevent the snake from escaping

The snake can only wiggle its body as the rock giant continuously punched it to death

Caizher who was watching this emerged from the ground. He channeled dark energies on his sword and readied his skill while charging at the snake's direction

"[Darkness Style: Dark Thrust!]" For added power, Caizher jumped in the air and gravity boosted his sword's power

The image of a raging demonic snake formed from his sword and he used it to attack the snake's head. Caizher literally 'kill steal' from the rock giant but he needs to do this

Seeing another 'pesky pest' the rock giant threw another punch at Caizher. However, unlike the giant snake, Caizher's body is much smaller and nimbler. It was very easy to dodge the rock fist

After some time, the snake's body finally fully dissipated and just like what Caizher expected, it left an item

It was a snake like ring and Caizher's arm grew longer to pick it up. After attaining his goal, it was now time for Caizher to escape and turned into his beast form

The rock giant is slow and Caizher easily escaped from it using the terrain to his advantage

After a few minutes, he returned to the lizardmen village and now, only around seventy lizards survived. A single tail whip of the snake was enough to kill several lizards

This made Caizher a bit dissatisfied as he poured a lot of effort on making these dark lizardmen. Fortunately, all the lizard bosses managed to survive

"Master!" Shaina greeted and heaved a sigh of relief at seeing that he was still alive

"I'm fine, the snake has been taken care of already" Caizher said while waving his hand. "Just continue whatever you all are doing"

With his order, Shaina and the lizardmen continued their own training. The event with this snake made Shaina to realize how weak she is and gave her an urge to continue going forward and make herself more powerful

Looking at the ring he won, Caizher doesn't have an idea how to use it. In the novels the protagonist will use their blood to claim ownership on the treasure but Caizher does not have any blood

He can only try using it by pouring mana on the snake ring. As he channeled his mana on it, a stream of information was transmitted on his mind by the ring and he now knows how to use it

Caizher wore it on his finger and channeled his mana on it again. He holds out his arm and opened his palm causing a magic circle to appear

As Caizher imagined what kind if snake he wants to summon, in just a second, a small snake came out from the magic circle with the price of his mana

The snake was only as around 6 inches but Caizher just used it to practice. The sensation of summoning something traveled on his body and he tried again

This time, Caizher imagined a three meters tall snake and a snake that big really came out albeit with the cost of a huge chunk of his mana

This time, instead of normal mana, Caizher used his dark energies and imagined a six meters long snake. This time, the snake finds it harder to exit the summoning circle and it also used up a lot of Caizher's dark energies

With difficulty, the snake finally came out. On all the snakes he summoned, Caizher felt some sort of connection with them and he tried giving out orders through that connection

The snakes intertwined with each other causing a bit of a disgusting sight. When Caizher looked at the six meters long snake, he noticed that it was different than the others

It has a darker color of scales and a dark menacing eye. Caizher can feel essence of darkness on its body and knew that it was a creature of darkness

Seems like with dark energies, Caizher can summon creatures of darkness

Caizher willed it and the snakes dissipated into specks of light and vanished. Maintaining their existence here in this world also consumed Caizher's energy

The man rested for a while and after a few hours, played with the snake ring again. Every summoning he made was making him more familiar with the process

Although snake summoning was done with the help of the snake ring, and one can say that almost all of the work was done by the ring and Caizher only provided it with 'fuel' but the man is still the one that summoned them!

The more familiar Caizher becomes to the summoning process, the stronger snake he can summon with lesser price

After some time, Caizher is a bit familiar on the summoning process and went to try something

A small piece of his darkness hovered from his palm and Caizher took a deep breath. "Oh, corrupted ones, heed your Monarch's call and be his weapon!"

"[Dark Summoning!]" Caizher holds out his palm and a very small summoning gate appear. It was only as big as a human's palm and was extremely unstable

Caizher tried to make the gate bigger and stabilize it but was unsuccessful. The gate dissipated into black specks of light after just a few seconds

Caizher was dissatisfied that he failed but still heaved a sigh of relief as he had some improvement. He tried the summoning ability part of the [Monarch of Dark Creatures] before but he failed without anything happening

But with the help of the snake ring, he had some progress and even caused the gate to appear. It was much better than before. With practice and training, there would surely come a day that Caizher will be able to summon powerful creatures

Deciding to work hard again, Caizher tried summoning dark creatures over and over again until he was exhausted

After a few hours and the night already arrived, Caizher was still unsuccessful. He still cannot make the gate bigger, but he managed to stabilize it for a few seconds before it becomes unstable again and dissipate

Caizher is already tired but he wants to have more progress. His corruption already took a large chunk of his time but now, he also has his summoning to train. As Caizher don't want his own power to fall behind, he must have progress on the three

Thinking of this, although he was tired, Caizher still head back outside the dungeon to ask for Dera's help. In the first place, the lich's forte is summoning skeletons to fight for her

Although the system of power was different but Caizher might still be able to learn one or two things from her. With the sword on his hand, Caizher killed all the creatures blocking his way. He didn't even care if they dropped something or remained a corpse and just continued on his way

With progress on his corruption and summoning ability, it also gave progress on his own combat power as he become more skillful in using mana and dark energies

Exiting the dungeon, Caizher immediately went to find Dera. When he saw the lich, his face twitch at seeing what she is doing

The lich was holding a big bone on her hand while Kyle doesn't have his bottom clothing. Caizher can see how red the man's round buttocks is. There was even a bone mark on it

It seems like Dera used the large bone on her hand to spank the unfortunate man. The lich seeing her master bowed her head. "What can I do for master?" Her dominant attitude towards Kyle vanished and become extremely subservient when it comes to Caizher

"Uh ... hello?" Caizher asked awkwardly and Kyle put his hands on his face. The embarrassment from Caizher seeing him in this situation brought was too much for him to handle

The man literally cried at the 'ruthless Dera' for causing him to be in this kind of situation. Kyle also regretted not listening to the lich

Dera said that he would be punished if he doesn't treat his spell practice seriously and really trained on it. He thought that Dera would at most scold him, but he didn't know that he would be spanked like a child and using a big bone at that!

Although .... he needs to admit that the spanking part is quite .... enjoyable for him. Even now that Caizher saw him in this situation, he was very embarrassed but also felt that it was quite 'wild'

"L-let's talk outside?" Caizher awkwardly said and Dera nodded her head before giving Kyle one last spanking using the bone on her hand

The man gasp from both the sensation and the thought that another person saw him in this kind of situation. Caizher had goosebumps all over his body at seeing something like this

When he and Dera reached outside, Caizher didn't beat around the bush and stated what he needs. "Teach me your summoning spell"

Maybe, the reason why he can't summon any dark creatures was because the summoning skill included on his manual is much more superior and higher levelled. He wants to try learning the 'basic' first like how Dera summoned her skeletons

Dera's eyes glowed at the thought that her 'craft' and 'art' will be learned by other people. "Yes, yes! I will teach master!" The lich said happily while thinking badly of Kyle

She wants to teach Kyle, but the latter always complained. Just look at her master, the man is eager to learn the thing she excelled the most

"Master first needs to memorize the chant. Beginners will have longer chant but the more you progressed, the lesser time you would need to summon creatures"

Dera then started teaching Caizher the chant. For the man, the chant is quite foreign and full of gibberish words, but he still memorized it on his mind

As Caizher is really intelligent even before the apocalypse. It was easy for him to memorize two or three sentences and memorized the chant in no time
