11 A Higher Power

I thought that maybe Jessi would help me out with the trouble I was in, but at the opposite, he made it worse because, the police knew that I wasn't far from that city, and they tightened the searching circle.

I was treating lightly my actions and taking cautious, plus I had to change my clothes and my look again so I can focus on my plan which was going to the Chinese quarter MOWIAH.

I was making my way through people to integrate with them and heading to the costume shop but before that, I deposed my old look and returned to the serious detective.

I didn't think that the police was smart enough to keep watching the stores of the costumes and the masks because when I got there, far away from the store there was a black car with dark windows; it belonged to the police, I always used to work with it, because it was more heroic and mysterious.

I didn't have a choice but to risk everything and go to stop the bomb, with some of the help from a person I knew.

I didn't call Sara on the phone because it was too dangerous; all the calls were on watch, so I did back to the building, I went on the stairs and when I was about to knock on the door I heard some noise inside the room, I took a look from the keyhole and saw Sara tortured by three cops, I recognized the son of a bitch who was responsible for that; he was Suho Sora, hurt and injured but still doing his best to arrest me and take his vengeance.

If I found another person I would have escaped but since he was Suho I cracked the door and made my way inside the room, I didn't wait or think, directly I took my gun and put a bullet in his head.

Sara was a half-naked because of those corrupted policemen, they were surprised by me and they started shooting at me, -but thanks to the couch I was hidden by, they couldn't hit me, they forgot about Sara, and that's was their mistake.

We were on the gun shoots commutation, suddenly Sara smashed the head of one of the cops and knocked him out, and that's distracted the other one for me to take him down with a shot in the head and two in the heart.

I hugged Sara and she also did to me, I remarked all of the torturing stuff on the floor; she suffered a lot before I arrived but she didn't pin a word about me.

"Hey! You are not safe now, you should come with me" I said to her and she nodded with her head in affirmation and began to put her clothes on.

It didn't take a long time for the cops to come and surrounded the building with the helicopter in the sky –I can't lie, I felt so excited but sad at the same time because at that moment I lost everything-.

I and Sara kneeled and put our hands on the heads till they entered the room.

"She has nothing with me! Let her go!" I started shouting at the cops who were cuffing Sara, and she kept crying and crying, I knew it was the end.

They cuffed me and took me to the van, there was no benefit of resisting, so I did what they wanted, and entered the van.

- I want to say that I meted Maximas there and he told me that he believes in me and we saved everyone, or I started hitting the cops and ran away to save the world like in the movies, but none of that happened-

Monday, September 8, 2020, at 10:00 am, I took a ride with the police in their van to the jail and waited six hours for my trial.

They didn't wear me good clothes and took me to the judicator, but before that, they asked me if I want to assign an advocate and I didn't want to.

They opened the doors and deposed my cuffs on me; I walked in and sat on the bench, waiting for the questions.

to be honest, I wasn't there, I was having a tour in my mind pales, watching all the memories I had good or bad, and -confirmed that all of my life I was on the evil side because if we concentrate more, I wasn't the first man who entered the jail on injustice way, those people let the true criminals free because they don't want to do the right things, they always do the easy things and don't give a fuc* about the justice or the people, all of what they care about is themselves-.

The letter I received it from my son had many information, not just the quarter of the bomb but the time and the exact place, and the chosen man to understand all of this was me because the right place for the bomb was our secrete place for me and my son when he was a kid.

The right time was 22 hours after the second blowup since the code was the 2*2 grid Cipher.

The judge said, "Do you want to say something defending on yourself?"

I was about to tell them about the next bomb which was going to destroy their country, we had less than 9 hours before the burst and it was enough to deactivate the bomb but people like them didn't deserve to live –I'm sure that if I told them, they will accuse me of putting it there-.

"Nothing to say," I said while smiling.

"Oh! I remembered! The woman who you arrested her with me, I forced her to keep silent; she has nothing to do with this." I added.

They silenced for a moment and the judge said "Mr. Ted Pinkman…" I interrupted him "Josh! Please, my name is Josh"

He continued "you are accused by killing 100 people and injuring 100 other, after the discussion with the jury commission, by the rules of our charter I must choose if you want the jail forever or the dispatch.

"Dispatch is good, thank you," I said coldly without giving careful though the subject was my life.

The guard came and cuffed me, taking me to the armored van where I found 5 special agency cops waiting for me, I entered the van and we started moving to the next and the final spot; the dispatch center.

I was descending my head and the moment I raised it and looked at one of the cops, I recognized his eyes; it impossible for me to forget my son's eyes.

He winked and suddenly he and the other one started shooting at all the cops in the backside of the van with no exception until they killed them all.

He removed his mask and said "I never surrender on you dad", I wasn't wrong he was Todd.

He jumped at me to hug me and I pushed him away, the van stilled moving; I looked at the driver worrying about him till he removed his mask also and looked at me and smiled; she was Sara.

I was in shock "What about the mister? Do I know you?" I asked the other man who was sitting beside Todd and stilled wearing his mask.

"I'm not going to remove my mask to recognize me," he said, he was right because Maximas wasn't in need to remove his mask; he has a special voice "Maximas? What the fuc*!"

All of them started laughing at me, I didn't understand a shit.

"Sara? What are you doing here? Could anyone tell me what the hell is happening?" I asked and shouted.

"Aren't you the clever detective here? Solve it" Maximas said ironically.

"Just where are we going?" I asked.

Todd answered "We are leaving the country"

"What!" I wondered.

"Father, I believe that you know what my plan is, right?" I nodded affirmatively, he continued "and I believe that you knew where exactly where the bomb is but you didn't tell the police".

I started understanding a little bit "But who are you, people?"

"We are not a terrorist but you can say that we are the chosen by God to make justice in the world, and I can tell that the world war about to happen with China is the right punishment for the response in our country because of the destruction they did for more than 10 countries in the entire world and all of the development on the back of the other countries," he explained.

"But! What about the innocent people… and your mother" I asked.

"There must be sacrifices, and for my mother, I told you before, we represent the Justice," he said coldly.

I sighed and didn't find what to say, I closed my eyes and without consciousness, I blacked out.

—Suddenly, Ted opened his eyes and found himself beside his wife Margot; he shocked and spoke to himself "What! All of that was a dream! I never experienced a long dream like that before with many details in it" he stood up and went to the kitchen to prepare a coffee, he called his son Todd, again and again, but without answer, and he remembered the rose robe of his wife; it was like Déja vue, but more clearness.

He started ascending the stairs and remembering all the details of the dream he had, the moment that he arrived at Todd's room he opened the door and hidden.

As he thought, he found Todd swinging from the roof with a rope but this time was different because he knew exactly what will happen if he entered the room.

"I'm in," Ted said, and Todd stilled swinging.

"I know all about your plan Todd, and the arrow you will release, so stop acting." He completed his speech.

Suddenly, Todd stopped swinging and removed the rope from his neck, Ted started smiling, and Todd gave a signal with his hand out of the window and asked his father "How?"

"It doesn't matter how I'm in, but this time, don't kill my wife," Ted said quietly.

"This time? But she is cheating on you!" Todd answered.

"Yeah, I know all about her and your team of god justice and I want to join you."

Todd smiled and got happy because of his father's decision, they hugged each other and prepared to shake the world with the brain Ted Pinkman, his assistance Todd Pinkman, the leader Maximas Delfanto, and Mrs. Sexy Sara Alvarez. —

But for Ted, he was thinking about the dream he had, and seeing the future wasn't a normal thing at all, it was a gift for him to guide him to the right path and prove the existence of a higher power control the world named God.
