Genesis\ Miss CEO

The cheerful voice came from none other than Faith Woods. Genesis' breath hitched. Her heart started thumping faster than how it was before. If Faith is here then it can only mean one thing.

'HE' is here too...

But she isn't ready for that yet. She wasn't able to react yesterday because Aiden was there. With Aiden there she felt calm and steady but she isn't sure whether she will be able to be calm even if Ethan is by her side.

2 years ago Ethan was there too but he wasn't able to help her stay calm because Ethan himself wasn't in the right state of mind. He was even angrier than her.

So far the only reason Andrew Woods is still freely roaming around is because she trusted he would voluntarily stay away and the other reason is because Genesis treats Faith like her own sister. Deep down Genesis does not want the cheerful girl to be harmed in the middle of everything because of her. During the time she and Andrew were engaged, Genesis and Faith were absolute best friends and the sisters both of them never had.

For now she has been treating Faith quite coldly because of obvious reasons but still, Faith is innocent. Besides, Miss Faith Woods here has a hard crush on her brother. Her brother did too well at least back then. She has not talked about Faith with Ethan after Andrew's infidelity.

Both Genesis and Andrew turned to look at Andrew and Faith who were strolling around. Genesis waved at Faith with a small smile but completely discarded Andrew's presence. Andrew's expression turned gloomy and he was not the only one.

Ethan was sending Andrew daggers with his eyes. If only looks could kill. Dear, Andrew would be on the floor having thousands of knives stabbed deep inside his body, with blood oozing out of every corner. Well this is what Ethan hoped would happen, but he clenched his fists and controlled his rising anger.

"Me and big brother just moved in around this area so we decided to walk around and familiarize each other. We ended up in this park!" Faith excitedly explained. Ethan listened and glanced at his sister who nonchalantly watched.

Genesis sighed and gave his brother a nod. Ethan pursed his lips. "Faith it's good to see you again." He told her. Faith gave him a sad smile to which he returned. "Mr. Woods." Ethan greeted Andrew formally and didn't bother to be nice about it.

Although he indeed had something going on with Faith in the past, it is now in the past. Thinking about dating the younger sister of the man who cheated on his sister, and even how awkward it would be, he cringed. This is something he does not want.

Knowing her brother's thoughts Genesis felt bad. She knows Faith is oblivious to Andrew's actions. She doesn't deserve to be judged because of Andrew. It's unfair to also treat her as if she is a rotten apple too.

" That's great! I hope we can still hang out right?" Genesis initiated to restore their friendship. Faith bloomed a bright smile and she looked relieved. " Yes! Yes! Of course!" She said enthusiastically. Faith immediately ran to her side and held her hands. "Let's go talk. We should catch up as quickly as we can!" She told her and Genesis agreed.

"Fine! I'm all sweaty now, since me and Ethan went on a run. I'll go change and we can meet at a cafe nearby." Genesis told her. Faith nodded. "Let me give you my number." Genesis offered and they both exchanged numbers.

Andrew smiled. Ethan saw that and wasn't at all pleased. He suddenly thought about what Aiden told him. Out of a sudden he became determined to be on Aiden's side. "My sister would never treat Faith wrongly because of your actions. This doesn't mean she wants you near her. Do us all a favor and stay away." Ethan warned him dangerously. Andrew stayed quiet.

He didn't want to agree because there is no way he will stay away. 'It's okay. Soon enough we will fix things between us, love. I know somewhere deep in your heart you still love me' He thought to console himself.

" Alright! Give me an hour then!" Genesis told her. Faith bit her lip and hesitated to say something. Genesis smiled and asked, "What's on your mind?"

" I-I see...even though you and big brother broke up, can you at least be friends with him? I'm not asking for you to take him back! Not at all!" She raised her hands, claiming her innocence. Genesis pursed her lips. " Mhh the thing is that mother ordered my brother to be around at all times because I almost got myself robbed last time…" She admitted.

Genesis smiled lightly. "So you're telling me he will accompany us?" She guessed correctly and just as she expected Faith nodded her head, with a pout. "Fine. Well my brother is also going to stick around so I guess it will be even this way." Genesis told her. "Great! It doesn't matter as long as we get to hang out. Oh my how I missed you!" Faith told her and they hugged.

'What the hell are you doing!' Genesis heard a voice in her head. 'Why would you risk being near him?' She wondered. 'Whatever! I already warned him. This is for Faith only.' She didn't want to completely cut ties with Faith.

If one day she knows the truth and decides to part, then fine. At least it isn't her, ruthlessly putting a grudge against Faith for something she didn't do or take part in. Of course she isn't as dumb as too let Faith freely jump back into her life without investigating her. She must be as cautious as possible.

" Give me a second. I have to take a call." Genesis excused herself and moved further away. Faith nodded and went towards Ethan. She happily started a conversation with Ethan.

" Faith Woods. I need a detailed report on her, on everything that she did in the past two years." She spoke, coldly to the person on the other side of the phone. She heard a laugh coming from the other side.

"Heh Yes Coming right up...but may I ask do you need one on 'HIM' too?" The person asked. Genesis shook her head even though, the other person would not know she did. "No of course not. Hurry up or you don't get paid this month!" Genesis threatened.

"Aish! Don't be so mean. Come on and tell me when you're coming back! I already miss you honey…" She could imagine the sulking of the other person and chuckled. "Come on Jess get serious. I need this by tomorrow. This might just be another of my uncle's schemes." Genesis informed.

"Ah! Got it boss. No but really when are you coming back?" The woman named Jess asked. Genesis' lips curled upwards, her fingers shook in excitement and her aura changed. " Two months…" She responded in a sweet tone this time.

"Ugh! Finally. Yay! I can't wait to take a vacation… sigh, I have been working so hard these past two years. Being your assistant is such damn hard tsk." Jess complained, making Genesis chuckle.

Yup! In two months or less, she would finally go back to her habitat. Yes, she learned a lot, and yes Aiden is something she will never regret, but still she is a CEO herself. Her company is waiting!
