"how the fuck does that even work?"(syn) I asked Raya.

"Amira has changed a bit."(Raya) awkwardly said.

"that's it?! that's the answer you're giving me?"(syn)

I was still so shocked that Amira and the dragon girl were a thing, and having a kid, wait, why am I so caught up on this?

"why do you even care?"(Raya)

"I don't know, why don't you?!"(syn) I told her honestly, I had no idea why I cared about this topic, none.

she ended the conversation, not answering my question, just kept walking forward silently, slightly faster and faster as the tavern came into view, slowly getting larger and larger on the horizon.

the walk was now so quiet that crickets chirping in the distance wouldn't be out of place.

finally we reached the tavern, took us a matter of minutes, really long minutes, Raya walking inside and sitting us at a table.

once situated she turned to me and started talking.

"alright the guy were looking for is a large brute of a man, I've been cucking him for a while now and he'll pretty much do whatever I tell him to."(Raya)

"the fuck prompted that information?!"(syn) I asked her, somewhat horrified.

"I know you'll eventually ask about his behavior around me, so I figured I'd just get it out of the way."(Raya) responded calmly.

"next time just leave me in the dark."(syn)

I did not want more information like that from her, no thank you.

I stood, telling Raya I was heading to the bar, stealing money from a passing dudes pocket as I started walking to the bar, he didn't even notice.

grabbing a bar stool and sitting I ordered the strongest drink they had, shotting it in one go, impressing the people next to me.

"you sure can drink!"(elven girl) next to me said, moving a bit closer, her cleavage almost in my face.

I didn't respond or acknowledge her as I ordered another drink, doing that one in one go as well.

"you look like you need a distraction."(elven girl) said, changing her voice to sound more erotic.

"I'm fine, thanks. I just wanna sit here and drink."(syn)

she looked disappointed but kept somewhat close, her cleavage still a fingers length away, people are annoying.

I placed the money on the counter and walked back to Raya, sitting down opposite her like before and sighing as I sat down.

I didn't even have a second to do anything before she pulled me Into a deep and passionate kiss, something we didn't normally do.

her tongue and mine danced playfully as I let myself be lost in the sensation, after what felt like minutes she broke away, leaving a very confused me looking like an idiot half across a table.

"what?!"(syn) I said, still confused as I sat down fully in my seat.

"some guys had been hitting on me, and the guy we need walked by."(Raya)

I had no idea what to think anymore, I didn't even know what to feel about this.

"you sure are something else."(syn) I told her.

she rolled her eyes and went back to watching the crowd, I followed suit, scanning the crowd as well.

the elven girl at the bar looked beyond disappointed, no one else really giving us another glance, that was until I saw a large guy giving me a jealous glare.

"I found your guy."(syn)

she thanked me and stood, walking over to where I'd pointed him out to her, striking up a conversation.

I could listen in if I wanted to but something told me that would not be a good idea, so I trusted it, not eavesdropping.

the conversation only lasted about 30 seconds before the guy left, coming back a minute later with a large bag almost four times the size of mine and hers, happily walking behind Raya.

the elven girl following behind the large dude, out of Rayas view, but I caught sight of her.

"no, you're not coming with."(syn) I told the blonde, curvy elf girl.

Raya looked surprised before following where I was looking, remaining surprised as she looked at the girl.

"what's a high elf doing this far south?"(Raya)

"looking for a man, why else would I be anywhere like this?"(elf girl)

Raya and the girl got into a stare down, me and the other dude just standing there watching.

"wait outside?"(syn) I asked him.

"wait outside."(large brute) confirmed.

both of us left the tavern, chilling against its outside walls, waiting, glad at our decision.

it took a few minutes but both Raya and the elf girl exited, the elf having a bruise on her eye and Raya looking not at all happy, that must have gone well.

"you can have this brute here, but he's mine!"(Raya) yelled at the elf while pointing at me.

"I want that one!"(elf girl)

"I want peace but no one cares, can we start walking now or what? I don't have time for this!"(syn) I interrupted.

a hurt look on both girls faces, they'll be fine.

all four of us began walking down the road, I stayed towards the back while Raya led, the eld girl keeping pace with Raya, trying to outdo her like it would change anything, the brute looking, well I really don't want to think about hoe he looks right now, it's like being ignored by Raya is....a good thing?
