5 Beautiful Nuisance

"Assistant Gen please speak your mind. There is no use in changing the topic." Genesis placed the glass down and took a seat as soon as he let her hand go. Aiden sat down too.

"Is not that I'm uncomfortable with it..well I am..but the point is that-"

At that moment the door opened.

"Aiden! Genesis, how nice to meet you here, What a Coincidence!"

Genesis turned her head to open the door. Aiden didn't bother.

Genesis gave her a bright smile,a very FAKE bright smile.'Coincidence I think not!' She declared in her heart.

A beautiful lady in a white dress came inside. Her face being beautiful, delicate, and innocent looking. With light makeup on and a perfectly calm voice.Not loud and annoying just simply calming. It was the perfect tone. Quite calming indeed. But for Genesis, this sounded fake and annoying. Her ears could not handle the hypocrisy.

"What a coincidence indeed Kara!"Genesis stood up and hugged her.Kara Jones winked at her.

'Ah, she wants me to play matchmaker again huh?'Genesis wondered in her mind but instead, she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. Kara's smile froze but then she smiled again.

"Aiden how have you been?"Kara turned her attention to Aiden pushing Genesis away.If not for her own strength she would have probably fallen on the floor because of the strength Kara used.

Aiden turned to look at Kara but only nodded in acknowledgment."Did you come here to have lunch too?"She asked.

Genesis mimicked her in her mind.

'Did you come here to have lunch too? No! Of course, he didn't. He actually came here to pole dance.' She thought sarcastically.

Aiden nodded. Kara grinned."What a beautiful coincidence let's have lunch together then. We barely meet nowadays." Aiden simply nodded.

'Beautiful coincidence? Pfft more like a Disgusting nuisance ' Genesis rolled her eyes inwardly and was about to take her seat when Kara sat on it.

Genesis arched an eyebrow."Well then let's talk, how have you been?"Kara asked."The usual." Aiden answered nonchalantly.

Genesis awkwardly stood there."If you don't mind I ordered Italian Cuisine...enjoy your lunch."Genesis spoke to stop Kara's nonstop talk about how she and Aiden had not met in over a month because of her being away to model in Paris. "You're not eating lunch with us?"Kara asked innocently.

Genesis smiled."No of course not. I simply came to give the president his schedule for the rest of the day...and since I have already done that I will take my leave."Genesis leaned in to grab her purse from where Kara had sat and smiled. Aiden frowned."Assistant Gen we were"

"President I have to take care of the new project. Enjoy your time with Miss Jones." Genesis did not wait for other instructions and turned around to leave.

"Genesis.."Kara stopped her. Genesis halted her steps and took a deep breath to calm her anger.

"Yes? Miss Jones?"Kara sighed."Thank you for taking care of him for me.I heard you will be quitting soon. Hopefully, we can keep in touch. Call me later okay?"Genesis smiled again.

"Miss Jones was well informed. Not even the president was informed till a few minutes ago..." Genesis murmured quietly."Ha yes of course I'm always quite attentive to the people around Aiden. You are like a sister to us. Again thank you for all your hard work." Kara responded.

With her famous bright FAKE smile, Genesis responded."Of course, It was my pleasure."

"Assistant Gen…" Aiden spoke with a threatening voice. Genesis gritted her teeth.

'Boss I'm at my limit please don't add fuel to my fire.'She begged. She was already feeling annoyed at Kara and felt like she would explode soon.

"Take a seat and let's continue our lunch." He ordered her.

Genesis phone rang from her bag and she did not waste a second on picking it up."Brother? Oh yes coming right away!" Aiden frowned.

"I'm truly sorry I have a family emergency. Thank you for your invitation. Have a wonderful day!" Genesis turned to leave and slammed the door shut. She sighed in relief and hung up the call. It was not her brother but her doctor.

"Madam…" The manager spoke."Ah! You scared me." Genesis sighed again."I'm sorry the lady said she had an appointment with both you and the president."The manager explained.

"No don't worry I'm just a mere assistant. You shouldn't call me madam that title is not mine."She corrected him."But didn't-" Genesis interrupted him."It was Joke don't take it seriously."She smiled and walked away.

The manager was left stupefied."A joke? Huh?"

Genesis sighed and walked out of the restaurant. Two bodyguards approached her immediately.

"Madam.." They both called out in unison."We talked about this Jay...Nick…" She called out the name of the brothers. They bowed." We apologize for its force of habit Assistant Gen."

"Yes but that is only in front of your boss' parents. Don't make the same mistake twice."She warned sternly. They nodded."I will head inside the company. Miss Jones and the president will have lunch together and stay here in case anything happens."She ordered.

"But-" Genesis interrupted them."Not but's I will go straight to the office."She then walked away.

Genesis sighed. If Kara Jones were not Aiden's childhood sweetheart she would have already ripped her into shreds.

"Calm down Gen." She almost let out her old temperament. Two years ago she would have ended Kara's modeling career and humiliated her ten times more than what Kara has done to her."Just two more months...two more months." She murmured.

Genesis smiled and looked up and down the street. Making sure no cars would squash her, she crossed the street.

She ran in her heels when she saw a car approaching and twisted her ankle."Ouch!" She shrieked and fell on the payment. One of the guards who were at the entrance of the building recognized her and ran to help her."Are you okay Assistant Gen?"

'So embarrassing' She thought.

"Yeah, I'm fine just help me up."The guard extended his hand and she held onto it. She cleaned her skirt and put her heel on."Don't worry I'm not injured just being a bit clumsy today."She said with a chuckle. The guard nodded and made sure to help her stand up straight. He then went back to his post.

Genesis walked with a straight face pretending to be fine but this only caused more pain to fall on her ankle. She sighed and quickly forced herself to endure until she reached the elevator.

She arrived at the top floor which had now been emptied since all the workers were on their lunch break. She sat on her desk, not the one inside the president's office though. She placed her purse on the table and sighed.

"Is not that I'm uncomfortable I simply think it isn't appropriate." She whispered biting her lower lip.
