8 Pride of a New Start

Izuku is going to the U.A. dormitory within the next two days and he is getting ready to control his quirk, his quirk is dangerous enough to warrant attention from the top heroes, so he is getting training on how to use it properly as he can. He grabs what is essential and was excited about it while he is saddened he has to leave his mom, it would be for the better and it's for her safety. His mom was cheerful as always but he noticed the sadness that gleams in her eyes which is why they have always been doing things together and visiting places in these past few days. His mother also changed and became braver as she started exercising to better herself. He can tell that his mother is proud of him that he can become a hero. An idea that turned into reality.

"Izuku, make sure you also bring an extra toothbrush and an extra shampoo too." He can hear his mother's voice with care and helps him arrange his things and with that he is ready to go.

"Mom, I'm gonna go now." Standing on his home's doorstep that has protected him always now he has felt the nostalgia and will miss the warmth of it. He can feel her mother's hug and hugs him in return. They cried and cried until there was no more. No words are exchanged just a gesture filled with care and affection.

"Go now, Izuku. I have a surprise on your way down to our gate." Her mom winked at him with slight mischievousness that he will surely miss. He nods and tries to say something but this time he just smiles. Her mother smiles in return and he goes down to go to U.A.

"Izuku! I will accompany you until you reached U.A." He saw Momo who was waiting for him. She sounded excited and wearing cute clothes that genuinely suit her. He waves at her and he can feel his temperature rising.

"Thank you, Momo. I really appreciate this." The butler opened the cars for them and Izuku feels overwhelmed by this. Momo gestures to go inside and he does. Momo follows and sits beside him. 'Close, too close. Momo has a really huge boo-'His thoughts were interrupted when he saw Momo looking at him with a huge blush on her face. 'She knows!!!'

Momo's Point of View

Izuku is going to U.A. and I got a message from her mother that he will be going there in advance to control his quirk much better. Nezu also left a message that Midoriya should not be interrupted during his training it basically means she will become a nuisance and any communications are prohibited. She has to wait until the U.A. formally welcomes them as 1st year. She will miss him so much that's why she took her chance and going on a date before he goes to U.A. 'I got the love magazine. I will not fail.'

Her plans that she made are what follows: Stroll inside a car, eat lunch in her favorite restaurant, and go to a nearby park until afternoon and send him to U.A. The most important thing is the afternoon kiss that might happen. Izuku was in danger without her for two months and just training. He might meet someone and put a leash on her Izuku. 'My Izuku. It doesn't sound too bad. My plan will prevail.'

Unfortunately, it all failed and now they are in the park just like that. It was going good in the car until her father called her and observed them inside the vehicle using a camera inside a vehicle connected to his computer. When they went to get something to eat inside her favorite restaurant, it made Izuku uncomfortable. It seems he is overwhelmed by the restaurant she always goes to. It is a little extravagant and a 5* fine dining but that makes it the best. Not to mention, Izuku was standing out and it made him more uncomfortable. It is good that the weather is fine and cloudy but her plan did not work at all.

They are in the park and Izuku is playing in the swing. She is just glad there are not too many people in the park and the park is theirs for now.

"Momo, it's been a fun time going around here with you." Izuku looks at her and she can tell there was no lie in his words.

"It didn't work out. The lunch and it's awkward in the car right now with my dad monitoring our every move." She cannot help but feel disappointed. It seems Izuku noticed it and has worry spelled on his face as always his emotions are always on his sleeves.

"Momo, want to walk to school together from here?" Izuku tells her and she smiles as it was a good idea to do so. They will be doing it in the future so it's good training now.

"Alright, Izuku. Let's go." She grabbed his hand and started walking. It is a long walk but it doesn't matter when doing so she told her butler that they will be walking and respected her wishes.

"After going to U.A. it seems you are going to concentrate on training." Momo opens the conversation while holding his hand. She can feel his nervousness and almost the beat of his heart from those rough hands.

"Yes, I will be. My quirk is dangerous to not be honed and I might put the people around me in danger." He finds the hands of Momo to be relaxing. He is undoubtedly nervous and he knows that he is blushing hard but there is something about Momo that makes him relax this much.

They talked about heroes and quirks. Mostly, Izuku talked while Momo listened. She learned that Izuku is really smart when analyzing quirks. Hence, she believes his quirk must be troublesome as Izuku points out that his quirk is not easily controlled. On the way to school, she notices her feelings for Izuku are getting intense as time goes by. She doesn't want to let it go. She can see the gates of U.A. now. She is not going to see him for quite some time. She needs to act. She needs to do it now.

"Momo, we are already in here." She hears Izuku and looks into his eyes. Pulls him closer. Letting go of his hand and pulls his neck towards her using both of her arms and kisses him. The kiss was clumsy and she closes her eyes. The kiss felt long and then she felt Izuku responded awkwardly with his own lips. It was done before anyone noticed.

"U-u-ummm…" Izuku was startled and his face was red all over the same thing can be said to Momo. Momo turned her back so fast and walked away faster.

"I-Izuku! Good luck at your training!!" when she was far enough she gave Izuku one more cheer before his training and she started running after that.

Momo was glad. The three months will fly fast, and when it's done, she will claim the prize.

Izuku's Point of View

Momo ran away after that. 'What exactly happened? What? Why? Momo suddenly kissed me!!' Izuku keeps touching his lips. Keeping that sensation in his mind and trying to see if he is still in reality and when suddenly he felt a presence in front of the gate it was All Might, Nezu and Recovery Girl.

[Come here, Midoriya-shounen] All Might signal him to go inside.

"Midoriya, be careful with your body not to get too excited." Recovery Girl said and at that point Izuku knows that they saw. His embarrassment when up so high he was red as a tomato. 'Ahh…they saw. I wanna die.'

"Welcome to U.A." Nezu calls him and begins to laugh. The atmosphere became easygoing at that point.

They lead Midoriya to his dorm while he sees heroes and everything else and was feeling grateful that these powerful people took the time to greet him at the gate and lead him to his room.

"This is your room." Nezu opened the room and it was gorgeous. The design was simple but it was huge. It has its own kitchen, dining room and even a living room and in the living room the people who guided him sat down and urged him to do the same.

"Midoriya, you are here to train your Sunshine quirk for it is more dangerous than your All for One. We have assigned trainers for you every day within these three months and I will check you up always." Izuku can feel that the training will be intense if Recovery Girl is going to visit him every day.

"Midoriya-kun, you will have two additional trainers. One is to help you if somehow your Sunshine goes unstable and the other one is to help you tone your body. All Might here is a prodigy and the greatest thing that he can teach you is how to be a hero but as a teacher, in other things I do not really recommend. He is on another level when picking things up." He sees Nezu look at his clock and he can hear someone knocking on the door.

The first one to come in was a renowned hero with an athletic build with muscular arms and legs with her tanned skin, red eyes with long eyelashes and straight white hair reaching her waist. She has a pair of long white rabbit ears pointing upwards with a slight crook on her head. Overall, her design gives a definite resemblance to an albino rabbit, the top 5 hero; Mirko, the rabbit hero. Izuku definitely knows her as she is always on the news and commercials too.

The hero behind her was a tall, voluptuous woman with sky blue eyes. A lot of spiky dark purple hair was made of layers of varying lengths. She also has a small beauty mark below her left eyes and this hero was highly renowned as the R-18 hero, Midnight.

[Midoriya-shounen, we will not waste time to drill things on you and even if you are tired you need to train and train.] Nezu and Recovery Girl excuse themselves to get out of the room.

All Might stood and the pressure in the room intensified. Izuku knows now this is the real deal. The number one hero who heroes admired and criminals feared.

This is his teacher. All Might.
