4 Prologue: Part 4 Final

After Reeh finished picking his Perks, he pressed the 'Done' button. After doing so, the panel disappeared while a mirror appeared in its place, 1 meter away, right in front of him.

The figure in the mirror was somewhat handsome: an oval face, a tall soft nose, a bow-shaped mouth, and soft angled eyebrows accompanied by down-turned eyes. This was what Reeh looked like in his previous life.

After Reeh took a look at himself, words appeared on the mirror.

[What do you want your body to look like in its prime?]

The mirror was then filled with what is similar to a character design interface right before starting a MMO game although different. There were no premade images of faces and body shapes, or eyes, or mouths, or whatnots. In each category, Reeh could change it into whatever he wants it to be. He could even make himself grow wings but he abandoned that idea.

He was going to be reborn in a world that is similar to where he previously lived. He didn't want to be thought of as a bad omen that will symbolize the end of the world, be worshipped as the Devil/God reincarnate, hunted down for display, or even worse, being captured by the government and experimented on in a top secret location similar to Area 52 just for having wings.(Author's Note: I know that that is not the real location's name but you guys know what I mean.)

So since Reeh gave up his plight of putting wings on himself that will allow him to fly, he made it up by giving himself a very handsome face and body that could contend with supermodels. And Reeh, not yet content with what he has done, decided to make himself have heterochromia -ice blue on his right eye and hazel on his left eye- as his special feature that will allow others to remember him.

A smile formed on Reeh as he was satisfied with his creation but then a voice put him in order. {Why did you make the hair and skin color 'Random'?}

The figure was entertained with the process in which Reeh created the body because of Reeh's sudden remarks and playful actions such as making different parts of his body as big as a mountain and as small as an ant, but the figure was curious as to why Reeh left the hair and skin color alone.

"Well, I don't really care about my hair and skin color so you can just surprise me. And I thought if that is what people look at to determine who I am without even knowing the real me, then that's not my problem because that doesn't reflect badly on me but on them."

{If you have such a nonchalant attitude towards outside appearance, then why did you put such emphasis on your facial features and body?}

"Well that's a different thing we're talking about. Who wouldn't want to be good looking? They may not say it out loud, but people that are good looking have more benefits than others because others are more prone to agree with them, and people know it. Since I've been given a chance to be able to choose what I want to look like, why should I not make myself good looking?" Reeh answered matter-of-factly as if there was no inconsistency in his reasonings.

{Oh} the figure was left speechless with Reeh's reasoning because it goes against with his first answer about judging someone based on what they see. 'I guess it's a mortal thing'

{Well anyways, what do you want your helper to be like?}

"Can I make my helper be my cheery, outgoing twin but with his eye colors mirrored with mine?" Reeh thought that it would be a good idea because then he could play the image of the cold, distant twin and have less interactions with strangers so he would have more time for himself and his loved ones unbothered.

{Ok, that's easy. Where do you guys want to live? The countries are the same as your previous world}

"I think USA would be good. New York is too mainstreamed so I guess I'll choose something that is different? How about Washington DC? Part of Spiderman Homecoming took place there and it seemed good. It is also the capital and where the white house, the washington monument(obelisk), and a lot of museums are located. I always wanted to go to those places."

{Ok, granted. Finally, do you want to be orphans or have a family?}

The word 'family' made Reeh pause for a moment.

"I have a question."

{Ok}

"I felt this topic was not really fully explained previously. Why won't my previous family and friends exist but I could have a new family for my next one? Aren't they the same?"

{It's quite simple Reeh. No, they are not the same. Look at it like a piece of paper. In your life, you were only given a blank piece of paper and your medium to create the images is your experience. Then you were given a second life but you still wanted that piece of paper that you had. Since an image is already there, you are already expected to add on and finish that image.

Your previous experience made you use a pencil, but your next one made you use a marker. You then feel that the pencil image that you already created doesn't fit what you planned your marker image to be and so you try to erase it. But the more you try to erase, the more the paper gets smudged.

You will then try to cover up those smudges by outlining it with the thicker marker but by doing so, you weren't paying attention that your image gets distorted by the randomly made lines. You then try to erase it but it gets more smudged compared to the pencil image. And the cycle continues with you always wanting to improve upon the image until your paper becomes tattered, ripped, and with no clear image to be found. Just complete blackness.

I want my candidate to have a clear image of what they want their life to be. It doesn't matter if it's abstract, at least they know the meaning and the reason for their creation.

I want to give them a new piece of paper that will allow them the opportunity to create their own masterpiece. Does that answer your question Reeh?}

"Yes. I understand." Reeh said out loud while thinking, 'Damn that's deep'.

{Now, what do you want your starting Stats to be}
