my entire body felt weak, my arms were barely dragging me along as I struggled.

the blast happened so fast I barely had any time to do anything, only managing to survive by making a hasty shield, if the blast had gone on for any longer I'd have been screwed.

somehow subject 6 was still alive, barely.

but happily for me I didn't have the time to think about it for long, a rustling of bushes and sounds of steps sending me into action, jumping all the way down to the ground faster than gravity could pull me, I grabbed Raya and jumped ourselves behind bushes, muffling her moans as she KEPT GOING!

from out behind some bushes flew an insanely beautiful girl, who was....indisposed in.....questionable acts in the open view.

"miss are you ok?"(head adventurer)

"no! he threw me!"(odd naked girl)

a heavy sigh and another bush rustle came before a boy walked out into view.

"(sigh) please ignore her, I have no idea what's going on.....(gesturing at the girl).....there."(strange boy)

my party and I exchanged odd glances as two of us placed their hands on their weapons, drawing out each of their boosts.

"ok I see, you don't trust this, perfectly fine I understand, im just gonna go ahead and leave now, please take her home."(strange boy)

"SYN NO!"(odd naked girl)

so this boys name was sin?....syn?....why something like that? were my guesses right?

he groaned and looked back at the girl so his name was sin.

"so sin, you know this girl?"(head adventurer)

"names spelled with a y for some reason, but yes I do know her, unfortunately."(syn)

"odd name."(head adventurer)

his eyes were the opposite of human, cold, dangerous, reptilian and hungry, but he was more human than the bandits I was tracking, it was funny, bandits used to be a problem thousands of years ago and now it seems they've made a comeback.

Syn muttered something under his breath, something I didn't quite catch.

oh yeah, it was my last year of my peaceful decade that I'd last seen a bandit or adventurer, I was so weak back then, don't know if those were good times entirely.

he sounds like a cliche posh English aristocrat, it would be hilarious if he wasn't a rich kid and just up and one day started talking like this.

walking over I grabbed the ear ring and removed it, immediately feeling an urge to get close to myself and to do everything I can for them, that I'd need them, myself?

I crushed the thing in my fingers, an odd mist escaping into the air for a moment before I inhaled it strongly and held my breath for a while, 40 ish minutes to be exact, all this while seeming normal and following the adventurer group and Raya, who was now so red faced she looked like a walking cherry as she pulled on her clothes more, as if trying to hide.

releasing the breath I'd been holding I re engaged in talking with the group.

"so Raya."(syn)

she jumped as she put her head down, not making eye contact.

"you're usually so confident and alive, what happened?"(syn)

she didn't make a sound as we walked, this was getting fun, I forgot how amusing her reactions were.

"so where we headed?"(syn)

"to the city of hydro."(head adventurer)

the fact that he said that with a straight face made me nearly burst out laughing, oh.....he's actually serious, I guess good names for stuff and places is a purely past practice.

"why did we bring them along?"(female adventurer) asked in a hushed voice.

"I was curious."(head adventurer)

I might actually like this dude, depending on what happens when we get there I might not be liking him anymore.
