from the trench emerged what I could only call a shadow giant, the thing was large and dark, not even remotely see through.

the large human like shape took no recognizeable form as it grew.

Raya and the dragon girl still acting as the things voice, its genderless sound and monotone speaking voice were throwing me for a loop as the creature used the two people I didn't hate completely, there were some conflicted feelings here.

taking my defensive stance more seriously I started using my skill, the energy circulating on all cylinders, all that I could, 3 at a time.

I rushed towards the thing and tried a few light attacks, quick flurries of punches that left my hands numb with cold and the thing laughing.

with one wind up of its hand I was swatted through a Boulder behind me, the rock crumbling as my ribs cracked near my spine.

the pain of moving was intense as I sat back up, this was not gonna be easy.

I bolted forward, staying low to the ground, the energy coating my fist as I bobbed and weaved through its shadowy tendrils, the ones that got too close shredding my skin as they passed, my teeth gritting as I kept pushing forward.

I pulled back my fist, readying before I launched it at the thing, my fist making contact, the shockwave blasting me back as the creature laughed through the two girls.

spitting a tooth I glared at the thing.

"you're weak!"(unanimous voice)

this time it rushed me, the towering dark figure destroying trees as it moved, several tendrils shooting at me as it got closer and closer.

I was barely able to dodge all of them, a few impaling me, they started to expand?!

the tendrils were tearing at my skin and pushing against my hearts as they got larger and larger, one of them swiping sideways, tearing me in half, for once in a fight I couldn't hold back my screams of agony, my lower body separating and falling limply as my top half was thrown carelessly, the pain was almost numbing, all my other senses being overwhelmed as it seemed to have no end.

the unanimous voice adopted its laughter, shrinking suddenly, a somewhat questionably dressed woman walking from the shadowy mist.

her clothes were a mix of lingerie and anime villain cloak, it was odd as hell.

"hello there Syn."(Amira)

she stood over me, my voice catching innmy throat as I glared at her through my teary eyes, something I was ashamed of.

she used her heel to impale me, grinding her foot on my chest as I could feel a heart of mine threatening to burst.

a groan escaped my throat as my remaining muscles spasmed.

she grabbed me by the hair and lifted, holding me in the air like a hunting trophy.

"g.o...fu...ck...yo.....ur.....self....."(syn) I choked out as I coughed blood.

my eyes went as wide as they could, my mid was shattered as my entire life came into question.

"I gotta say, you truly are pathetic."(Amira)

her fingers dug deeper into my skull as my arms failed wildly.

failing to actually grab onto her, my strength failing as my pain was finally dimming, my body shutting down.

I gathered all the energy left in my body and began condensing it, this might not work at all but it's worth a try!

the energy had formed a ball tinier than a gold ball and was started to vibrate dangerously, in a last ditch effort I used my failing arms to hold her, somewhat succeeding.

"I'll see you in hell!"(syn) I said, barely able to not pause.

the explosion was blinding, my world was awash with light, heat, and deafening noise.

my ears ringing as my eyes refused to stay open, the burning on my body feeling like a warm blanket as the explosion seemed to last forever, moments seemed to pass slower than eternity, every second an agonizing hour.

in front of me was the remains of...Syn, he was only a head and partial torso, I could see his insides burning as he laid there, I was forzen I place with disbelief.

the drgaon girl looked even more distraught than I did, trembling, she was like me when I was affected by that item, obsessed.

a single tear fell from my face as I faced Amira, she looked like she'd just gotten mild sunburn, she looked annoyed.

"that bastard nearly killed me!"(Amira)

"I kept you safe per our deal, now that he's dead you need to deliver your side."(echoed voice)

I turned to look at my greatest accomplishment, no....No....NO!...NOO!!!

his body had formed an egg around it, a red vine like thing encasing it and dragging it deep into the ground, NO! I can't have failed! he can't be alive!
