Hidden Secret

When the dark figure saw Morgan's car driving away into the distance, he came out of the shadows to expose himself.

It was Alexander Hartley, stepping forward with a determined look on his face.

He dialed a number and placed a call to the person who had sent him the text message earlier.

"How is it going?" he asked, a sense of urgency in his voice. "I was just about to leave this damned place, but a man showed up, looking for Melody. I had to hide from him," he explained, a tinge of frustration in his tone.

"Did you find her, sir?" the other man inquired eagerly, his voice filled with anticipation.

"No. I followed her trail here, but there's no sign of her. It seems she has already left," Alex said. "What did you find?" 

"I found something interesting," the other man replied. "While I was searching, I stumbled upon some information about Melody's son. It appears that he is safe and in the custody of someone else."
