94 Arranged Marriage

Chukah ignored the blushed Hepri and they continued to follow after the old man. He led them back to town the people were leaving from and straight into n old building. Before he went in, he looked left and right to make sure everyone had left, then went in.

Chukah and Hepri were following him in his shadow, and except for the sounds of his rhythmic footsteps, there were no other sounds.

The old man reached a wall and tapped his finger on it, and from that point, a circle formed and enlarged and the wall turned fluid.

"Goddess Tesh, I may have found your groom," the old man said.

"..." the wall slightly waved when he finished talking.

The old man knew the person had heard so he obediently waited for an answer.

"Are you sure it is him this time? You have been searching for years after all," sounded out a seductive voice.

The old man trembled from the woman's voice.

"Y-yes, although he was wearing a disguise, I was able to see the similarities he bore to his father."

"Hmm, I'll believe you for one last time, I can only go to your realm once if you make me waste my time..." her voice turned murderous, yet somehow still seductive.

"O-f Of course not, my goddess, but about what you have promised me..."

"Do not fret old man, if it is my husband you have found, then I'll reward you more than simple pleasure," her voice sounded out.

The old man crumbled to the ground, he could not take it anymore. Goddess Tesh was a fertility goddess of sacred ecstasy and pleasure. Her voice was enough to give him a heart attack, and that feeling had thrilled him when the goddess acquired her groom, he'd be living in pleasure.

The wall stiffened back to normal, returning back to solid concrete.

The old man was laying on the ground, immersed in euphoria, and did not notice the figures of Hepri and Chukah coming out from the ground. They were both using their powers, Chukah as half a jackal, and Hepri with his head a large beetle.

Hepri's form had confused Chukah quite a bit, but he'd save it to make fun of him later.

"Nasty old man, get the hell up!" spat out Hepri, he was extremely disgusted by the old man.

To Hepri, the old man was trying to give away Tria as a groom, and that had infuriated him, if it was not for Chukah, he would have fed him to his children already, and not even leave bones.

"Arrrgghhh!" the old man cried out in horror when he saw the beastly form of the two. He tried to run, but how could he outrun a jackal and a celestial one at that? He was pinned down by Chukah after two steps.

Chukah growled at the man's face then said, "Who are you trying to give away as a groom, are you blind?"

"Wha-What are y-you t-talking about? I d-don't know what you are talking?" the man lied.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Hepri mocked him, "old nasty man, I can have my children eat you up limb by limb, and you won't even feel it, I suggest you speak out."

Chukah who was maintaining a serious composure had his face twisted when he heard Hepri mock the man, 'can you be more threatening please, I don't think that'll scare him?' he said to Hepri.

"Alright, let's try this one more time," Hepri said getting serious," Who was that and why are you trying to give away our little brother to her?" He held on to the man, and his beetle face opened up showing rows sharp teeth.

"I'll tell you, I'll tell you! That was Goddess Tesh, she had given me the job, well not just more, many people across the lands to find her husband. Apparently, they were arranged in marriage since birth, but she never got a chance to meet him."

"Ok so? Do you think our lil bro is that groom she has been searching for?"

"Lil bro? oh that's who you two were, you are also with him, but I wasn't talking about the kid though," said the old man looking at the two confused beasts.
