4 Chapter 3

The workers of the house designing are so good. They have done all the work less than a week. Jiang Yili look around with satisfaction. They clearly did a great job.

"Mummy, look! There's a tiny pool!" Ethan said joyfully while showing his mother the tiny pool beside the big pool. Jiang Yili smile seeing Ethan happiness.

"It's for you dear. Wanna try swimming in there?" Jiang Yili kneel in front of her son and rub off the chocolate on his cheek. As usual, she will give Ethan a bar of chocolate on sunday.

"Maybe next time. I wanna see my room first!" Excitedly the little boy run upstair.

"Ethan, be careful dear! " Jiang Yili shouted seeing the little boy running on the stairs. That boy really need to be taught of being patience.

Finally, she have her own home. Her hardwork for seven years is all paid off. Although it's not so much, she can buy a house and a car now.

"Someone moved in?" Zhang Feinan asked the butler while resting at the yard. The house across the street in front of his house seems to be busy with the worker of the moving company.

"Yes. I heard from the worker that the owner bought the house for a high price." Zhang Feinan nodded. Lily come out suddenly and ran towards her father.

"Daddy! Look at what I just draw!" Lily excitedly showed him her drawing. Zhang Feinan look at it with a smile on his face. But seeing at the whole picture, he begin to frown.

"It's daddy and mummy! Just like the picture at grandpa's house!" Zhang Feinan know the picture. The picture of her parent's wedding. Seeing the unhappy expressions on Zhang Feinan face, Lily feel sad.

"Daddy don't like it?" Zhang Feinan shook his head and and smile.

"It's great. Lily can draw so well." He patted on her head making her smile again. After Lily get into the house to draw more, Zhang Feinan sit there with a heavy heart.

The scene from seven years ago come into his mind once again. The face of the only woman he has ever fall in love with appear in his memories. The night after the break up, he got wasted and slept with some random girl whom he can't even remember.

He doesn't hold grudge but guilt. Sleeping with a random someone after a break up and even had a daughter. He was an asshole. He let a hard sigh and took a sip of tea.

He get into the house to accompany Lily. Since it is sunday, he will use all the free time he have to be with his daughter.

"Thank you so much for your help." Jiang Yili thanked the worker and sent them off from the entrance. Ethan stand beside her not knowing what to do.

After the workers left, Jiang Yili look around the neighborhood. So quiet and peaceful. Seems like everyone at the neighborhood is all so busy since they're almost nobody outside the house.

"Want to take a stroll around?" She reach out her hand to Ethan. Their hand entagled and they continue to walk around their new neighborhood. They stop at the playground near the house.

"Mummy, can I play the swing?" Ethan ask hopefully. His face is like a cat asling for a fish and that made her can't help but to laugh.

"Of course you can!" After that, Ethan start to swing with her pushing slowly from behind.

"Lily wanted to build a sandcastle! A big one! " Zhang Feinan can only laugh seeing Lily make a big with her hand. In his hand was a pail and a scoop for children.

Reaching the playground, they can hear a cheerful boy laugh as they come nearer. They both focuse to the pair of mother and son playing the swing. The woman brown curly long hair in ponytail remind Zhang Feinan of someone.

They got into the sandbox. Lily's eyes doesn't move from the woman standing with her back on them. She is so quiet as if she was immersed in the scene.

"He have mummy. " Hearing that from Lily's mouth, Zhang Feinan frown a little.

"But Lily have daddy, right?" He try to cheer his daughter. Lily smiled.

"Yeah. Lily wanted to play the swing too. We can build the castle later." Before he can even say anything, Lily has ran towards the swing.

Jiang Yili almost fall when someone suddenly bump into her. A pair of small hand reach to her hugging her leg tightly. Ethan step down from the swing when his mother stopped swinging.

"Lily!" Zhang Feinan was shocked. He didn't expect that to happen. Hearing that voice, Jiang Yili's heart seems to skip a beat and began to beat again faster.

"What are you doing?" He try to pull Lily from the woman's leg.

"I'm so sorry for my daughter." When he look up to see her face, he was caught in a struck. They both at a lost of word.

"Jiang Yili?" After a moment of quiet, Zhang Feinan let a word. His voice is trembling along with his body.

"Mummy." Ethan grab Jiang Yili's hand. The word 'mummy' sent an electric shock into Zhang Feinan heart. She have a son?

Lily is still hugging her leg. Not wanting to let go of her. Zhang Feinan is still in shock and her can't do anything at the moment.

"Mummy... " Lily began to cry. Ethan who is seeing Lily's sad face can't help but to be connected. He cried along with her and that made the whole playground filled with their voice.

"Ethan, stop crying baby... " She hug both of them while Zhang Feinan can only watch still in his own world.

Jiang Yili almost cried. Looking at the little girl in front of her, her heart feels a sharp pain. She is her daughter. She finally met her daughter. She hugged them tighter. Love flowing into them.

Only after they calmed down, Jiang Yili can be assured. Zhang Feinan who can only watch, took Lily from her immediately. His face turned somehow dark.

"You are married huh?" He asked sarcastically. Jiang Yili didn't say a word. She stand there unmoving while hugging Ethan tightly as if fear he wilk take him away.

"It's been 7 years? How old are your son?" They was anger in his words. Zhang Feinan can see it clearly. The boy beside her is at the same age as Lily.

Did she got a new man when they were dating? Is that the reason why she is willing to break up with him easily? The questions is all what he can conclude.

Jiang Yili's silence make him conclude it all by himself. So it's true. She have really played with him all the time before. Without even waiting for her answer, he immediately left with Lily.

Leaving Jiang Yili and Ethan, whom he doesn't know is his son.
