1 Prologue : The break up

"Let's just break up, Jiang Yili." Zhang Feinan say it in one breath. Looking at her face deeply, there was no change of expression at all. Even her eyes, she doesn't even look away.

"Okay." Hearing her answer hurt him. Zhang Feinan heart was like a broken pieces of glasses. He was the one dumping her, but why does it hurt so much as if he is the one being dumped?

"So that's it. After all this time." he laugh. How fortunate for him to be played by her all the time they were together. They are just right. She is just a heartless girl. What can he expect from her? From a cold-hearted woman like her.

She remained calm and quiet. There is nothing good if she talk. It's better to stay quiet. Sipping her last sip of green tea, she remained in her place. Putting the empty cup on the table, she reach her bag.

"Thank you for today. If there is nothing else, I will be going now." She bowed and left without looking at him anymore. He is dumbfounded for a moment with her action. Feeling hurtful, his tears actually rolled down to his cheek.

He love her. More and forever, he can never forget her. But what happened that day, it was all a bad dream come true. As he had expected from the heartless woman he had been in love for years. Whom he cherished all the time since they had become a couple.

Five years, and still. Have she ever love him? Even once. Is it his fault for being a fool?

Getting far from the cafe, Jiang Yili heartless expression turned into a sad face. Her tears fell to her cheek. She covered her mouth to prevent any sound. Reached the bus station, she get into the earliest bus without knowing the destination and cry all her heart in sorrow. Hurtfully holding her cry and let her tears down.

There's not even a day she regret being with him. Everytime they have the time to meet, she cherises all the moments. But she have a border for her not to cross. She is afraid to be with him until the end. He is a million times higher from her. To be by his side, it's just temporary for her.

"Be my girl. " That is the first word he said to her five years ago. On their first official met, under a bet he made with his friend. She, who known to be an easy girl accepted it without anymore question. He won the bet but feel challenged with her and that's how their relationship last.

Under his ego as a boy and her attitude as a cold-hearted girl, their relationship last for five years. Everybody might see them as a normal couple, but both of them know it well, their relationship is different. From highschool until college and university, how can a relationship be that plain.

But as time goes, their love start to grow to each other without them confessing it. Until that day, their love left unspoken. Even if she had always wear a plain face in front of him, she look him with her loving eyes. Have he ever notice that?

Reaching the last stop, her eyes is already swollen and red. Not knowing where she is, she sigh in sadness. Maybe it's for the best. She don't deserve him, five years is enough for her. She can't be greedy to want more from him.
