As the days passed by, Nick had finally decided to himself that it was time for him to experience a real life and death situation. Where his potential might be unleashed.

He had no positive thoughts of getting stronger while he stays at Shadebrook Town, as he plays with the Strauss siblings. Although he enjoyed their company, he needed to get stronger for something that he doesn't even know the reason for.

Although he can use ten elements that are only restricted to using the existing skills he already had. His goal is to be able to manipulate them freely, especially the stronger elements like space and time.

Nick is also aware that there are more elements that he needs to discover, and one of them is ice. Which he didn't know how to use.

His magic was slightly similar to make magic but it was a bit different as well, although he can make something based on his elements, that is only if it is a skill. Like his [Wind Blade], he can create a blade made of air and can completely control it, but aside from that, he can't do anything.

He had already tried combining all of them but it only ended with an, even more, bigger blade, he also tried to change it's shape, although he was successful he lost control over it which ended up almost destroying the whole forest.

Nick's relationship with the Strauss siblings was very good, especially with Mirajane or Mira. Although they were still young and inexperienced, Nick had already given his first kiss of passion with Mira.

At that time, his mind went blank for a moment and all he could feel was the soft lips of Mira touching his. The kiss was a quick one but Nick clearly tasted that her kiss was quite sweet and he was honestly looking forward to more.

After that little incident, Mira became even closer to him as he was now acting very clingy towards him. Nick did not hate it though but rather he even loves it. He really likes the feeling of her soft breast bouncing up and down in his arms when she hugs his arm.

Just as he was thinking about it, he suddenly felt a pair of softballs pressed to his back. Since he was sitting while facing the window of their tree house which had literally become his favorite place to spend most of his time.

A pair of smooth and small hands were covering his eyes, there was also a refreshing smell of lavender assaulting his nose. He then felt a hot blow of air on his right ear and he heard a sweet yet slightly flirtatiously manner.

"Guess who~?" Even without hearing her say that, Nick had already guessed who it was. She is the only one daring enough to do that to him, the one who was called the 'Demon Child'.

"Mira" She then removed her hands from his eyes. Nick stood up and turn around, he looked at Mira with a smile. Mira nodded at him.

"So you are really going huh? Can't I go with you?" Mira said. When she remembers him saying that he will be leaving to train the first thing she said was she is going with him.

But Nick didn't want her to be in danger so he told her that she should stay behind and look after her little brother and sister. They are still quite young and still need someone to depend on.

Even though Mira was only a year older that Elfman but she had matured early so she capable of taking care of them.

"I'll be leaving tomorrow and no. You can't come with me but I promise but I will return quickly." Nick said to her.

His training will be really harsh even to himself and the reason that he is doing this is to really find out why he is craving to become the strongest. He had no parents and he can't even remember if he even had one.

The only family that he could think of is Mira and the others as they were the only one that had truly made him feel the warmness that he had never felt before. So he had set aside his goal of becoming stronger as a way to protect them from any harm.

Mira also knows about this so she stayed silent and the two of them didn't talk for a long time.

The only thing that can be heard will be the occasional chirping of birds or the distant howling of some beasts. The two of them, one looking at the other while the other one was looking outside.

Although it was quite a nonsense, the two of them have enjoyed this peace for a few minutes before it was disrupted by the loud voice of the overly cheerful girl.

"Onee-chan, onee-chan." Lisanna came barging in the treehouse. She was looking very excited and a bit more cheerful than usual, something good might have happened.

She came towards the Mira and noticed that Nick was also here, she was so happy that she will not be looking for them separately.

"Great! Nick-nii-chan is also here. Follow me quickly I found something very good." She didn't explain any further as she hurriedly got out of the treehouse.

Nick and Mira can only helplessly follow her and look at her antics. Nick had decided to let Christmas pass first before he leaves for his training. He will not be seeing them for a while so spending more time with them is good.

He will worry about his training later.
