“Well, the matter has passed. Are you ready to talk to Donovan?” Ava looked at her father gratefully.

“I need some time. Then I'll go and apologize to him myself.” Ava finished speaking, asking to stay in her own room.

“Drew, should we tell Cruz?” Jess asked her husband, eagerly.

“Not yet, not today. I don't think Ava will be ready for this right away...maybe you need some time. And clear with Donovan first…” Jess nodded understandingly.
